Ok. A lot to unpack here. fine enough to look at ~ clean. Mobbed with disrespectful kids and lackadaisical parents. Hot springs were closed "for cleaning" when we arrived on a Friday. They told us that due to religious reasons, they close the hot springs Friday night at Sundown to Sat night sundown. ZERO MENTION OF THESE DETAILS ANYWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE. We left after one night. To their credit... the people manning the front desk were sympathetic and kind. They did refund the entirety of the rest of our stay when we left the next morning. Never again. read more

2nd time to visit this RV park and hot springs. There is a new entrance and new building with beautiful locker rooms, showers, bathrooms as well as a gift shop and little cafe with yummy gelato, sandwiches, shakes and salads - everything we purchased was tasty. We chose to swim and then use the showers before heading back to our RV, so having the nice new facility was a nice treat! They even provide body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. However, disappointed the RV park has stopped serving their nice breakfast they used to offer. That is the reason for 1 star off. read more

We pulled in and thought "jackpot!" The grounds by the office are really nice and so are the RV sites. There were many empty grassy, shaded, sites. Then, we made our way to the site my husband chose online. We drove out of the "nice" area, through potholes full of water to end site J1. It's right along busy Lower Rainbow road so forget sleeping in. And long term campers warmed up their loud cars and diesel trucks before heading to work. Let's just say, it's not as peaceful as the website mentions. Free basic wi-fi wasn't true for our site. We couldn't even find it on the list. We did not take advantage of the hot springs. Too many kids. I would prefer to have paid less for my campsite and let me choose if I want to buy entrance to the hot springs. I really liked the staff. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and willing to go above and beyond just to find us a Bozeman magnet. She offered to open the store so we could look. Thank you. I give the campground 3 stars because of her. I will look to stay elsewhere if in the area again. read more

We had the best time of our lives! The new building is so beautiful, modern and well done. Bathroons and chaning rooms are so clean; the coffee shop has many good quality and healthy options; great service. We stayed at the RV park for one night, it was awesome. Nice park with lots of trees. Well maintained, very clean, very quiet. It's about 8-10 miles from the freeway, directions are easy to follow. Most pull- throughs are on gravel, some back-ins are on concrete pads. The Hot Springs are a popular spot for locals, it's not within the RV parks area so no noise from it. Very friendly and UBER helpful staff. Took us in a in a time of despair! Our RV ran into trouble and we had to stop last minute. They moved things around for us to fit in! John you're the BEST. Much to our surprise there were 9 amazing hot spring pools and super cool amenities. Very clean and beautiful grounds. They even had a band! We are spending the summer on the road camping due to Covid-19, and stopped in here for 2 nights to be in the Bozeman area to replenish supplies and check out the town. When we were looking for a campground near the town, the pickings were very slim.......this place had mixed reviews, so we were hesitant, but the location was perfect. I would rate this a 3.5, so decided to upgrade to a 4 because we drove by the other options in town and we were very glad we chose the former KOA. We arrived around 1pm, and were quickly checked in and shown to our site. They've done a great job with the social distancing, only allowing you to check in through a window and not walk in the store. The staff was friendly and explained how it worked with the hot springs, breakfast and bathrooms. I will admit, the sites are TIGHT. We were in site J5. This is an old KOA, and our site is clearly part of the older area. Now, after walking around the park, I highly recommend getting a back in sites that start with the letter K. These were large with concrete patios. The C sites were beautiful, with huge lawns behind for kids to play and to have a BBQ, but, buyer beware, the outdoor pools of the Bozeman hot springs are right behind them, so if you want to go to bed early, or are a light sleeper, I would steer clear. I imagine you can hear the music and people very late, as the pools close after midnight. Having access to the Bozeman hot springs were great - we went on Saturday night at 9:30pm when they open (due to religious believes, the hot springs are closed from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. We stayed for about 45 minutes and then walked back to our site. All you need is to wear a swimsuits, bring a water bottle/beverage and towels and you are set to go to the pools. Bathrooms were fine, although, my partner complained that there weren't enough stalls in the men's room. They are clearly putting a lot of money into this place, as the camping cabins were adorable, and the upgrades around the RV resort were very nice. I think they will have to eventually address the very close and not so nice sites in the old area, but right now, it was a great jumping off point for a short stay in the area. I would not recommend using this as a vacation spot or a place to stay longer than a few nights, but it is safe, clean and loved by the family that owns and operates it. read more

Great find. Right off the highway. Small sites/pull throughs but it was fine for the overnight. Free hot breakfast each morning. Laundry room was convenient. Restroom and shower could use a bit of an update but they were clean. They are connected to the hot spring attraction so you get free admission. It's a bit commercialized but I really enjoyed it! We are full time RVer's and just came from Idaho, hosting for 6 months and drove 6 hours. We thought we picked a great place to stay and get some relaxation. Well, we found out the hot springs are next door but a bit of a walk during the wintertime. The lady checking us in did NOT tell us we needed to fill our water tank before parking, kind of important information to pass along. It was dark, rainy and super windy and we were just trying to find our spot. WHY didn't she kindly tell us this?? She was nice but maybe needs to be more informative. read more

