Dr Castillo has been treating my two boys for a few years now. My son had a major underbite and he looks amazing now! Dr Castillo is highly trained, super knowledgeable and is so easy to talk to. He takes the time to explain procedures and the reasoning behind his treatment recommendation. The office staff is always really great and his assistant is very experienced and skilled. A bonus member of Dr Castillo's dental team is Teddy Bear, the therapy dog! A great experience all around. The office is on the third floor with an elevator and street parking. I set appointments for the after school hours and parking is usually not an issue. read more

My daughter's lower braces broke when visiting family for Thanksgiving in San Diego (we are from Chicago), causing pain in her cheek. I have never experienced such shockingly poor customer service from any business, let alone a medical practice. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid this orthodontist's office at all costs. The follow-up process? Practically nonexistent. Good luck getting a timely response--if you even get one at all. As a new client they seemed to have no issues in answering calls but afterwards when you are trying to get them to bill your insurance all of a sudden everyone in the office dies. They screen your calls, you'll be met with endless voicemail greetings and useless follow up text messages instead of an actual human. I've left messages, followed up multiple times, call & text, and still been met with radio silence. At this point, I'd have better luck sending a carrier pigeon. As for insurance claims? They couldn't process one correctly if their business depended on it. I've had to go back and forth with them repeatedly due to their incompetence and lack of attention to detail. Each time, it's another excuse, another mistake, and another headache. It's honestly mind-blowing that a business in the healthcare field can operate this poorly. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and find an orthodontist that actually respects their patients and knows how to run a practice. read more

I am very happy with my final results working with Parkview Orthodontics. The entire staff is friendly and professional. Michelle is at the front desk and always greets you by name. Jan, who is in charge of billing, did an excellent job explaining the patient process and offered comfortable payment plans.
