Let me please be BLUNT. This agency's recruiter Amanda Glutz is the BEST recruiter that I have ever seen or worked with. I am in the 4th quarter of my career so I can tell you that she is awesome because I have worked with many over my 30+ year career and I have had limited luck with many of these folks. Amanda was thorough and extremely detailed. She made sure that no details were left out all the way down to the negotiation of my on-boarding package. She was so good I became accountable to her in what I communicated back to her. When you are working with someone there may be times where you may feel that you can change your mind or your direction, but she always held me accountable to the things that I was saying as well. It was a true partnership because she reminded me of what I said I wanted. I like that because it helped establish credibility on both sides. Once I accepted the position, she made sure to check in with me the day before I started, the day I started and even at the end of my first week. She showed that she cares about me. I was so pleased with her that I have recommended other colleagues to utilize her services. Amanda is so phenomenally professional that I would not be surprised at all if she developed her own agency. Over a long and successful career in I.T. I have worked with staffing firms of all sizes and types. None of them have ever been as bad as this one. I was given all sorts of assurances to take a 'contract to hire' with a place called ASCIP, promising all sorts of wonderful things. Here I am: unemployed for the holidays simply because they are so irresponsible, incompetent or both. Sent me to this place, with a 'manager' who refused to speak to me or give me ANY information or guidance. I reported to them, pleaded for them to intervene on my behalf as this guy seemed to truly hate my guts. Their answer was to "talk to his boss" - I said 'if he already hates me, what makes you think going over his head will help me" - a week later, I was fired for attending a luncheon, which was "not mandatory for me". read more

I haven't worked with this recruiter directly, nor will I ever after being bombarded for years by their increasingly aggressive emails promoting irrelevant candidates for positions I'm not even hiring for. I have never once responded or engaged with any of their messages and have blocked several of their email addresses, but I think they just keep switching to new ones when they realize they've been blocked. I guess that's one type of hustle that some people might appreciate, but many of us in positions to hire folks find this approach extremely off-putting. A quick Google search of this company and its CEO also returns several stories of a toxic workplace and, ironically, questionable hiring practices. After seeing how pushy they are with their outbound lead generation I'm inclined to believe most of these stories. I would definitely never use this recruiter as a hiring manager or as a candidate, and I would encourage candidates to consider how an aggressive firm like this could undermine your candidacy by association. read more
