The gas pumps were very slow and took forever to fill your tank. Even worse if you had to go inside to get gas on your pump. We will see how the gas station is post tear down and rebuild. It is conveniently located near Rittenhouse Square, The Schuylkill trail and 30th Street Station. The only reason I prefer this place over other gas stations is that they have a Subway. It is just like a regular one with the fresh ingredients and good sandwiches. They don't really have a sit down area though. The gas here is a bit pricey, but at least they got rid of the TVs, which used to be loud and annoying.

In the warmer months, you can find folks out here offering to re-rack your gas pump so that they can not fully re-rack it and then invite their friends to fill up on your card. Do be careful and only return your pump yourself, no matter how friendly the offer. The 7-Eleven itself is slightly below average in cleanliness, and honestly I haven't checked it out that much because I'm too wary of leaving my car unattended when I come here to fill up on my own. Will I still come here to fill up? Yes, since the alternative for me is going out to West Philadelphia and this is good enough. But not a great place to go if you can avoid it.

I got back in my car and pulled off because he continued to just stand there after and I felt uncomfortable. I don't need any help with putting air or pumping gas in my car. AMEX told me to dispute the charge directly- so I went back and showed them the charge, and they refused to do anything, flipping it back to AMEX. Now I'm in an an ongoing charge-dispute case which could have been easily resolved had I insisted on a paper-receipt.