So we drove all day and arrived after hours. We were relieved to find the keys in an envelope for us with a map and instructions to follow. Super easy. The bathrooms were close by and clean. In the morning they had a delicious hot breakfast eggs and waffles with other choices as well. We had to leave before doing anything else but there was a drop box for the keys. I did notice they have a lot of activities for families. I would definitely stay here again as it was affordable and clean. read more

NO LONGER A KOA for two reasons. 1. Trash dumpsters all overflowing. They stink. If I owned this place I would call the trash company and pay for an extra pickup- the ladies told me that it would be picked up on their day. They also suggested I take my trash with me. I am 4 sites away, and it stinks. Every trash dumpster has trash overflowing the dumpster and it is all over the ground. Later I saw the owner ride by on his cart and look away. 2. Permanent housing. People live here and fix quad runners in front. Weeds everywhere. The owners ignore where the permanent people live. Now I know why KOA DUMPED THEM. They are no longer KIA for a reason. SOLUTION: Drive to Billings and stay at a clean reputable KOA. See pic read more

Nice little campground and RV park that includes entrance to the hot springs. However, there is no WiFi. That's not a huge deal, but it is clearly advertised on their website and at the campground. In reality, you have to stand in the grass outside the office to connect. As soon as you walk to your camp spot it kicks you off. I would prefer they not advertise something they do no have. Other than that, cute little spot about 1.5 hours north of West Yellowstone. read more

Great stay, wonderful customer service. Gave it a 4 star due to basically no internet, extremely tight spacing, and it is pricey. The upside is access to the hot springs next door, the fee to stay includes wrist bands for access to the hot springs, breakfast and really nice large dog park. Each site has a fire ring pit, picnic table, lots of trees and grassy area outside your space. We would stay here again, helpful friendly customer service. read more

Warning! Camp fires are allowed in this park. The couple next to us about 630 pm started a fire that was the smokiest fire you ever saw. My wife was out doing some laundry and I was in the Rv taking a nap because I didn't feel that good. The windows on the Rv were open and I awoke to burning eyes and not being able to breathe. I immediately closed the windows and the smoke continued to come inside (nothing is perfectly sealed I guess. I couldn't air it out. We left in our Jeep and at at 1030 pm I finally asked the guy when he was putting out the fire because I couldn't A regular camp ground is far enough apart for camp fires but this Rv park smoked us out. I called the campground at about 7pm but they didn't answer and we ended up trying to clean out Rv too 2am. We did 12 loads of laundry cleaning everything that was damaged by the smoke. My Rv still sucks v like smoke. I would never start here again. Sad because the staff was super nice but breathing is important ya know. I left 4 messages on their answering machine I'll see if the park cares read more

Loved this place so sad to leave! They had a grab and go breakfast each morning. The grounds were beautiful. We had a site that had hedges on both sides of us. It was very private. The best part is hot springs are free while staying there. They are a short walk away. Just be aware that Saturday during the day the hot springs are not open but open in the evening . They are closed sundown Friday to Sundown Saturday. We are definitely staying longer next time. read more

Kid heaven! I went to a KOA once when I was young and thought it was the best campground ever. My parents ignored my pleas to return. KOA is still how I remember- very kid optimized. This one has a super warm pool and a little water park teeming with kids. There's ice cream every night outside the store. Kids ride bikes in packs on the gravel roads. I thought the sites were very close together, with fire rings and tables oddly placed. Check in was slow, and the restrooms a bit run down. The dog park is more like a pen- not realistic for a dog to get a decent romp. There is a large field just outside the camp that seems great for dog play, but beware! My dog kept finding dead baby gophers out there. And it's really hard to maintain voice control over a dog that has found a tasty dead baby gopher. read more

What a wonderful Staff! A special shout out to Leslee and her husband, Robert for there unbelievable kindness and concern for me regarding my motorcycle trip through Montana. Unfortunatley I needed some repairs done and was unable to ride my bike to the bike shop. As well as losing my cell phone! Leslee offered me her cell phone and said go ahead make all the calls you need, her husband then offered to load my bike up on his pick up truck and drove me to "The Bike Shack" (please see review) where together we unloaded my bike in the pouring rain. That was the most outstanding personal service I could of ever have asked for. Thanks again you guys for taking the time to help me out! Now for the campsite! A safe, comfortable, clean, sites are well kept and quiet hours are quite, what a concept! Breakfast is a extra wonderful bonus which was such a surprise! Pancakes, sausage, cereal, yoghourt, toast, muffins, coffee, orange juice, oatmeal. Help yourself! I am so grateful to have found this site especially during my break down and during such a busy time of the season. Come here for your next night's you will be very glad you did! read more

