This is one of the nicer bowling alley I have been in and around Bergen county. It looked somewhat new, very clean and organized facility, a bar with some sitting area in the common space, storage boxes, and got a section for some arcade games. The place is kids friendly. They use ambient neon lighting that looks really cool. We were there to attend a birthday party. There were lots of parking spots available right next to the alley. Renting the bowling shoes was easy process. The lanes were in good condition. Plenty of balls of different sizes and weight were available. The scoring system was also functional. They had some bowling slides available to assist the kids with bowling. The pins were attached to strings, so it felt little bit unnatural the way pins were falling down. The food was decent. Pizza and wings were good. I liked the lemonade they server, though I think it was just Minute Maid, not handmade. Overall I really liked the alley. In future, I'd bring my daughter to this location if she ever want to bowl again. read more

Went for a kid's birthday party at Bowlero. It's modern and renovated. Absolutely fun and party vibe through out the experience. We have 3 lanes for 2 hours. I didn't like the pins are attached to strings. Nevertheless it's good quality lanes and bowls. A small arcade by the side door. It's a big hit for the kids too after many rounds of bowling. The host also got food catering from Bowlero. It's party finger food, not bad. They came around to set up, called for cake cutting, clean up etc. very efficient. Bowlero Fair Lawn was a GREAT time. Went on a Sunday to enjoy unlimited bowling for $20.99. It was fun and Clean. The staff were super kind. Ordered chicken tenders and fries which was yummy. It comes with about 8 chicken tenders. It was a great price and you get a good amount of food. Ordered the strawberry lemonade and that was perfect. Sweet but a bit sour. There's arcade games. I have to gave it to the young lady that was trying to keep up on her own her name suddone wright I want there with my family 4 kids and two adults she told us it may be a 30 minute wait time for a lane I can't believe that corporate did not have staff to help Her she was running around doing the front desk and the bar and cleaning up the lane as well as the food area . she killed it on her own as well corporate should of closed down for the day . Both Dave and Leanna were amazing hosts! As soon as I arrived, they were very welcoming and began showing me the area they had already prepared for my son's birthday party (which was nicely done). Dave was detailed and professional as he explained the setup and timeline with me. He was also able to share other add-ons that were available to make the party even more enjoyable without being pushy. Keanna also checked in on the food to make sure empty plates were cleared and food and drinks were replenished. She was also personable and fun. Since we had such a large group of close to 30 kids and 25 adults, Dave and Keanna did a job laying out the ground rules for using the bowling alley and lanes, and even were helpful coordinating the group photo and birthday cake at the end. I highly recommend having your child's party here because of the wonderful staff, great venue, parking and location, as well as reasonable party package price. I asked specifically about the deal they had for the get two games get the third for 50% off -and I said I wasn't sure how many games we'd play, didn't realize you had to tell them ahead of time! So after our second game, we were ready to play the third went up to double check - and boom, nope, won't honor. No fine print that says otherwise (posted on the board but nothing that says AHEAD of time and she didn't ask) - bad customer service to the nth degree. I also interrupted her from game-play on office computer. LOL. Bowling wise, lanes are not well-maintained. Balls are chipped. It screwed me out of my last ball on a spare in the last frame. Came here for a kid's birthday party, and what a great place to have one for children. They all loved it! We had the nice little corner. The food was nice hot and fresh the whole time. They had a hot table of sliders, chicken tender, fries, pizza, and nachos and salsa, a kids dream! The food was very good as well, i was actually surprised. All the kids were given a play card for the arcade which was super nice, im not sure if it was included in the birthday package but that was the cherry on top. While waiting for the second pie, the party next to us asked if we had ordered another pie, which I said yes and he said to check on the pie because he saw the waitress DROP IT ON THE FLOOR and was putting the pizza back together. So I went back to check on the pizza and saw the waitress talking to the cook about the accident. The look on this girls face! She was scared to tell the cook that she needed to make another pie !! She said " I was easing her to make another one" I expressed to the cook in a calm manner that my kids are going to eat that and to please make a new pie. She looks up at me walks away and says that I have to wait for 2-3 more parties that she had to cook for ! I said, nope! I already paid for it and we have been waiting. This woman turns around and rudely says "EXCUSE ME, BITCH! DO YOU FUCKING KNOW ME!" I wasn't about to loose my cool in a bowling alley so I looked away and asked for the manager. I requested to not have my food made by her, so he offered to make it himself. I went back later on to get drink refills and saw the same cook playing around with another manager, throwing pepperoni at her and then put the pieces that were left behind on her hand BACK INTO THE CONTAINER! Nice bowling spot in Fair Lawn! I came here this past weekend with my boyfriend as part of our date night activity and we had tons of fun! It was a spontaneous idea to go bowling this day so we put our names down for the waiting list. We were told it would be an hour to 1.5 hour wait however it really was about a 35 minute or less wait time - super surprised about this yet really happy we didn't have to wait too long! During our first game the machine got stuck and I did let the employees know. Though it did take them some time to get to fixing it I did acknowledge that they were pretty busy that night and was happy it was fixed so we could continue bowling. The only drawback was that the board seemed to be keeping count more delayed for my boyfriend not sure why lol. I'm not the best at bowling though I do think I did pretty well this time around and my boyfriend and I had a blast! This location on convenient for us. They have a large enough lot for parking. The inside of the facility is pretty clean. The staff is friendly. The have an arcade section, bar section, an area or order food and if course the lanes. They do only have 32 total lanes. They have a great Groupon offer, but be aware to buy it at least 24 hours prior or you won't be able to use it. They have bumpers for the lanes if you are taking younger kids to play! read more

