WARNING!!! Please reconsider using this corporate florist for your wedding! I began working with Green Meadows on 6/22/22 for my wedding on 10/22/22. We had a phone consultation and they sent me an estimate. I had been in discussion with one of the GM florists on what flowers I would like for my bouquet, when they suddenly informed me on 9/6/22 that they had taken on another client. I was shocked. They never reached out to me first to reserve the date before simply booking another (likely higher-paying) client. I never got a call or email from them about it. I really feel this is bad business and unethical. They simply dropped me without any notice. My wedding is small, only 50 people, and I have a feeling they dropped me because I wasn't spending enough money. All I wanted was a bouquet for myself, a boutonnière for the groom, and some simple bud vases for the tables; which they quoted me $1764.90 including tax, and a delivery fee of $295.00, when my venue is less than 20 minutes from their location! I am extremely disappointed in my business interaction with Green Meadows Florist. They left me 6 weeks before my wedding without any notice. I do not recommend working with them because of how they treated a "lower cost" client (AKA someone spending less than $2000). At the end of the day, Green Meadows Florist is very corporate: they are ONLY about the money and they do not care at all about the client. I am very sad about this. I purchased floral arrangements from Green Meadows Florist (Chadds Ford) for a dinner party in honor of my mother's 90th birthday. I wanted them to be over the top special because of my mother's age and the fact that my brothers and I could not remember having had a party for her before. I searched the florists in my mother's area and saw lots of similar images; nothing stood out. When I found the Green Meadows website, I was thrilled to see such variety and quality. And the actual flowers were even more magnificent! They were so large and so perfect, many guests thought they had to be silk. They kept touching them to verify they were real. The floral arrangements made an absolutely spectacular display on the table. My mother kept the largest one and gave the two smaller ones to her best friends to take home. I stayed two more days at my mother's house, and the flowers looked just as perfect at this later time. They really had lasting quality. I also enjoyed working with the people at Green Meadows. They were kind enough to rearrange the flowers shown online so they were low and would not prevent guests from talking easily to each other at dinner. And they were super helpful about delivery. The flowers were expensive, but they were worth every penny. If your floral arrangement must be really special, Green Meadows Florist is the place to go. read more

I called Green Meadows to order an arrangement for my mom as she has ordered arrangements from them in the past and loved the results. When ordering, I asked for bright, colorful, and cheery. I referenced their Instagram post from the day before which featured peonies and was very colorful and asked if I could have something like that. What I received was night and day from what we discussed over the phone. It was bland and not what I expected. When I picked it up and saw it, I asked if I could pay more to add some color to the arrangement and was told that I could not. I am not sure what happened here. There were bouquets for sale that were the similar to the Instagram post from the day before and closer to what I had requested, so I know that they had the flowers we had discussed on the phone, but I do not know why what I received and what I ordered were so vastly different. The flowers I received weren't bad, but it was not something I would have ever picked out for the recipient. This would have been a three star review if I had been able to modify the arrangement to something closer to what I had ordered. I was surprised that they wouldn't let me make changes to the arrangement after I expressed that I was unhappy with the order and offered to pay more to get it closer to what I wanted. read more

I realize I called at the last minute for a Christmas arrangement and am grateful they were able to deliver on Christmas Eve; however, what I ordered based on a photo from their website and what actually arrived are not equivalent. I called in today (I'm from DC and needed to send flowers to Landenberg PA) and spoke to Lynn. She was so kind and helpful. Her website is fantastic and shows off her beautiful arrangements nicely (and fairly.. You actually get what you see online)! Even though the "same day delivery" deadline is noon (I called in around 2p), she was able to make it happen. A stunning arrangement showed up around 530p to my friend's house in Landenberg. My boyfriend who lives out of town googled and picked Green Meadows Florist to handle the all important 1st Valentine's Day flowers because he was impressed with their webiste. They worked with him to create a special bouquet of flowers that included my two favorites, hydrangeas and tulips. He said that they were easy and great to work and didn't mind his non traditional Valentine's card message. I like them because the flowers are beautiful and colorful and smell amazing. I also love that they hand wrote out the card that went with the flowers, they must hire some indiviudals with great handwriting, lol. Much better then getting flowers from an online website where the card has been type out and printed. The only downside my bf saw was that they called me to confirm that they had delivered them on my porch since I wasn't home. He felt that it killed the suprize element, but I appreciated the phone call since other wise I might have missed it and it gave me something to look forward to all day. read more

The woman who worked with me was pleasant and knowledgable, and assured me that they would create an arrangement in my budget that was cheerful and fun.
