Mid-point of the lake, restaurants/marina/conscience close. I would rather give a 2.5 star rating, however I'm optimistic and rounded up. Pros: location, friendly staff, kids liked the play and games area, plenty of space, comfortable beds. Cons: broken light fixtures/exposed wire, mildewed shower and curtain, mildewed-smelling towels, ants in kitchen and bathroom, melted tv due to its location above fireplace, dead bugs in light fixtures, grimy fans, ripped carpet, several burned out light bulbs. With some regularly scheduled maintenance and cleaning schedule, these issues could be resolved. However we won't be staying there again.

The food we had for breakfast was delicious! We were a bigger group and everyone was very happy with their order. I will say mistakes happen everywhere, my feelings and judgments are based on how the mistakes are resolved not in the fact an error happened. We checked in and when we went to our room it hadn't been cleaned (unmade bed, trash in the trash cans etc). Apparently it was mistakenly marked off. The owner went above and beyond to fix things and make sure we were cared for. Customer service is top tier!! I know it's a small town in a lesser traveled area but I know we will be back and I do highly recommend to anyone passing through! Also stop by the old fashioned soda and ice cream counter, even if you don't need a hotel room!! Trust me, you won't regret it.

It is probably the most expensive marina around but the amenities make it worth it. They also have 3 swimming pools and condo rentals as well as boat rentals. AND a wedding/meetings venue on site.
