I for the life of me cannot understand why this place doesn't have 5 stars. My boyfriend and I are on a long trip from phoenix to Alaska and we hiked over 7 miles in Yellowstone and we're heading north and decided to make a little detour to soak. I was weary based on 3.5 stars but so for real right now it's $28 for non MN residents and you get multiple pools of different tenpatures, a cold plunge, a sauna, a steam room with cold and hot showers inside and included you get towels and a locker. I mean everything is so clean everyone was nice my stuff felt safe when I had some of it on a chair. There were kids they were playing I think having one adult only pool would make sense but that's not enough for me to take a star away! All the kids were respectful and their parents were attentive! Definitely will be back if we're ever in the area read more

I love how close this is to the airport. I believe I paid less than $30 to access for a full day. Best decision after a long trip and right before a flight. The indoor pool def felt a bit more chaotic than the outdoor ones. There are also lots of families here with their kids. There isn't an adults only section or pool so keep that in mind. Locker rooms are ok. They have plenty of towels, showers, and small dryers for your bathing suits. They offer the cold plunge pools and offer instructions on how to best use them for greater benefits. They have a small cafe towards the entrance with fun and yummy drinks. **November 2025: Monday Afternoon Visit** Of the different activities I researched before coming to Bozeman my mom requested a spa/very chill activity during our visit so I found Bozeman Hot Springs which definitely fit the bill! I was reviewing a couple of different hot spring options, but this one felt more like a resort and had both indoor and outdoor pools which felt like a more luxurious experience. We went on a Monday afternoon and it was nice and peaceful. I was told the indoor pool did not have chlorine since it was drained daily and the outdoor ones did. I saw other guests bring their own beach towel. The business does provide a towel, but it's somewhat thin and flimsy. They also provide lockers (with a lock) and there are showers if you want to rinse off before/afterwards. My mom and I went on a weekday, but I was informed that on that weekend they had a band play on Saturday and that on Sunday it was EdM night which would definitely be a different vibe. I love going to the Bozeman hot springs! Yes, it's pricey, but it's great for a special occasion or if you have friends visiting and want to show them the best of Bozeman. The facility is clean and nice. The gym area has everything you need and hasn't been busy whenever I've gone. The outdoor pools are incredible with fire pits, soft music and overall incredible ambiance. It's very romantic! They of course have saunas, steam rooms, cold plunge and towels are included. It's worth the price to visit at least once and it feels especially wonderful on a cold winter day. read more

This Hot Spring was so worth it and lots of fun! Definitely go here if you are in the area! In Bozeman outside of Yellowstone. For $28 entry fee this place was a great value experience. Saunas, varying temperatures of hot pools, cold pool, sauna, 7' deep swimming/diving pool, lounging pools, indoor pools, outdoor pools - many pools for you to sit in! The coolest thing was there is no chlorine used as this is spring water. The water coming from the otters statues indoor was drinkable as I saw lots of people filling their water bottles with it. We definitely lucked out because there was a great local band playing for hours on Sunday evening! It was so packed and lively and a fantastic place to spend the evening. So many recliners to sit on. The pools definitely got very crowded, likely because of the live music, but there was always space to be in and move around. The lighting and fireplaces at night created a very enjoyable ambiance for the outdoor pools. Inside smells a bit sulfuric but I think that is standard for hot springs, especially without chlorine. I did not question the cleanliness. Plenty of towels and a worker maintaining the premises! Only L was no showers as they are under construction. But we are very glad this Hot Spring was a part of our itinerary in Bozeman! read more

No doubt, this place is beautiful. They renovated the outdoor area, and they did a great job. The front desk staff were young but very polite and answered several of our questions. The lockers were clean for the most part, even near the end of the day. The pools were fairly clean, and they have a lot of nice amenities. There were kids in every single pool, either splashing, screaming, or cannonballing into every pool, even the cold plunge. That part was unpleasant. I was hoping they could designate at least one adult-only pool, considering they have 10+ pools. I have kids myself, and I'm all for kids having fun, but one designated adult pool would have completely changed the atmosphere. Now, the one thing that I could not get down with was seeing a transgender person going into the women's bathroom. I have kids myself, and there's no way, as a parent, I would be accepting of this. Just because you slap on a bra and thong does not mean you can walk into the ladies' room with a visible happy trail and an obvious bulge. I informed the young lady at the front desk and left immediately. I don't know if that's how Bozeman rolls, but as a family man, that's unacceptable to me. I won't be coming back because of this. There are certain boundaries that, as a society, we can't cross. I hope there were no women in that locker room. I'm physically ill. read more

I've and a membership here sense I was a little kid. Me and my friend went recently and went outside the doors were open and they said they closed the pools because of rain, we went inside and then stepped out to have a conversation away from everyone inside because it was super loud, We were not in the pool we were just sitting outside. A young worker named Hutch came out and my friends bathing suit had a nip slip and he grabbed her boob and fixed her swimsuit with out asking in and we said we were going to report him and he made us leave. read more