The SUMMER GAMES pass is totally worth it! My partner and I purchased two passes to use at the Fair Lawn location. He'd pick me up after work, which is about 15 minutes from the bowling alley, and we'd play our three games before heading home. It is a great deal. You have to check in before 6pm. You can bowl up to three games and shoes are included. You recoup expenses after like three visits. I would do it again next summer! The bowling alley is well maintained and, even during the summer games hours, is well staffed. The new arcade is fun. They gave our food to the wrong table, and I went up to check after 30 minutes after everyone was getting theirs who ordered after us, then it took an additional 30 mins to get the worst food ever, all while being scammed for how long we had to wait. They also charged us three times what they initially told us because "we were two people". You couldn't given us that number when we asked instead of saying "10$ a game" it's also per person and game. Prepare to just wait and wait as everything has a line. There lanes are not well maintained and serviced. For a Bowlero that advertises Leagues and Tournament for experts and professionals. The lanes here are horribly maintained. Every ball i brought pearl and solid even with bright colors was subjected to damaged and dirt/grease after 4-5 frames. It's just bad. Pinstripes is better compared to this place. We come here a lot with our after school special needs program and they always treat our kids great! We also come on Saturdays with our Special needs group and again they are always welcoming. What a good time we had last night at Bowlero. We haven't been bowling again since Covid. We got the food and alcohol package and bowled with our neighbors. The staff are particularly, Julie treat us sooo well... We usually go to the Bowlero in Wallington but we had Julie their twice becuase she was helping out and when we found out she worked at the one in Fairlawn, we followed her there. They follow the Covid rules pretty well. Everyone was friendly and helpful the liquor was flowing. As far as esthetics the one in Wallington is a little nicer but all in all a good time had by all. read more

Attended my grandchildren's birthday party. It was amazing. Manager Mike made sure everything was perfect. Food was constantly refilled, staff so attentive, my girls had their names in lights,clean as anything. Never saw 30 3 and 7 year olds so behaved because they had nothing but fun. We had such an amazing time we asked for the managers name so we could post a review-as it turns out, the first person we met and took care of us was the Operations manager Suddone Wright. She went above and beyond to make sure our bowling experience was awesome! She was so kind and fun, took the time to come over and fix an easy problem we had with our lane and moved our whole game to another lane so we could keep playing! Both kids and adults had a wonderful time. Our server was great, the employee who was cleaning our station was super nice, we honestly enjoyed everyone we interacted with! We went on a Saturday around 5 and played for 2 hours. Please give the Bowlero in Fair Lawn, I am sure you will have the exact same experience we do! Absolutely will be back!! This was an amazing bowling alley. Very nice atmosphere and good food. The customer service is absolutely amazing. They have a bar and restaurant area to the back of the bowling alley. I've frequented the Fair Lawn Lanes since they were called the Fair Lawn Lanes and the change in management and update to the interior/exterior really has made this establishment top notch. You feel as though you were going to a Lucky Strike, but with a hometown feel. I do not competitively bowl, but go more for the enjoyment of some time with friends, so I cannot speak to the quality of the lanes. My fiancé is more competitive than I am and has a better understanding of the quality of lanes and he feels that they are very good. We usually end up bowling on Friday evenings, which before 11 pm is close to $7 per game which we were told is one of the most expensive nights to bowl. After 11 pm its $12.89 pp for unlimited bowling on Friday nights which is a good deal if you're out late. They now have waitresses that attend to food/drinks while you're bowling. There aren't many of them so sometimes it does take awhile to get food/drinks if you place your order with them. Still a nice option though. I haven't tried the food just yet, but the updated menu it looks like it has something for everyone. Their new cocktails are enticing as well. Love the new look! Will definitely be back! read more

I was expecting a wait on Friday night around 9:30pm but we got two lanes right away. You can tell it's definitely been renovated lately. Staff was friendly and helpful. There's a mini arcade there and the air hockey machine ate some of our credits. We told the staff there and they gave us another game card with the credits loaded on which was great. If you don't have a Groupon, there's a deal Friday night for $18 per person for unlimited bowling, possibly a late night special. Not sure what time that starts so call and ask.
