The rooms were comfortable, the service was warm and kind, the food (two breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner) was perfect, and the location was ideal. Dinner was a four course meal . The food and presentation was good, and staff were wonderful. The evening cruise along the canals was great. The owner narrated the tour in Dutch and translated to English as well. He was very knowledgeable and we learned alot about the history. We had a great time and will go back.

The hotel has a very convenient location for the ferry, village centre, and nature reserve. The hotel is located in a historical building from 1843. What I like: - rooms are basic, clean and small. This year was different, and I needed a room for New Years Eve and booked at Oranje. Checking into the hotel was easy and I was offered an Ollie Bollen (Dutch Donut), before heading up to my room. They won me over by giving me deep fried dough, but then the room it self was actually quite nice as well. I had an upgraded room with a balcony which was great for viewing the last of the fireworks when I made it back to the hotel. It was a great room, with friendly staff at an affordable price. I would definitely stay here again.