Really enjoyed our afternoon here! They have a mix of indoor and outdoor pools that are different temperatures. They also have a steam and dry sauna. Everything is co-Ed. The women's locker room had showers, lockers, changing rooms. Facilities are very clean and new. They also have a cafe on site. It was $21 for a day pass on a weekday which is so cheap! It was my first visit, but the staff did not explain anything. I was able to figure out where everything was with no issue. My biggest surprise was seeing so many children here. Came on a Friday afternoon with a group. Pools weren't overly crowded. The checkin process was really easy. The locker rooms were under construction, so it was a little confusing having to use the family rooms. Despite those small details, I appreciated the water fountains available and the fresh supply of towels. Wish the pool areas had a little more shaded options. I was really looking forward to visiting these hot springs to have a relaxing day, but was a little disappointed. They have several pools outside, all with slightly different temperatures. It's a really cool concept, but it was SO loud when I went. There were a ton of families and children there, so it really wasn't relaxing. I found the quietest pool, which actually ended up being super loud because the guys started screaming right after I laid down. The outside part also ended up closing shortly after I got there due to rain, so everyone shifted inside. Even after the rain stopped and was done for the day, they still kept the outside part closed... not sure why though. They had a large pool and then a couple cold/hot/warm smaller pools, as well as a sauna and steam room. I bounced around between everything for an hour or so, but it was super packed and loud since everyone shifted inside. I hung out by the smaller pools since there were less kids there, but there were times the kids would come over and start splashing or screaming. If they allow kids here, I think they need to have some rules like no jumping/splashing or maybe have 1 adult only pool. There's also a little bar area where they serve food and smoothies/juices. I got some kind of strawberry smoothie, which was good but a bit overpriced in my opinion. The day pass to use the spa amenities was around $35, so I think it's cheap compared to over spas I've been to. However, I just didn't enjoy it much, and I've heard the other hot spring (I think in or near Bozeman) is much nicer. Not one to leave negative reviews, but I and several members of my party overheard whichever two employees were working the desk on the evening of 1/12/2026 saying some rude and insensitive things about my friends and I as we were leaving, making rude comments about where we are from and disrespecting us. We do understand slight frustration considering we were a large group arriving an hour and a half before close - however some grace for a minor inconvenience is expected in a customer facing position. Visited on a Wednesday afternoon - $15 deal on Wednesdays but for Montana locals only - and it was a little busy but not overly so. Service wasn't amazing but facilities were clean and relaxing. I tried out every amentity - every outdoor and indoor hot tub (I thought the outdoor ones were especially novel and enjoyed how comfortably warm they are even when it was lightly snowing), wet and dry saunas were nice, locker rooms are clean (no need to bring a lock) and good quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available. We have arrived about 80-90 min before closing, ( our fault we came this late) but I wish we would be informed that pools start closing earlier than closing time. When we arrived we asked if it's same pricing as for full day if it's just in the last 90 min- were told yes. So we paid that. We had a group of 6 adults and 7 kids . Then before we even walked away a group of 15-20 people showed up and were quoted about half of what we paid. Then one of my kids picked up an item to look at a gift shop and was kind of yelled at by the employee as well. Sounded like that employee had a long and stressful day, she seemed very short tempered. So then we proceeded to lockers , got changed ( bring quarters for the lockers) so went on to outside pools, there was a band playing , my kids told me they didn't like it so loud so we went inside, figured we will just go back outside as soon as the band stops their performance. When they stopped we went outside and one of the pools they started to kick people out saying pool is closing then next thing they proceeded to close the rest of outdoor pools, and that was still like 45-60 min before closing time. Then went back inside guess what 30 min before closing we were informed that rest of the pools will be closing shortly as well, I just wish I would have known that they close everything off so fast. And we only had maybe half an hour total to enjoy they springs. As all the last pool was drained before the posted closing time. If you come early in the day it's a nice place and I worth it. If you come in the last 3-4 hours before closing might be ok- but keep in mind you will be kicked from one pool to another while they shut everything off and pools are drained before the posted closing time. If you come in the last 90-120 min I would say don't waste your hard earned money. At least if they would inform you that you might not have enough time to enjoy any of it. Only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1 is the landscape outside seemed nice. And location was pretty good. read more