Ripoff, called several days before and Lady said "you are lucky - we have one space avalable for you". I booked it for a week and she said its a very nice site, shaded and with grass. Got in and the park and the park looked empty, out of 64 more or less spots I counted no more than 25 RVs. I asked if I could get a better spot, she said "NO thats all we got" I told her that the park looked empty and she said "we have people coming on the weekend" What? it's Sunday, mothers day and you are not willing to give a customer that is staying 7 days a better spot, so you can acomadate the weekend people. I don't recomend this park at all. very pricey 55 a day and 75 a day for weekend, it also has bad reviews from customers. my spot had a huge box with all the electrical connections from the park, and there was no shade. there are lots of near by RV parks in the area with better reviews and cheaper. the water park is nice but crowded. The laundry is always occupied with towels from the spa next door. Also cable dosent work. Spa is not included. read more

I stayed here 20 years ago with my husband (at the time) and my three little kids. It was quiet, grassy, quaint. Imagine my surprise to show up without kids, all these memories and my now husband to show him the sites and relax. Except there was no relaxing happening. This place is a bit of a mess and that's being kind. They are doing heavy construction. The hot springs next door is under huge remodeling. While this KOA tries to offer a lot, it almost tries too hard now. The ladies in the office are stressed. So stressed that one girl (maybe new employee) just stood around like a deer in the headlights. She struggled to make eye contact and once when she did ask me what I needed and I told her (their wifi was down again) she said "I can't help you with that." It literally felt like the people who worked there didn't care about the people staying there at all! And that's sad. KOAs are supposed to be fun, friendly and laid back. Here were the glaring problems: Ants everywhere and I mean EVERYWHERE! They ran out of toilet paper in the bathrooms every day. One hand dryer in the bathroom for everyone. No paper towels. The electrical outlets in the ladies bathroom blew out when you turned on a hair dryer. The wifi (supposedly upgraded) was down almost the entire three days I was there. There is no pool or hot tub. The Hot Springs next door costs $6.50 per adult. It's a day pass, but if you just want to sit in a hot tub for 15 minutes, it's an expensive deal. (The Hot Springs were free when I stayed there 20 years ago....progress!?! I'm not sure) There is NO sink anywhere on the property to wash your camping dishes (we were in a tent). We used the laundry sink the laundry room. My final thoughts, they are obviously putting Lots and Lots of money into this place and just like a new ride at Disneyland, this place is a hot mess right now. Like a new Disney ride that breaks down all the time while they work out the kinks, this place is not a relaxing place to be. The new construction seems nice, but a lot of it isn't working great and they've lost the family friendly feel. Maybe they will get it back, maybe not. I would stay away from here for at least a year or two while they get all the construction done and work out the issues. And maybe hope that they spray for ants. Because seriously, they were horror movie bad! read more

We had a great time on this campground. We had a huge paved spot for our trailer that was nice and level. The free breakfast was a nice treat. The use of the hot springs was great, it was a bummer they are basically closed all day Saturday but it didn't affect us to much since we were there to see all of the sights around the state (Museum of the Rockies, Lewis and Clark Caverns, Madison State Buffalo Jump, Helena, etc). Our kids loved the playground and had a great time riding their bikes around the entire campground. Most of the staff was very friendly. I didn't see any permanent campers in the park as some other viewers had mentioned. I did see one mouse, but you are in nature so that happens. The wifi was non existent at our site. The office/store closes at 8pm which did seem early for a campground during the summer. Overall this is definitely a place I would recommend and stay at again. read more

Clean park. BEWARE. Sulphur smelling water. Water trickles out of shower heads, just warm enough to take the chill out of the air. NO change machine in laundry room, the change machine in the game room was broken. Don't forget to see our view from our camping spot along this stream in this deluxe camp site we paid extra for! We arrived and found a riding lawn mower at our site on the grass. It was not removed for quite some time. Our fire pit had also been removed. The maintenance staff is quite rude to say the least. For $80 per night we have expectations that everything is ready upon the arrival of the guests. I went to the office to inquire about our missing fire pit and was told that maintenance does not communicate with the office staff. Terry was very helpful and offered us the use of a pit in another campsite. She felt so bad that they even brought was wood and items to make s'mores. Although we appreciated this very kind gesture, it was clear that this campground is very unorganized. read more

My ratings are very swayed by the conditions of the bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms and showers were very acceptable. We stayed in a cabin that was clean, warm, and wifi ready. My only negative was that you could hear every creature walking across the gravel that surrounded the cabins. The cabin grounds were very lovely and each had their own water, fire pit, and picnic table. They are currently making room for more cabins and it looks like the roundabout will be just as lovely. read more

