They left me without gas or hot water for 4 days! Thomas couldn't figure out what the problem was even though Atmos labeled all the leaks. He cut a hole in my wall and left! He said I needed "parts" but the warehouse was already closed. I called the office multiple times to get an update, cost of repairs etc and kept being told someone would call me back. I called another company who said that a permit was never pulled for my house and it has to be done when Atmos cuts you off, new company came out had me fixed within a hour because I didn't need "parts",the city inspector came out the same day too. After my repairs were completed by another company I got a quote from Hawkeye for 3 times the amount it actually cost to get fix! Be aware and stay away from this place. Update he has now increased my amount due for the second time and called Fort Worth to try and press theft charges against me. Truly a horrible company and human. Stay away!

Today's visit was for the same thing: A pinhole sized leak in the copper pipe. The pipe had to be cut out, and due to tight spaces, PEX was crimped in. I was impressed with Jake's skills. I'm now considering getting the house re-piped, and not have to worry future pin hole leaks. Our water supply seem to cause this problem. I'm not the first house on the block with this problem. Tyler and Trent replaced a customer supplied 50 gallon short water heater and they did a very excellent job. We are highly satisfied with the service we received. We highly recommend asking for Tyler for any plumbing jobs that you have. He was highly skilled at his craft and very well stocked on his truck. Buck trained all new plumbers at the company he worked for for 18 years so giving Tyler a five star review really means alot. Tyler was highly efficient, informative, conservative grooming standards, respectful, and polite. This means alot to a master plumber who served 30+ years in the business but can no longer lift water heaters. Charged me $510 and told me to try somebody else (recommended I call the plumber that originally installed it). That plumber had it pinpointed in minutes and got it solved. When I spoke with the owner of this company, he said his guys are trained to trial and error for 2 hours before actually trying something else, such as a camera. I would have had to pay another service call with minimums just for this guy to come back out and use the tool he should have used out the gate, but clearly, these guys would rather charge the $210-$300+ per hour to eventually solve the problem on my dime rather than use the right tools to begin with. Having run service businesses for over 20 years, that is a very poor business practice. Use the right tools, troubleshoot properly, and charge appropriately. I would have been fine to pay the $510 and then some to get it right. However, I'm not sure that this would have been solved for less than $1,500-$2,000 with these guys. The owner was upset that I suggested they did a poor job and refused to refund anything. He did offer half off one hour of a future service call, and I told him I didn't trust them to do future service, so he basically fired me as a customer and hung up on me. Terribly unprofessional. Never doing business with them again, and you should think twice before trusting them!

They showed up exactly when they said they would. They stopped the leak and cleared a clog. Normally when I have a service technician come to the house they will only address the original issued called in about. The professionals with Curly's not addressed my additional concerns, they fixed them while they were there. To top it off, they did it all at an incredible price. Here is what happened at my house with this guy. I found him by Google search. Called him to ask…read morehis pricing on service call and because it is a R-22 unit how much per pound for the freon. He was a bit cheaper on the R-22 per pound and that is where the big cost is at! Well he checked the unit out and it was low. So, before he started putting in the freon I asked about repairing the leak first. He did ask when I had to put freon the last time. I told him it was last year when I had to put in any freon which was the case. Well he put in like 6 pounds. He never checked the upstairs unit for anything and didn't check any leaks on the outside unit either. This unit was used for main part of the home so I was just glad it started cooling again but I was totally concerned about it leaking back out because he checked nothing for leaks!! Paid him $550 and change. He wasn't even there an hour. He was so concerned about finishing up so he could get to more calls. He wasn't concerned about doing his job first, finding the leaks and fixing them. Just wanted to get to the next job. Well the next 3 days went by and no cold air!! Already leaked out!! Called him and of course he said well " the leak would be in the evaporator coil and beings that it is a R-22 unit it would be hard ti find even if he could get one. He did say it woukd be around $2,600.00 bucks. I told him no thank you. Called another AC company and they found the leak which was in the outside unit right in front of him where he hooks up the gages inside the outside fan motor area. Small little Cooper lines had rubbed together over time and caused 2 holes needing repaired. It didn't take the second company 15 minutes to locate those two leaks. I am now an older person and that 550 plus dollars can be used to pay my electricity bill. I am now in the process of recovering my hard earned money. Oh, he did go on to say his help had quit him so now he was the only person to repair units. He was totally not concerned about repairing the unit just stick in some high priced freon and move on to the next one. Lastly; the unit that he put freon in is now repaired and cooling properly and it didn't even cost me much more than what he charged for freon. The company that came out after him; was absolutely great!! I give him a zero rating.
