It arrived looking so different that at first I wasn't sure if they delivered the wrong bouquet.On the website, it had an orange and purple color scheme, which was important and 80% of the reason why I picked it, but they ended up replacing the orange roses with yellow ones and made the whole thing HIDEOUS. My mom was glad to receive it because she always appreciates gifts from me, but I could tell immediately she did not like the color scheme. When I called them to report this and ask if they had any other orange flowers, the staff AND then the manager COULDN'T GIVE A DAMN and they both spoke in a defensive and obnoxious manner. No understanding, no consolation, no accommodation, nothing but coldness. Their vibe was "we got your money, you'll never get it back and you can go die in a ditch". The manager, being the jackass he is, even tried to defend himself by saying they get a lot of calls asking about where the flowers are and when they would be sent - as if that's relevant to my case, and as if that's not a normal part of running a business. I wonder what his point was. I understand certain flowers won't always be in stock, and I, as a first time customer, didn't know they wouldn't contact me regarding substitutions unless I specified it on their website. But they were so obnoxious and callous in the way they talked. They even said they did the bouquet as close as possible though the bouquet's color scheme was completely changed. They have zero aesthetics if they believe they were telling the truth. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I've stopped buying plants from Pomelo for years thinking maybe it was just me doing something wrong but I recently bought a plant and after 4 weeks this is how it ended up. When I popped over to the shop to see if she could give me some advice (the open sign was visible so I assumed she was open but I guess she wasn't), Caitlin didn't even let me in her store, she said "well I don't know what you want me to do", and she didn't even inspect the plant. She treated me as if I was a threat to her. Speaking to some other folks in my neighborhood she had apparently treated them the same way. I don't think she really cares for the patronage of Black people even though she sits in the middle of a very Black neighborhood. She keeps her doors locked during business hours and seems to be developing a reputation of being nasty to customers, specifically Black customers based on my chats and some of her other reviews. With the poor customer service and the low quality plants/ flowers it may not be worth the cost.

I called this flower shop while trying to arrange funeral flowers for my uncle. The owner…read moreoriginally quoted me $185 for a 2.5-foot flower cross, but I said I wanted something larger and more elegant with nicer flowers, so I upgraded to the premium cross for $360 which was on the website. Unfortunately, what I received looked almost identical to the cheaper option and didn't match the photo I specifically wanted. It honestly seemed like the same arrangement the owner first showed me. On top of that, the owner was rude throughout the process. During a difficult time like planning a funeral, I expected better customer service and more care toward customers rather than feeling like the main focus was just making money. basically payed nearly twice the amount of the initial quote for a 2.5 feet cross for a 3 foot cross that looks exactly the same as the cheap option. What I got looks nothing like what I asked for. No roses. None of the nice flowers at all. All cheap looking flowers I didn't want that made me want to upgrade. specifically told him I wanted nicer looking flowers than what he initially sent me and larger. Thats why I went to his website and told him I wanted the premium one and for it to look like the picture on his website which looked a lot nicer. provided full context in pictures. Seems like he does not care about the service he is providing at all and does not care about the costumer. Would not recommend. I asked him myself why it looked so different to what I wanted and what I had payed for . They then gave an explanation that doesn't even make sense. Seems like this place doesn't care to resolve or explain at all so I won't push it and I'll just leave this review here of my experience. Said he's been in business for 30 years . I don't know how he gets business coming back it he does business like this. Take this how you want. Just be mindful going here you might be left completely disappointed and feeling like you've been overcharged and scammed. I know I do. The only reason why I took my time to make such a review is because it was for such a meaningful event and I tried to communicate to him so much of what I wanted but he would always push me aside assuring me id be happy.
