I do have…read morea lot of furniture and stuff but it took a crew of 6 guys close to 15 hours and they left quite a bit of my things because two trucks were full. I even completed the inventory online to receive my quote, over $6k. It was their error if the scheduler did not know that my inventory would not fit in the two trucks. All the men had positive attitudes, but a few were not as active as the others. I had a few items get broken, yet again, but the last time this happened it took months on end to get things fixed. I decided not to go through that again. As I stated earlier, between the sky high prices, lazy movers, unorganized schedulers and just total change of quality and care, I will not be calling them ever again.

When the truck was opened at delivery, the unit had tipped over and the dryer glass was shattered. The company later denied my claim, stating I signed a liability waiver because the units remained stacked. My issue is not that the units were transported stacked -- it's that they appear to have been improperly secured during transport, causing the straps to fail and the appliance to fall. I trusted the movers to transport the unit safely. Very disappointing outcome and claims process.

The crew not only pack the items but verified our totes were properly secured for transportation and logged. If an issue came up, Mike immediately addressed it. This was our third move so we can saw that their efficiency and speed far surpassed other companies; they had a 2500 sq ft home for 4 packed in 7 hours the first day and loaded in 7 hours on the second day. We were able to clean the rooms they emptied while they continued to another, so we left 10 minutes after they did allowing us to relocate a whole day earlier than originally planned. Definitely consider booking Mike's team with Corrigan from NC for your moving needs because they won't disappoint you! We have had the pleasure of working with Drew Ludlow as both the buyers agent 6 years ago and as the sellers agent this week due to an employer relocation. He maximizes the buyers' experience for out of staters by having your days packed with oversight of the area to explore and showings in your desired location. If you choose to go non-stop, he has snacks and drinks for you and the kids! His selling process doesn't include open houses for the nosey neighbors, and if you need help he does have checklists for preparing your house for showings. He is very knowledgeable and dedicated to helping the process along with the least impact on you and volunteering to help when you're overwhelmed with physically moving. He also has some great references for mortgages and other contractors you may need. He was such a great buyers agent that not only did we recommend him to others but we became friends. Then the next week everything from the house moved. I was so pleased with the move both times I asked if All Star could move all the items I had moved over time into a storage unit and bring it to the new house. This included hundreds of board feet of hardwood lumber and all of my hand tools and misc wood working equipment. Highly recommend and based on my request to move us out of storage, I would use them again.

When the movers arrived, the youngest one didn't know how to pack art. (The primary bulk of our move) and a supervisor had to "teach" him. He then proceeded to pack my art in ways that likely damaged it. (See attached photos) I called the owner to let him know what was going on and before I could explain fully, he interrupted and said "I'm sending the guys back". I would've let him know they were still here and explained further what was happening. (Which was that I asked them to just start moving and would unpack the poorly packed boxes myself, after sending him photos) When Matt arrived he asked to see the boxes. I told him I already started unpacking them. He said "well how am I supposed to know how bad it is?" I said "the photos I sent". I guess this is the point he thought I was trying not to pay for anything and attempted to cancel the job right there, claiming they were not a good fit, but not to worry, I wouldn't be charged. I said "I want to pay your team". He said "could've fooled me". He then proceeds to tell me he didn't remember about the art that was packing. (Why did we do a walk through then?) and that I don't know how to move. (No kidding, that's why I hired you), that HE supervises his staff, not me. (The only thing I asked his head guy to do was confirm if a box should look like that and he said no. That's when I called the owner.) This company is incredibly overpriced, lacks transparency, sends high school kids to pack boxes, and then blames the customer upon complaint. I insisted on paying, but they took an hour off my bill. (I believe this is fair financially as they were only here for 3) However, beware of this company and the tactics they use to pressure you to book, and the kids they send to do the work.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They spent about 2 hours doing…read moreliterally nothing, three hour overall to unload 4 pieces of furniture. They were told not to unwrap anything and they spend an obscene amount of time doing that too. They gouged my walls, put holes in them, charged me almost $300 more than the quote (with a TON of waisted time) told me they'd get someone out to get the holes patched. No one ever reached out. When I contacted them a little while later they told me that I said I'd patch the holes, I didn't and have four witnesses to say so. When I tried to argue it there was the old "well you're out of luck" response companies give when they don't want to deal with someone and said the issue is closed because they sent a check for $50 so that I can patch the holes they made. This company is dishonest, disreputable, and dismissive. They will damage your property, lie about it, and overcharge you at the last minute. If you use them, record everything and babysit the movers a if they're teenagers at a party. It's the only way you have a chance at not being screwed.

The movers arrived and asked me if I needed more time to pack. I had only hired them for heavy pieces of furniture which do not need to be packed. Which I stated to them. One of the movers, a woman named Lynnette, took photos and videos of my belongings WITHOUT MY CONSENT and called her boss to explain how I was not move ready when I just needed them to move furniture. Very unprofessional and honestly just plain rude. Another man who arrived asked to purchase my lawn mower that was not at all for sale. They absolutely refused to move me. Their moving consultant, Kobe, called me to let me know that I was not move ready and that they had availability to move me Monday or Tuesday. I needed to move SUNDAY, had planned everything around the SUNDAY move. I work for a living and was unable to take time off. When he tried to force me to reschedule I asked him to call me back at another time due to how upset I was with the whole interaction. Tuesday morning, I get a call from a mover telling me they are 10 minutes away. Huh? I never scheduled anything for Tuesday and was under the impression I would receive a follow up call to reschedule the move. Contacted them and they told me I said that Tuesday was fine and if it wasn't a good day that I had planned to call back. Complete and utter lies. As of now, I have not gotten my refundable deposit of $100 back from them. Now I have to find different movers. I am living between two different houses (luckily due to friends and family I was able to move the absolute bare minimum on Sunday, but not everyone has that). It is had been a NIGHTMARE. Called back 30 minutes later to book and the price jumped to $670+. If you quote a customer a price, honor it.
