The owners of J & L are two young men, Jerry and Larry Galathe, who just happen to be related, brothers by birth. I talked with Jerry, and while we walked the property, he then gave me an estimate of what it was going to cost and how long he estimated to complete the job, and last but not least, how many people would be on the property, because it was only he and his brother the day I saw them. Jerry Galathe gave me a date and time, and he and Larry Galathe was right on the dot. He took a second to make sure we were on the same page, and for the exception of asking me about a particular tree, they had it all together. I came out occasionally, and looked at the process and progress, and it was all good. My hedges, trees, bushes and flower beds were meticulously trimmed, shaped, cleaned of all the vines and weeds,etc., I could hear my hedges going aaahhhh, I can breathe now.from one end to the other end they were the same height. Those two young business men were serious about their professional skills and what they wanted displayed to other potential clients. The Galathes were in sync with everything they were doing. Their work was far better than great, their professionalism and respect for your property, was unparalleled to any I have seen in decades. Clean up was immaculate. I didn't have to cough up bags, broom, or rake(s) like other experiences I have had. Jerry and Larry have beau coup equipment, tools, supplies and a closed in trailer hitched to their truck. They've been in business over (10) years. Their skills are equal to (20) yr veteran landscapers. I asked the Galathes are they married with children? They told me NO. Whaaaatttttttttttttt choo sayyyyyy. I asked how did you dodge, ooops I mean manage to stay single. They answered, well, we have goals and plans for our business and it appears we are doing very well to reach it. We're very honest with our customers, with the market prices, and our daily operations are constant and dependable. Everything will fall into place,if its God's Will. Oh, Oh; you better get xtra storage space,uhh huh. Tell me this is not Nat'Ually Na'Awlins, yall. This is the first lawn company that I ever felt was worth every penny I spent for the job. I inherited my large water oak when I bought my home, and little did I know that I inherited all its problems as well. In 2021, after Hurricane Ida, another company told me my tree was dying, but rather than explain what that meant, they gladly trimmed a few branches at the cost of an arm and a leg. 2 years later, while sitting in my backyard, a huge branch snapped and remained dangling above my neighbor's yard. I called Robert from Louisiana Tree Company, and he was at my house within 15 minutes on a Saturday. He diagnosed the problem - the tree was rotting and had lived to the end of its lifespan. By the end of the same day, he sent a quote and even offered to cut the dangling branch down the next day. He also offered to get all the branches off before hurricane season and take the trunk down after hurricane season, to ensure the branches didn't snap off during a storm and gave the option to make two separate (very reasonable) payments. Once I agreed, Louisiana Tree Company was out at my house at the time they said they would be and got the job done safely and perfectly in 5 hours. I have called many tree companies over the past 3 years, and most of them are flaky, give a quote, and never call back. This company is a cut above the rest!!

Especially a tree that no one wanted to touch because it is between a power line, a swimming pool, a fence and a shed. Everyone backed away or over quoted us. Not Robert. He has a can - do super hero attitude. He has the confidence and experience to back it up. His quote was reasonable and he stayed in touch with us throughout the challenging process. First entergy had to come out to assess, that took about a week to get scheduled, then a first ever June hurricane decided to hit and pushed some jobs back, but Robert stayed on top of things and stayed in touch. He also emailed us his insurance info and certification. He is an arborist and licensed and he has no problem explaining everything. It took about 1.5 weeks for everything to be completed with all the crazy curve balls. His expert problem solving skills and dealing with such a dangerously located tree such as ours while keeping his sense of humor, remaining cool and professional throughout it all. His crew were equally brilliant and I am glad they weren't easily scared off to take on such a monster project. I couldn't have asked for better service.
