worst customer service I ever ever received in my life. I don't normally like to leave reviews, but I had the worst experience with the office lady yesterday it's sad that I have to write this just based off of her actions, the tow truck drivers seem to be way more understanding and acted like decent human beings. If you have to get your car towed, do not go to this place, I didn't have a choice where my car ended up because I got in a very serious accident on the highway. I lived 40 minutes from where my accident was so I had to drive 40 minutes to get where my car was previously to getting there I called to get some information because I have never had a car towed in my life. I have never been in this serious accident in my life., but the lady that spoke to me on the phone before I even got there was so rude, she spoke to me like I was a child. Yes, I have never experienced anything like this in my life, and didn't know how towing companies worked but instead of being helpful and nice, she was extremely rude before i even got there. Don't waste your money calling them because the lady made this whole experience very difficult on me when i just was asking simple questions. When I got there, she was what I expected, she seemed very miserable with her life and had a power trip on letting people in. The lady informed me that I had to have proof that I owned my vehicle and I knew my car registration was somewhere in my crashed car. She had a tow truck driver go through my car to find my papers because she said that she wasn't allowed to let me in my car until I proved that it was mine even though it was completely totaled. The papers were exactly where I told her, and the guy couldn't seem to find them so I mentioned about if I wasn't allowed to go up and see my car before proving that it was mine if the police can come and prove that it was mine since they knew I was in a horrible accident two days previous. As soon as I brought up the police, she got very defensive and honestly it wasn't to get her in trouble or anything. It was literally just so I could get in my car since I had to drive a long ways away in a snow storm to retrieve my items from my totalled vechile as soon as I brought up the police, she got very defensive and honestly it wasn't to get her in trouble or anything. I genuinely am a very nice person, but I got pretty snippy back with the lady with how disrespectful she treated me after I almost just lost my life two days before that, the last thing I have needed is attitude and disrespect when this accident wasn't even my fault, and I have completely lost my car, and I almost died. people are selfish and only care about themselves. the funny thing is is she could see how beat up my body was from accident yet she had no sympathy for me. Rude and unhelpful bottom feeders, there to make money on your bad day. $180 to tow a car 1.6 miles. Another $135 for storage (it was there for a week) Both on the day they towed the car from the accident scene and the day we had to settle things with them and the salvage company, they were rude and impatient, and like several other posts say, they loaded the car and tried to take off with letting us get important documents. Even for a tow yard they are unorganized, and run down, and in one of the worst parts of town. There is no good reason for them to have a contract with the city of Akron. The city is forcing citizens to do business with people who will rip you off, in a part of town that abounds with criminal activity. read more

I didn't want to call these guys because of the bad reviews. But, the weather was getting bad and I needed my car towed quickly. I called a few other places and they couldn't take care of me right away or they charged a hook up charge, tax, and mileage. I had to go three miles and Bower's quoted my $60 plus tax and were there within 10 minutes of my call. The guy who answered the phone was very nice -- and I think he might've been the same guy who came with the truck. I couldn't have asked for any better service. I highly recommend. read more

I called because I drove my car over some rocks and they said they would be there in an hour or so. I called back to check in and he said the guy I talked to never said that and he kept arguing with me on the phone and basically accused me of lying. I told him the cops were already there and asked how long and he refused to give me a time.40 minutes later someone showed up and didn't even have enough equipment after I described the problem. $50 for tow which is standard and $50 for putting some boards under my tires to move the car. read more

****stay far the fu** away from this company*** i unfortunately was hit by a drunk driver and while i was taken to the hospital cops had my car towed. before leaving to the hospital i asked the paramedic to grab my wallet and bag on the seat he wasnt able to but the police officer said he will be sure my car was locked before it was towed. i was released a little over a week later i went to get my car and was shocked by the fact my passenger side window was busted out and i know it wasnt due to the accident and all my belongings including my grandfathers pocket watch my wallet my title my license credit cards and my bag were gone they also stole my 1500w mmats amp 6000w power inverter n who knows what else. security issues dought it seeing they have barbwire fence dogs and cameras so this can only mean its a inside job. someone from the city seriously needs to investigate this place asap! if not i will do it for them so anyone who has been victimized by this company leave me a comment asap thank you. read more

.. I haven't dealt with them in a year plus but. I did have items stolen from my car 100 dollar chef knife and Jordan boots and most likely more. I didn't confront them the car was totaled and I had more to worry about . But after not being to told my car was "impounded". I waited 28 days on my insurance. 9k in lot fees and tow charge.. I more so blame insurance on the last part but they did route through my car and steal my stuff. read more

If there was a negative star review I'd choose it. These guys are terrible. The woman in the office was rude and just straight up mean. Their standard rate of $90 is steep, and apparently a flat bed is considered "extra equipment" and will cost you $50 more. They left the key in the ignition on AUX and killed the battery. Wouldn't let us use our own jumpbox while we waited for 30+ mins for a yard guy to return from a tow since they hadn't cleared the path for our vehicle to get out, even though they knew we were coming to pick up. The whole experience was beyond frustrating. If you have a choice, don't choose these guys. read more
