Anyhow, I was in desperate need of a trim since it had been 6+ months and I was looking feral. After seeing positive recommendations in a local community group online, I called Amber and she was able to fit me in within a day or so which was a nice surprise. Her shop is very clean and cute, she's diligent about Covid-19 precautions, she's an overall cool person to be around, and she did a fantastic job on my long, wavy, graying hair. She managed all this for a price so reasonable, I had to look twice. I'm confident that regular visits to Amber will have me looking human rather than like an angry spirit made of creosote branches and dust. Also, her shop is over by Old Town Yucca so there's good coffee and fun little stores nearby if you want to make a socially distant day of it. Her shop has lots of parking right up front, too, and would have been easy to find if I'd just listened to Waze the first time.