Before our visit, my boyfriend and I read some of the reviews and were initially concerned about the experience. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this spring turned out to be. We visited at night during a light rain, which only added to the beauty of the setting. The ambiance--from the fireside glow to the thoughtfully lit surroundings, multiple pools, and steam room--was exceptional. We tried each feature and had a fantastic time. This place was the high point of our Bozeman day! That being said, we have never been to a Hot spring before. This place may not be the best but we enjoyed the concept and our time at the facility. The good: 1. Multiple pools and temps to choose between 2. The outdoor area is modern and felt very swanky (think like a las Vegas hotel pool area) 3. Good for all ages 4. The ice cream and smoothie bar excited all parties with us! 5. Plenty of parking for our RV The could have been betters: 1. The indoor facility does not match the outdoor area. Needs some updating 2. It's Covid times (still) and I did not see anyone set aside as a cleaner which would have made me happy 3. It was pretty congested at the locker room entrances, especially kids who were not being watched. Now don't get me wrong, my 11 year old was all about being able to roam freely as she chose but I felt like there were kids here who were not polite and oblivious to their surrounds especially to a woman carrying a toddler. Maybe having someone stationed around for safety would be a good business model to adapt. I can share that at the brewery we stopped at before stated she goes to another place, making it sounds swanky but we didn't need swanky. We just wanted an experience. Well, the first time I bothered to check out the new renovation, I was greeted with great service and the price was doable. The renovations were fun and I wanted to come back. But when I came back the next time, I was greeted by an indifferent employee smacking gum at me and asking a lot compared to what hot springs historically cost growing up here. Visiting Montana for the weekend and I guess one of the things to do is visit a hot spring. It was a much needed experience after hiking in the snow earlier. I love the multiple outdoor pools which each have a separate temperature depending upon your heat tolerance. The outdoor area was great but they definitely need to upgrade the women's locker room. For such a big spacious facility it definitely needs more than 3 shower stalls and 3 bathroom stalls. This was the first hot springs we went to. For visitors coming in from out of town just be aware that it is very very busy. It gave me the impression that this is what public pools must be like in the summer. Aside from it being over crowded, it's expensive. The locker rooms aren't exactly the cleanest. My kids were grossed out by them. The pools have chlorine! The outdoor pools are never drained. So I'm not sure how "hot spring" they can be if they never get drained. What a find. On a trip to Belgrade, Mt. we were looking for a place to camp. I stumbled upon the campground attached to the hot springs. And what a find it was. I learned it was purchased in the last few years and they have been renovating it. There's a very large warm pool, 2 - 106+ pools and 2 others I'm not sure about all inside. Then more pools outside that are lovely landscaped. The staff is generous of their time and answer questions happily. The picture is of part of the smaller side of the campground. Again, the staff here are fun loving and very helpful. The best part of it was that the camping fee included the entry fee for the hot springs. What more can you ask, full hook-ups in a lovely location with a beautiful hot springs. read more

This was my first time in Montana. I was scheduled for a later flight back to Las Vegas. I found this Hot Springs on yelp and decided to give it a chance. I came here in December and it was snowing outside. So the thought of enjoying a Hot Springs was definitely something to do. When I first walked into the building, I was greeted from the nice front desk workers. What I noticed was this was also a gym and you can have a membership to this location. I paid for my entry fee and was excited to enjoy the Hot Springs. They give you a towel and make sure that you bring quarters for the lockers. The men's locker room was pretty big. They had three showers. Once I left the locker room it let me to the main pool. When I walked further down they had three hot pools. The temperature of the water was perfect. When I finally develop the courage, I ran outside to the Hot Spring pools. It felt so amazing. The water was nice and warm and it was cold outside so even made it better. I didn't notice they also had a steam room, and a sauna. Both of these were very big since it was a coed area. I highly recommend this Hot Springs. If you were on a flight or your flight gets delayed or maybe you have a layover, this is a great place to kill time and relax. read more

As I drove in through Yellowstone's Gardiner entrance a sign announced that the Boiling River was closed. I inquired as to the reason and the Ranger told me it was because the river's current was moving too fast to be safe. Later, while in the park, I was looking at a map and unable to even find the Boiling River. I asked a different Ranger where it was on the map and his non-answer (he wouldn't tell me) gave me the impression that Yellowstone wants people to stay out of the Boiling River. So I did, but it didn't keep me from wanting to go to sit in some hot springs somewhere in the area. Enter Bozeman Hot Springs, a commercial enterprise which is many things, but most of all a place in which to enjoy natural hot springs. All the pools here are heated naturally, from an underground well. For a fee of about $10 per person one can enjoy the 8 indoor pools and 4 outdoor pools for as long as desired. You can even get a wrist band and return later in the evening when they might have live music outside. The indoor pools (all chemical-free though the sulphur scent is strong) range from boiling hot to freezing cold with every variation in between those two extremes. The fun is moving from pool to pool and testing your tolerance levels. I personally couldn't get more than ankle deep into the freezing pool nor even that far in the boiling hot one. Outdoors is somewhat more serene, with 4 chlorinated pools, none of them cold. I suspect part of the fun here is the fun here. By that I mean that it was a summer weekend when I visited and the kids are allowed to play. Indoors, it gets loud and that only increased when everyone had to come inside during a sudden electrical storm. If you want quiet, try outdoors, midweek, and/or evening. Bozeman Hot Springs also offers a sauna and steam room. Showers, locker rooms, outdoor seating, and food/drink (no alcohol) make this a place one could spend the day at. Though the place is clean, germaphobes likely won't find it up their alley but I've never been anywhere similar and for that, I thought the 90 minutes I spent here to be quite a fun and unique experience. read more
