They said they had been using the Schluter system for numerous years. The work they did was sloppy, and they played games requesting half the money for the work after 4 days saying that they did this on all their jobs. I had agreed to payment upon completion. On the fifth day I left them a written letter explaining that their work was not properly installed and that I wasn't paying until the work was completed. I had bought all the material, and they weren't out anything. On the fifth day I found that they had packed up their tools and left the bathroom full of garbage. I called in 4 different contractors to see about completing the work, but I was told by all of them that the work that Scott and David did wasn't properly installed as required by Schluter to have the work warranted, and that the shower would leak as they hadn't sealed the seams properly or applied the Schluter All Set to the wall and the back of the tiles. Scott only buttered the back of the tiles to the Schluter boards. I also called the Schluter Company who said that they would not cover the warranty due to the improper installation. There was water damage and mold on the floor and Scott just went over it. He didn't replace the bad sub floor. I had to have all the work they did torn out and we lost all the Schluter materials, tile, and thin set. I have now filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General as there was never a written contract and Scott and David didn't follow the Ohio Consumer sales practices. They didn't provide a 3 day right to cancel with them notice. I will be hiring an attorney to go after these guys. Don't trust these 2 - you will be sorry. Their work may not leak at first, but when it does they will be long gone and you will be with a warranty or anyone to go back to.

For a project that was supposed to take 2 weeks, I'll say this: our project started the 1st week…read moreof the baseball season & didn't "end" (if you can call it that) until the first week of the baseball playoffs (6 months later.) If you proceed with this company, do not under ANY circumstances, pay them the 2nd or final payment until your job is ENTIRELY complete and you are 100% satisfied--NO excuses from them. Every nail is in, every board is down, and even every speck of sawdust has been swept up. "We'll talk to the manufacturer and touch base in a week" will easily turn into 6 months; you are now not their priority & might not be happy with the finished product. You can imagine how many messages they sent about that last payment vs. when we were looking for answers related to our incomplete job. We erred against our better judgement & suffered the consequences. My wife & I wanted to get new floors for our home and knew it was going to be the biggest personal investment for our home. After she met with a few flooring companies, she was drawn to All Flooring Ohio because they were local, enthusiastic, and were willing to bring the samples to our house. The price was in-line with other companies we worked with to that point. Per AFO, we were told it would take 2 weeks for the project to be completed from demo. I can't stress enough how great the 1st crew was that showed up to install the wood floors. They were incredibly nice & kind, worked hard, & did a good job cleaning up after their day was finished. They had an excellent system & were quite efficient. Their craftsmanship was great & we're really happy with their portion of the work. They are a big reason, almost the sole reason, that my rating is not a flat "1." The only snafu that came up while that crew was here is they realized the flooring company shipped the wrong color for stair noses. They let the owners from AFO know about the issue and they contacted the distributor. They said they would get the right ones sent out and 'should' arrive before the rest of wood flooring is done. We immediately started getting contacted about our final payment. This was concerning because the carpet portion still hadn't been completed and the wood flooring portion was still waiting on the right materials from the distributor. The carpet crew that showed up was nothing like the first flooring crew. They showed up reeking of smoke and left our house smelling the same way. They did a decent job, but it's quite off-putting to need to open the windows for days at a time to get the smell of cigarettes out of your daughters' rooms due to an installation crew. The distributor sent the wrong stair noses a 3rd time & AFO had contacted us again for final payment with the reassurance that the stair noses & remaining trim in our bathroom would be finished promptly; we, regretfully, provided it even with the project not done. There was quite a bit of back-and-forth because the manufacturer could not get the color correct, and AFO suggested that they could stain the stair noses that did arrive to match the rest of the flooring. I dropped off 3 portions of flooring that were scraps from what had been put down. After a few more weeks of waiting they said they thought they had a match & would work with us to get scheduled for the installation. At this point we had been already waiting a couple of months. After MONTHS of us asking when we would be scheduled, being ghosted for a week at a time after delayed responses, getting a date, then having the date taken away, asking again (and again, and again) we finally got an install date. At no time did we feel like we were any kind of priority for the company or owners. This install only took 3 hours and you'd think they could find that time, even after hours, for a customer that had been waiting for over 6 months & was incredibly frustrated at this point. Imagine spending $30,000 on new floors and they can't find 3 hours to finish the job after 6 months & already having paid. When the install date finally came, the crew that showed up was rough and spent the entire 3 hours arguing with each other. It was unprofessional, even worrying, that this company would choose to have a crew represent them like this. Imagine being in your home and listening to two strangers argue for 3 hours--it's beyond exhausting and makes you uncomfortable IN YOUR HOME. And the coup de grâce to this: the stair noses still didn't match. The installers even noticed it & mentioned it to each other, waited for us to say something, & then contacted the owner. She said it was OUR fault because we only dropped off one sample (we dropped off 3) and it only picked up a darker portion of the colors in the floor. She followed up with an e-mail on how we could add bleach to soften the color of the stain. I'll remind: we paid more than $30k for this.

Also very accommodating; letting us take several samples home for comparison. When we finally made our choice they worked with us on an installation date weeks in advance. Their carpet installers were great. Removed the old carpet, pads and tac in a matter of minutes. Installed the new rug with no problem. Their cleanup after install was much appreciated. Everything went off without a single problem or delay. Looks great too.
