I'm not sure what associates I worked with but everyone that I spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly. I was there to purchase an arrangement to be sent to my husband's grandmother's visitation and even though it was Mother's Day weekend (their busiest time - 2nd only to Valentine's Day), they were able to meet my needs in a timely fashion. I don't have much experience with sympathy arrangements but I had a price range and a couple of ideas of what I wanted. They combined all of my ideas in a beautiful arrangement that fell right within the budget I had set for the occasion....including the delivery fees. They did have a new girl helping out behind the counter for the Mother's Day rush. She was extremely friendly but seemed to be a bit overwhelmed. She could have benefitted from a bit more training before being thrown into the mix. No complaints about her....She just seemed a bit overwhelmed is all. I plan to use Boyd's as my go-to florist. read more

I called Boyd's from Austin, TX around noon. (I always call a local florist; they really care and do a great job.) I needed something for a dear friend's father's funeral, and the viewing was at 6 that night. We discussed options, and I gave them a budget. They promised to have the arrangement at the funeral home before the family arrived. At around 3:30 the arrangement was finished. They texted me a picture and it was absolutely beautiful, and in a basket just like I has requested. I really appreciated the extra care and attention to my order. And I received a text from my friend after the funeral and she said the flowers were beautiful and uplifting. I would strongly recommend Boyd's for their special service. I called Boyd's Florist from Massachusetts to check on a bouquet I'd ordered the night before online, after business hours. Janice explained about what I'd ordered, letting me know that the bouquet was only 11" tall, which is not what I wanted. True, the dimensions are available online but I confess I judged from the photo only. Janice worked with me to come up with a much nicer seasonal bouquet for the same cost. I was thrilled to have a much nicer arrangement sent to my cousin! This is a wonderful business to work with, and lesson learned... whenever possible speak directly to the florists! read more

I called today to order a fresh flower arrangement for my close friend's mother who had suffered a devastating stroke and in the hospital. I had not gone to their website and just briefly stated what I'd like and my budget. My friend texted me a picture and they went above and beyond my expectations.
