No flowers or kind words to acknowledge the decades he gave to the Club. After three decades of unwavering commitment--missing birthdays, graduations, and countless special moments with family--he walked away without so much as a simple thank you. He showed up through illness, fatigue, and physical pain, always putting the needs of the members first. He remained loyal and hardworking, ensuring an exceptional experience for others, even as he himself was overlooked. It deeply saddens me to see his years of service end in silence. It took me time, and courage, to write this. But I could not let it pass unspoken. No one deserves to be treated this way--especially someone who gave so much, for so long. And yes, I am going to make this go viral :)

As newbies, my wife and I fell in love with this place after shopping a couple of other places. We joined annual membership and began taking lessons after trying out a simulator, drinks and interviewing a coach. Overall experiences have been great so far. The highlight of this place is, I think, the professionalism that the owner upholds. What I mean by saying professionalism is that he knows how to meet the needs of patrons, as opposed to pressing on too much or neglecting any requests. After a few visits and joining memberships, he greets us exactly in the same way by saying 'what can I do for you?' whenever we visit the IDG Club Golf & Cafe.

Parking in multiple lots (though the signs sometimes led people astray, too many choices in the jughandles of NJ, I guess). Lots of vendors and sponsors coming in; one down side was a lack of clear bags from the vendors (too much to carry), I wish they'd had a locker system to take advantage of placing things within to safekeep as you walked around the course. The course was beautiful, green, and cool (the weather was perfect), and the grounds crews were bustling (the cart drivers moved too fast - almost did almost run me over twice). The PGA volunteers however were nice and pleasant, including Bill celebrating his 95th birthday! I like the location last year better (hard to beat the views at The Liberty National Course), but the setup was very familiar and perfectly interesting for most of the fans. The driving range was just at the entryway, which was nice, you had to walk past in order to get into the live greens, so good placement there. Had golf lessons all over (Mastercard, Barclays, NJ Golf Association, etc.), and a food truck section that looked mighty delicious with lobster rolls, French Cajun, fried cheese curds and other options not normally found on a golf course. That was a nice touch, in my opinion. The facilities were top-notch if you were near the 18th green. Once you ventured further out, though, the lack of bathrooms was more evident, although plenty of vendors all over. And odd sign flickering issues as they switched from stat to stat at several locations (I blame the electronic sign vendor on that one).

However most of the games weren't working. There were games that looked to be worked but it turns out they weren't. So basically any money I had on my card got eaten up and when I went to customer service they claimed to put it back but when I checked the balance it wasn't true. Perhaps it was the card but it was just a terrible experience. A lot of the people working seemed very inexperienced.

Of course, 'ole time fav such as giant turkey legs, fried oreos, riceballs, empanadas, Southern boil at JD's, tropical drinks, etc can also be found right here as well. Joe's lobster shack's lobster rolls are at $15 with huge chunks of lobster meat, sooo delicious! If you have a sweet tooth, must try House of Cupcakes truck. Cupcakes are $3 each with several choices to choose from. This place is huge! There are two different entrances. The side door which bring you downstairs and the front which I believes leads to their party room up stairs. I can't comment on what it looks like upstairs because i didn't have a chance to look at it due to someone actually using the space for a party. If your not a member, you need to pick up the telephone in the downstairs entrance for the bartender to buzz you right in. I had to go in and out a few times and I must say, the bartender was very attentive when it came to letting people into the room. Downstairs has a full service round bar. Cold draft beer with chilled beer glasses, inexpensive drinks, two dart boards, and a ton of tables to sit at as well. Oh and if someone buys you a drink you get a chip that says "good for one free drink" as opposed to the upside down shot glass. Kinda cute. They also have in house lottery tickets that are a dollar each. Found that to be pretty cool as well.

It offers tables for people to sit at, an area for food to be served, a dance floor and enough room for a DJ. Since there is no bartender, you can hire your own. This place also has a small bar area for he or she to work at and a place for guests to get their drinks from. Everyone had a great time and would personally be keeping this place in mind in the future for anyone who needs advice on where to have a graduation party or host any event of that kind.
