My path to work changed and QT got a new location, so I stopped coming here. What brought me back was seeing the low fuel light come on my dashboard. I got the warning that I had low fuel and this Circle K was the first gas station I came to, so I pulled in to fuel up. The area around the gas pumps was well maintained, as was the rest of the parking lot. I didn't go inside like I use to, so I cannot speak of the staff inside. However, I can say the gentleman who pumped my gas was fast and efficient. Next time I'm in East Alton, I just might stop by again and go inside.

This morning I was in need of both, breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, I was tempted to get one of the donuts which are always flavorful and fresh. They had a glazed donut with pink icing and sprinkles, but I stayed strong and went with a Blueberry Muffin, instead. The muffin had good flavor, but was on the dry side. Made wish I had grabbed a small bottle of milk, too. For lunch, I grabbed a Cheesewich from the deli case. It's a low-carb treat with, a slice of Hard Salami pressed between two slices of Colby Jack Cheese. To accompany it, I got a small bag of Fritos, my favorite salty snack. I couldn't go totally low-carb. The staff is friendly and I always like looking at the years of service on their name badges. There's a lot of long term workers. When checking out, I always make sure to get a quick pick Powerball ticket. Keeping my fingers crossed that I win someday.

After he got his alcohol we proceeded to walk around and look for a snack for me. We then went up to the counter to pay for our items. The young lady that was up at the counter was very rude. She asked us both for our ID's when it was clear that he was the one with the alcohol and not I. Whenever I said that I was not of age she then denied us service. We were treated very unkindly. There is no reason for her to be as rude as she was. I am very upset with the service I was presented with.

This place was busyyyyy. Despite that the attendant behind the counter greeted every person that walked through the door. She was friendly and quick. It was hard to look around the place because it is small and tons of people were in the aisles. I will be back not just for the prices but for the friendliness of the attendant.
