I found Forefront Dermatology through family members. It took a while to get in, but I am glad I…read moredid. Dr. Colleran is friendly and very thorough. I would recommend her to others. My husband asked her to check the small bump behind his ear and she biopsied it - later doing more to remove the cancer.

I went to Dr. Hillary Johnson to learn about my options to treat my minor dents left from acne. My skin was all one tone but had minor pits. Dr. Hillary had her MA sell me on TCA treatment. Dr. Hillary came in and immediately had the acid up to my face before I could even ask questions. I was physically leaning away to try and ask my questions. She proceeded to do the treatment never once warning me of the risks. I have never seen a worse example of informed consent. One month later I am still left with incredibly dark red scars from the treatment. I now have to wear makeup every single day to cover the marks left by the treatment. Marks that I was never warned would be a side effect. Marks that had I known were a risk, I never would have done the treatment. I went to get the treatment in anticipation of my wedding to fix this minor insecurity and was left with a giant strobe light onto said insecurity and stuck paying hundreds of dollars and likely many more months of just time waiting for the scars Dr. Hillary left on me to heal.

I can't even begin to properly convey how problematic my short time with PA has been, but I'll try…read more I underwent ADHD testing in February, and I was diagnosed officially, as well as with social anxiety and rejection sensitive dysphoria. The provider was thoughtful, on time and generally competent. Then it all went horribly wrong. As part of my treatment, I was referred to a therapist and a prescriber, both within the PA system. I first had my appointment with the therapist. I showed up on time, checked in, and waited. There was a sign at reception saying that if you have not been called back 10 minutes after the appointment start time, to let them know. At the 10 minute mark, I flagged them down, and they said that they would call the therapist again. Ten minutes later, she had still not come out even though reception kept calling her. My anxiety went through the roof, and I ended up leaving without ever being seen. I was rescheduled with another therapist, who then canceled my appointment the day before. I was rescheduled for 2 weeks later. My session was...weird. I believe the purpose of therapy is to allow the patient to talk, but the therapist seemed to make it a game to try to finish my sentences before I could. In the meantime, I have been receiving paper invoices when I specifically directed that for privacy purposes any billing statements be emailed or texted. HIPAA allows a patient to direct the format communications come in, and PA have completely disregarded my wishes. Both visits were denied by my insurance because the primary reason for the visits was noted as something completely different from the actual purpose. I'm not sure if it was a play to get more reimbursement, but it seems awfully shady. I requested both be resubmitted, and only one has, despite my repeated requests. Time is running out on the resubmission, so it looks like I'm going to be out several hundred dollars. I requested a refill of medication through Amazon pharmacy, which I have used for years. Amazon attempted to contact PA many times and they never responded, resulting in my having to go without my medication. Thankfully, I was able to explain the situation to my GP and he called in a script for me. They STILL have not called Amazon back. Another prescription was called into the wrong pharmacy, one that I do not have a relationship with so it took a while to get to the bottom of where it was sent and why no one called me about it. I called 11 days ago to speak to them about all the issues and the resubmission for insurance. I was told someone would get back to me that day as it was a priority. No call back. Ever. I called today to speak to them about the ongoing issues. I was told I would speak with a member of management. After being on hold for a lengthy period, I hung up. That was 3 hours ago and now the office has closed. Please stay far away. I wish I had. This level of incompetence, particularly with mental health services, would be laughable if it were not so damaging.

Well, first off, I have filed a written complaint with the licensing board against one of the…read moreclinicians at this practice for verbal abuse. So there's that. My experiences with this practice caused me significant psychological distress. I felt very condescended toward, and got the distinct impression that the clinicians here see mental illness as a weakness, and those with mental illnesses as fundamentally incompetent. I would recommend seeking treatment almost anywhere else.
