Called ahead, was told they didn't have it (fair enough), and decided to go out there and cruise around anyway. The first thing I noticed upon pulling up was a the tree I'd been looking for sitting right next to the parking lot. A whole row of them. I asked a cashier about it, he said that's not what they are, but we went out to look anyway and, well, yes they were. I found younger ones of the same variety near the back of the yard as well. I opted to not get either here - at $399.99, they were nearly twice the the retail price the producer quoted. I opted to order online from another facility while still walking around. My second mission was to find hardy, non-toxic plants to line the new lattice of our deck. This was the first and last time I was asked if I needed help, and the stars here are for the guy who gave me a hand and checked the toxicity of a certain plant for me. I really appreciated that. The vibe of this place is very weird though. I can't say anyone was particularly friendly, if anything it felt as if I was being avoided. I'm not sure why though. Maybe it's being younger, maybe it's being tattooed, I'm not sure. The older folks there seemed to be getting warm welcomes and lengthy chats about their needs, but when I went to check out (opted to buy a very large, healthy and under priced monstera), even that seemed to be a task of discomfort. Again, not really sure what I did wrong here. There's plenty of other independent nurseries around that feel much more welcoming.

When we returned the pump to Hoffman's they wanted us to buy a new pump when it had a 2 year warranty. Today the new pump stopped working. We think they're reselling used or reconditioned pumps for the new price. Recommend buying pump through Amazon.

Before signing, we asked how long the project would take. They said it would take 4 to 5 days, which somewhat justified the high labor price for the 4 workers and the Project Leader. The project actually only took 2 days but, I got no credit for the lesser project time. To justify the gap, they jumped the previously quoted charge out rate from $90 /man/hr to $150 - $200/man/hr. I wish I had gotten more in writing. "Buyer beware".

Rohrs assured I would be first on list for next day. AGAIN took day off work and still no call so called by 10 am and told equipment broke and worker needed to finish a job and now wouldn't be until later afternoon. i stated I understand things happen but a call would of been nice to know. Needless to say they did not offer anything to make it right and so returned the tree. Horrible customer service and follow through. this establishment is only interested in commercial business for big money and would not recommend this place to anyone !!!

A long day. Needed flowers to plant at the cemetery. Also needed a small garden spade to plant them…read morewith. Long story short, after stopping at 422 Flea Market, and finding nothing. And driving through Lowelville, and Giant Eagle in Poland, did a Google, and saw Kushner's was very close to our location. Went there, it was after 4pm on a weekday. Was suprised they were even open. Got GREAT personal service, the flowers we got had just been trimmed out. The garden spade and other tools I bought were great quality and very inexpensive. I will be back to buy more plants, and garden type stuff. They have solar lights, trelisses, fountains and pond care accessories. I very strongly reccomend anyone shop here for any gardening needs. And they have more than just plants. Landscaping material, stones bricks statues patio furniture etc. and prices on most items that beat walmart easily. Add in the quality of what they sell, and the honest interest the staff shows for the customer, and you have a place that is exactly what I want when doing something as important as buying plants and landscaping materials for the house, or for your apartment patio or deck. All price ranges for every pocketbook or need.
