My luck changed today! Oldest sons' feet have grown like crazy during Covid, going from a size 4y to size 7 Men's. Of course, he needed baseball cleats before practice (again, pair #3) that didn't hurt his feet or my wallet. On a whim, I looked online and found a pair that might work; confirmed stock over the phone and asked the employee to hold (last pair) for us. Arrived to a warm greeting from Cassandra with the Nike cleats waiting. Good fit. Great price: $20 on sale. Saved me $10 and a drive to Chesapeake. They're noticeably reluctant to bring out both shoes to try on at the same time; likely trying to reduce theft BUT it makes it weird to ask "can he try on the other one....at the same time." Enjoyed the hip hop tunes while waiting. Paid easily via Apple Pay and we were on our way. Shared parking lot, no public restroom. Reminds me of A&N from "back 'n the day," with a lot less stuff. Bottom line, if you're looking for wide variety this isn't your place; Dick's probably has more merch on their clearance racks than Hibbett has in the entire store. But, if you're in the neighborhood seeking convenience, take a chance and get inHibbetted.

He even specifically told us what brands were there. The prices were also super cheap compared to dicks.

Select from socks, pens, lanyards, flags, shirts, glasses, bumper stickers, and other team branded memorabilia. On 2 visits, prices were reasonable but be warned they're invented on the fly based on who's working vs who's shopping. A baseball hat quoted @ "$10" by male employee on first visit; same hat "$15" lowered to $12 by female employee on visit 2. Use this to your advantage as this indicates there's wiggle room. PSA: as the window signs indicate, they've been trying to close the store for about a year which means no new inventory coming! I learned the hard way that if you see something you like, make an offer or else it may not be there when you return.

Today's visit the clerk immediately assisted me. However, no follow up other than pointing me in the right directions. I needed more than that with sizing. The store has a lot of sports merchandise, it may be what your looking for. However, I have never been able to find what I needed. They have little youth sizes and that has been the issue. Give them a try because there are not a lot of these type of large big box stores with professional team licensed merchandise. Just myself, but I probably will not be back.

Four hours later, I emerged like a survivor of a retail apocalypse--battle-scarred, dehydrated, and somehow holding a kayak, three candles that smell like sadness, and a family-sized bag of chips I didn't even want. The employees? I'm convinced they hold staff meetings in an underground bunker where the theme is "Hide and Seek: Advanced Edition." I asked one guy where the lightbulbs were and he pointed upward and said, "We got some in the ceiling," then disappeared like a retail ninja. The aisles are a maze designed by someone who hates humanity. I swear I passed the same crying baby, the same man debating toothpaste brands, and the same giant inflatable holiday decoration at least six times. I'm pretty sure I aged 3-5 years in there. Self-checkout? Absolute chaos. I scanned one item and the machine screamed at me like I was smuggling diamonds. Then it demanded "an attendant" who, of course, was nowhere to be found--probably in the bunker. By the time I checked out, the sun had set, the seasons had changed, and I questioned everything I ever believed in. I entered a customer; I left a philosopher. One star. For being open. That's it.
