PROS: We called for a move with short notice and were able to be scheduled. Terrence Young was the crew leader for the 4 guys who moved us. They called on their way and showed up on time. They did a good job wrapping items and making sure they were protected. All of the crew was very friendly. I didn't see all the negative reviews until after our move was done. In our case, things were OK. I hope the company is treating the employees fairly, the crew worked hard and asked questions along the way to verify which items were being moved. CONS: IMHO, they were the not the fastest. We had a slightly long distance move, and I think they must have stopped between our old home/new home because the drive took so long. There was a gauge in one of our walls that I didn't see until after they had finished up. All in all, the feeling I get is that the issues with the company are at the executive/corporate level. Do NOT waste your time and money going to this company. They are extremely incompetent. I was told they not only had availability on a Sunday, but that it would be cheaper to schedule a move for a Sunday. So, that's what I did. The movers arrived and asked me if I needed more time to pack. I had only hired them for heavy pieces of furniture which do not need to be packed. Which I stated to them. One of the movers, a woman named Lynnette, took photos and videos of my belongings WITHOUT MY CONSENT and called her boss to explain how I was not move ready when I just needed them to move furniture. Their moving consultant, Kobe, called me to let me know that I was not move ready and that they had availability to move me Monday or Tuesday. I needed to move SUNDAY, had planned everything around the SUNDAY move. I work for a living and was unable to take time off. When he tried to force me to reschedule I asked him to call me back at another time due to how upset I was with the whole interaction. Tuesday morning, I get a call from a mover telling me they are 10 minutes away. Huh? I never scheduled anything for Tuesday and was under the impression I would receive a follow up call to reschedule the move. Contacted them and they told me I said that Tuesday was fine and if it wasn't a good day that I had planned to call back. Complete and utter lies. As of now, I have not gotten my refundable deposit of $100 back from them. Now I have to find different movers. I am living between two different houses (luckily due to friends and family I was able to move the absolute bare minimum on Sunday, but not everyone has that). It is had been a NIGHTMARE. I needed to confirm the time with the person I was picking the pieces up from as it was earlier than we orginally agreed to before I scheduled the movers. BEWARE! We hired a pack/load/unload from All My Sons (~$8k). The paperwork wasn't finalized until the morning of moving because of technical issues on their end. The move itself was careless. Items damaged upon arrival, door jams damaged during packing, etc. Truck and boxes seemed to be packed poorly with bad utilization of space and general disorganization. An entire bathroom in our house was left unpacked as well as several drawers in the kitchen (didn't notice until after the pack was finished). One of the packers consistently thumbed through the items he was boxing up....not sure why but we were not a fan. Boxes were labeled poorly and/or not labelled at all. We were quoted 1 truck but more than 1 truck was needed, so we had to scramble the evening of the move to find a place to store our extra items that couldn't fit in the truck. The unpack was scheduled for the wrong day so we had to get a hotel and it cost us extra money. This was extremely irritating and inconvenient for a variety of reasons. The scheduling issue was entirely All My Sons fault (although they wouldn't admit it) but it's like pulling teeth to get in touch with anyone or contact customer service. One of the movers himself said to me "the scheduling guys mess up the days all the time". Not confidence-inspiring. I'm also pretty sure one of the movers was ripping THC vapes in our house during the pack, or the person just smelled of weed. All-in-all, for the amount of money we spent, I expected more. I got a callback from Andy from corporate who follows up on online reviews/feedback. Andy was very easy to work with and wanted to find a solution to my missing lamp. He reached out to the Phoenix and got the same non-responsive communication as I did. He said he'd work at correcting their customer service. Ultimately, the lamp was never found, and Andy and I came to an agreement on a replacement value for the lamp. He's having a check issued for the value. I will update once the money arrives. This was my first and I can confidently say will be my only experience dealing with All My Sons Moving. There was so much that happened at once that just made for an overall horrible experience. The move was from Cuba, MO to Arnold, MO. I was quoted for a 2 man crew at $149 per hour and $149 per hour travel plus other fees. I was set up for 1st thing in the morning. On 1/25/25, less than 24 hours before the scheduled move I received a call from Tony, the operations manager. He informed me a crew member had called in for the next day and some adjustments needed to be made. He then said that my time needed to be changed to early afternoon. He then said that I could take the time change or it would need to be rescheduled to a different day. I'm not so privileged that I can just reschedule an entire move to a different day in less than 24 hours so I did agree to the time change. He said my travel rate would be discounted since none of the events leading up to this were my problem. He stated there was a small move in O'Fallon at 9 AM. That should take approximately 90 minutes and then the crew would head to Cuba. I estimated that to be around noon or so. Then he said he would have to send a 3 man crew at an increased labor rate because that's the crew that would be at the quick job before mine. I stated that I wanted to keep it at a 2 man crew because this too was not my problem. After going back and forth Tony said he would uber the 3rd crew member from the 1st job back to the warehouse at his cost. On 1/26/25 the day of the move by 12:30 nobody had arrived in Cuba or called to let me know they were