We have been storing our items here for about a year and a half now with no trouble. Last weekend, we had record flooding, which flooded most, if not all the units. We signed up with their insurance when we first started our rental unit. Access Self Storage sent over our information and I filed the furniture we were claiming damaged. Come to find out, their insurance they offer does not cover flooding. We were not told that when we signed up for it. Needless to say, we will be looking for another unit to store our things. I'm sure many other people will too. I'm not risking their drainage system again while I'm paying insurance and they aren't even taking care of their current tenants. It's a waste of my time and my money.

But on the positive side, they wrapped everything single piece of furniture in moving blankets and cellophane. So nothing was damaged. Let's be realistic... 2 guys working 8 hours actually trying to do a good, careful job is not going to be cheap. But I will use them again because I know what to expect and appreciate the results. If your furnishings are crap find someone cheaper to handle the job.

The Manager AMANDA always gave the BEST in Customer Service. Amanda was always prompt to answer my call and to answer any questions. She proved to be personable and efficient! Even by phone I knew she was smiling, and loves what she does. She is a wonderful person and a an asset to Alamo Storage Company! My worries were few as the unit was Climate Controlled, regularly Pest Controlled and the property always kept clean and secured. The Security System is excellent and I never had an issue whatsoever! During the 10 years I had NO bad experience, none of my valuables were damaged or even dusty since the area is maintained as it has been. As far as the value, it was the most affordable anywhere. I appreciate that even after my 10 years I still paid half what I would pay in other states! Again, Amanda is manager of the N. Buckner location and it was a pleasure doing business-having my HHG and valuable items stored without worry under her good care.
