I had dashcam footage of the incident clearly showing the other driver at fault as well as the police reports and DA reports regarding the driver being under the influence of alcohol. I was assigned to attorney kristopher and Mari. The entire process felt rushed and like they couldn't care less about what happened, just cared about getting paid. I communicated with them mainly through an app called Case Status, which they told me I needed to download. I would send inquiries including questions, requests for updates and uploads of collection notices received from the hospital and doctors I've seen. Often, I wouldn't receive a response for weeks on end. I would end up having to call the office non-stop, leaving message after message, to finally get a call back from Mari, whom really didn't have any answers. Getting a hold of Kristopher was close to impossible. It took approximately a year to wrap everything up which included negotiations with collections, which is understandable, but it is beyond frustrating when there is no communication to me, the client, as to what is happening. My advice is to be more attentive to your clients and take the time to really explain the process them and be available to speak with them when they have any concern, even if that means having an assistant reach out rather than the actual attorney.