on their way. Since Tony had said early afternoon, I decided to try to call just to get a time estimate. Between 12:30 and 1:30 I called several different phone numbers for and was unable to reach anybody. I sent an email, a text as well as a Facebook message which still haven't been responded to. At 1:30 Josh answered the phone I explained the situation and told him I just would like a time estimate and he said he would contact the crew and call me right back. Within five minutes he called me and said they finished their job at 12:45 and were at the gas station getting refreshments and will be on the way. Josh was very apologetic for everything that had happened up to this point and he also mentioned a travel fee discount for my inconvenience. At 1:53 one of the crew members contacted me and informed me they would be at the Cuba location in an hour and a half. I told him that I was told they were on the way 20 minutes ago. He stated he didn't know why anyone would say that because they had just finished the move. In the end, I ended up with a three-man crew and charged $199 per hour for labor even though I did not agree to that in the first place and I also explicitly told Tony the day before that that was not what I wanted. The whole move took from 3:15 to 7:15, 4 hours. Loading, travel and unloading. I was charged for 4 hours of travel plus 4 hours of labor with no explanation as to why and I still can't figure that one out. I attempted to resolve this privately though the company however the last email I sent 9 days ago has gone unanswered so I'm assuming this company is fine with people feeling completely cheated. I should have trusted the Yelp reviews over the Google reviews. After some research I found All My Sons uses Birdeye which is a paid service to elevate reviews on Google. Thought I got a great deal on moving. The movers were friendly and nice, however, when I started unpacking I discovered I was missing three items, total value around $600. Two of the items were brand new kitchen appliances, the other, a very nice camping tent that was only a year old. I called the local shop in hopes that someone would know what happened to my items. No luck. I called and submitted a claim to replace my items. After waiting a week to fill out forms, I was told to wait another 30 days. I received an email saying they would give me $100, which doesn't even cover the cost of one of my items, much less all three. I called the claims department and asked if there was someone I could speak with about this. Joe decided it would be best to mansplain how it works in the industry and was extremely rude. Could be because the movers did take breaks and a lunch which I didn't think I was going to have to pay for. Those 45 minutes should have been billed to All My Sons, not me. They also moved slow as molasses. If you do decide to get a quote from them, times it by 3. They also charged me extra to securely pack my TV so it could be moved 3 miles. They ended up breaking the legs off my tv, messed up the screen, and dented the frame. After filing a claim, they agreed to pay 50% of the replacement value. I would not recommend using this moving company. You will be mislead with the quote, and they are careless with your belongings. The movers will also ask about tips, even after they moved slow and broke items. I had a really bad experience which surprised me as they were HIGHLY recommended. The crew did not show up until 10:30 AM.. They were SLOW, so slow in fact that they were running out of time at the end of the day and forced me to pay for an additional worker for the final hour so they could get done by 5 pm. Near the end of the day, they just gave up... just threw boxes into my dining room that were marked for other areas of the house, ( Boxes too heavy for me to move alone) they left a set of storage room shelves in my dining room even though I pointed out that they needed to go downstairs. They put boxes Marked "HEAVY" on top of boxes marked "Fragile". The workers did not care to communicate with me. NOW, attempting to get a resolution has been even worse. WEEKS of calls where I have been left on hold for hours, rude people who answer the phone, "Customer care" people who refuse to listen and send me claim forms for damage when I have no damage, what I want is my move finished. I cannot move some of these items that's why I hired movers for the first time in my life. All in all, I cannot recommend you use this company. I was moving a one bedroom apartment to another condo only 4 blocks away. The day started with the guys not being able to park the truck in my old garage due to one of the drivers needing to be trained. I, of course, was getting charged for this. During the furniture and box moving, the guys took their sweet time. It took about 3 hours to move a tiny one bedroom only down to the truck! They told me they had the address to the new home, but they somehow got lost on the 4 block trip. Again, charging by time. They were a little bit quicker at the new apartment, however two of them were constantly smoking. They conveniently finished five minutes after another hour mark. This is the highest moving bill I've ever had (and I've lived in much larger cities than STL). Don't waste your money! read more

When we made the initial request we got called back less then 5 minutes later ! The movers arrived pretty close to on time ... although they I felt they paused longer then they should have , which isn't okay when i am paying by the hour . They also didn't have any tools to take furniture apart , that would have been nice to know . In total they moved only 4 pieces of furniture and 2 mattress sets , with 3 men should have taken maybe 30 minutes , but it passed the hour mark since the "man in charge" kept fiddling with his iPad . They also broke a piece in our doorway without offering any compensation. We had to bring it up and contact the owner with pictures . We will see what happens with that . When we arrived at the destination we were given the bill.... we had paid a $200 a deposit already , expecting to pay maybe $150 or so more . Nope .... $370 more . $570 to move 6 things 3 miles away . They charged for many things they didn't say in the initial phone call. $149 for travel and 14% of the bill for gas ?!! Are you kidding me ?
