My experience at Blonde Ambition was wonderful. I wasn't quite sure how short I wanted to cut my hair as I have been growing it out. Raelynn asked me questions and communicated with me very thoughtfully and we ended up with the perfect length. I absolutely love my hair and it's cut perfectly. Raelynn also gave me a complimentary deep conditioning. I generally don't comment on other reviews but I must say something about the 2 star review left by Dana L. I was the other half of that double booking today. I booked on the website so I was on the Schedule but the other client said she sent a text message. I was thinking of offering my appointment to her, but she left before I had a chance. She walked out even before giving the Raelynn a chance to make good on the situation. From my perspective this seemed like an unfortunate situation, but the salon did want to make it right somehow. I don't know the Raelynn personally but the 2 times she's cut my hair she seemed very personable, thoughtful, and client focused. read more

I stopped in a couple of weeks ago to see if someone on staff was experienced with thick, coily, mixed-race hair. I got married back in October and visited the salon with my bridesmaids to get our hair done. The girls at the salon were amazing and so friendly. There were 5 of us and we got in and out of the salon in less than 2 hours. When we arrived I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted and she worked from there. I couldn't have asked for a better style on my wedding day and turned out better than what I had originally wanted. Also all of my bridesmaids were so happy with how their hair turned out as well. If this is your first time to this Salon I would not book with Elizabeth. I scheduled an appointment with her weeks ago. I confirmed the appointment twice. I rearranged my very busy work schedule and got my nanny to come in on her day off so I could make it to this appointment. Two hours before the appointment I got a very rude txt that she had to reschedule. No explanation or apology. I was in the shower when she txt so when I didn't respond within a few minutes. A half hour after the first txt she followed up with another rude txt that because I didn't respond that she assumes I'm a no show and will cancel my appointment. I'm pretty shocked to be treated with such hostility from Elizabeth. I'm not sure if this is how the other women at the Salon work but I would advise any new customers to proceed with cation. read more

I came for the first time before Covid and walked out with an incredible haircut done by Sarah. It lasted me the entire pandemic. She does a great layered trim. I came back when the regulations lifted- even though I had to wait a week to get in- it's because the Covid laws can't pack the salons with people. It was worth the small wait. I've been in YV 14 yrs and have had a really difficult time finding someone to cut my hair in a flattering style that I can manage. My hair is very fine and while I have a lot of it, it has a mind of its own. So needless to say, my expectations were not very high when I first walked in to Blonde Ambition for my appointment with Sarah. What sweetheart she is as well as knowledgeable and professional. She told me that she has had her pretty little shop for 5 years (I wish I had known!!). She told me that she can use either scissors or razor deepening on the hair style. We live out here for half the year and most times I get my hair done in Colorado but given that Covid hit and my last cut was back in July, I desperately needed a trim and some layers. I scheduled with Nate' and I was blown away. Yep, just by a trim and some layers, blown away. I had tailbone length hair at least 37 inches long, postpartum hair loss really affected the thickness of my hair and I really needed to do something with it, but was upset by my last haircut experience. It's been a couple of months since my experience but I still wanted to take a minute to compliment Sarah. I was visiting from out of state and needed my eyebrows done. Now, I am picky about my eyebrows I'll admit. But I've had Sarah do my hair in the past and she always did a great job. So I called her up rather last minute before an event I was attending, and she was able to give me a slot the next day.