First off it is now Bozeman Hot Springs Campground and RV Resort. It used to be a KOA. Nice place. Breakfast included. Hot Springs included. So price is better than it seems when pricing things out. Friendly people. Pet friendly. Kid friendly. Lots for kids and families to do. Close to Yellowstone. About an hour and a half. Good access to "around Bozeman". We have a big rig. Spots are sufficient. And they've put in some nicer patio spots too. We would use it again. read more

I couldn't tell if the bathrooms smelled like rotten eggs or a hamster cage. The wifi sucked. Half of the laundry missions were "out of order". Why am I paying $58 for a place to park my van? Never coming back here again. The people who worked here were nice. But that isn't worth $58 when there's tons of places to camp in Montana for free. I needed the amenities but they didn't work here. This is absolutely one of the worst RV parks I have ever stopped at! They get one star because I can't give them zero. We made reservations over a month ago coming from California for two RVs they actually told me that our sites would be across from each other one with a 30 amp and one with the 50 amp I said perfect they gave me the total cost of the RV spots I have This all on our itinerary. When we showed up they said they don't have any sites for us and they are fully booked. We do not know the area you would've thought that they could have tried to accommodate us somehow or helped us find another RV spot but no the loser at the front desk just said sorry we do have your reservation. We do have your email address on file but we don't have a reservation for you. I said not sure how you have my email address because we have never stayed here before so obviously the person that took the reservation Never follow through!!! Sad this place give Bozeman a bad name!! He didn't even offer us a spot to park to figure out what we're gonna do. Now most Montanans are very friendly he's obviously not from here!!!! He did tell us on our way out the door make sure you check your credit card that you didn't get charged and if you did call us back and will credit you I say FU to this RV park it's really not that great. We rented a cabin here and it's basically just a roof with some beds. Which is fine because that is all we need! Cute setup outside with a fire pit, picnic table and a porch swing and a patio area. I see people complaining about it being dirty but I don't think it's dirty at all. They are in the middle of adding more cabins and looks like some other updates. They have a play area for kids, a giant chess board which is pretty cool and a mini playground. It also shares a fence with Bozeman Hot springs which you get to swim at for free if you camp here. It's an easy walk if you don't want to drive over. The only thing I don't like is the beds don't come with bedding which is fine cause I prefer my own anyway. I just didn't see that before I had rented our cabin. But it did say on my receipt. You can use their bedding for an additional fee and you can rent other things to use. Plus it's only $60 for the smaller cabin. Which is a pretty good deal considering the patio area, the cabin can fit 4 people(would be packed but doable) and everyone gets a day pass to the hot springs. I'll be back read more

We called to get a reservation and the guy who answered the phone was very arrogant. He told me there were only full hookup sites available at over $80. I told him I didn't want to spend that much and he said, "well that's all we have". I hung up and tried to find other accommodations. We couldn't so I called back and they stopped answering the phones at 7 pm. So we drove out. The drive-in instructions were very poor and I stood there for 5 minutes studying how to self-register. I finally drove around and found an empty site and pulled in. We tried to go to the bathroom and they were locked with a key pad. Some kid was flying around in a golf cart - almost hit my wife - even though they have signs posted that say strict 10 mph speed limit. I waved him down and asked the code for the bathroom. He arrogantly said, "it's the code you got when you registered." I told him that I had just arrived and checked in. He said, "well it's 5597." I then asked if the site I was in was ok because the instructions were so obtuse that any reasonably bright person couldn't figure it out. He went on about circles around the site on the map. I told him there was no indicia of a code as to what the red magic marker marks were. He then smarted off again. So that was just the beginning. The shower water barely trickles out. It's cold and can't be made hot. The water smells like sulphur. Unbelievable! For almost $100. Oh, and the sites are about 5 feet apart. These people are banking! And with this experience they shouldn't be. This place sucks!!!!!! read more

Liars and frauds! The only way this was worth the ridiculous price was for the wifi and pool. When we made reservations there was no info on the web or by phone that the pool and playground are CLOSED this year (now on web too late), and they changed the wifi password without telling guests so when we got back after office hours we were unable to work! The showers stink of sulfur and leave skin itching. The spots are small and no fire rings in many. The staff was snotty and unconcerned about the password change affecting my job! And serious overflow of communal garbage bin. * Signage is almost non-existent - we had to park and find someone to ask where the office was to check-in. No signs to mark rows of hook-up sites. * Bozeman Hot Spring Spa and health club is a 5 minute walk from the campground and completely fenced in. You get wrist bands daily that allow you to use this facility. Clean and very busy with locals. * Expansion construction happening on adjacent property, as well as at the Hot Springs spa. * Nice, new pavilion where free continental breakfasts are offered each day. * Downtown Bozeman is about 20 minute drive away. read more
