The meatball hoagie is a must-have, and it only came out to ~$10. Wait time on a Saturday evening was quick (less than 10 min). The hoagie was less saucey than other Wawa meatball hoagies I've had in the past but I'll forgive it. Would order the exact same thing again. Minus the tomatoes though, idk why I added them this time around.

I recently went to Philly because I wanted a good cheesesteak. Tony Luke's was alright but I think Wawa was a lot better value for the money. We don't have Wawa in NY so I really wanted to see if the hoagies were as good as I read about. This particular Wawa in the UPenn area was pretty nondescript. Inside it looked like a bigger and better version of 7-11. I ended up getting an Italian hero because it seemed pretty basic and a good baseline for the Wawa experience. I got it with a little bit of oil and vinegar. It was the 10 inch version and the total came out to $7.01. I was blown away by the price because I don't think you can find a full Italian hero in NY for less than like $10 minimum. Of course you can't compare Wawa to a genuine Italian hero but still. I took the hoagie to a nearby Panera Bread and ate it there. The hoagie wasn't the biggest sub ever, but it was decently sized. I believe they put ham and salami in there along with lettuce, onions, and provolone. The experience of eating this thing was pretty interesting. Because there is nothing really special about the hoagie and it's far from the best sandwich ever. However, it was just so solid for the price. There was nothing spectacular about the hoagie, but also nothing glaringly offensive about it either. All in all, it was a really enjoyable eat. The bread was fairly chewy. The cold cuts were pretty tasty. The provolone went well with the cold cuts. The hoagie was just so easy to continue biting into. After I finished it I had a bigass smile on my face. I was so happy with my Wawa hoagie that I stopped off at another Wawa on my way home and got a 6 inch Meatball hoagie ($4.89 total). That was also pretty solid too. I also got a medium coffee ($1.65) and 2 kit kats for $2. I'm definitely a huge fan of Wawa now.

I just love wawa. My go to meal is the macaroni and cheese with mashed potatoes and chicken strips. It's a great place to pick up a quick breakfast. Unbelievable hash browns. Service is usually nice, the food comes out in reasonable time. Warm and fairly priced. Best day is free coffee day though. Any size. Self service.

Hello. We purchased our meals last night from the 36th & Chestnut location. Ticket number 485. My wife makes amazing meals but we decided to stop there after our Kelly Drive walk. Imagine our surprise after longing for chicken quesadillas oozing with gooey goodness only to find goo. The tortillas were uncooked/untoasted, the chicken was undone and the bacon was soggy. Wife tried to salvage hers bug putting it in the toaster oven but then she just felt sick and lie faint in the middle of the living room floor. We love Wawa. The lemon muffin with the perfect dollop of cream ever so tastefully placed in the center...the sweet cream cheese of a warm stuffed pretzel...We just wanted that same sensation last night. Something enjoyable, which we did not receive.

Another great Wawa. Wawa is known for its above '& beyond abilities to serve people better than another gas station. Wawa is more than that. The store is clean and well kept. Products are where they're supposed to be on the shelves. Wawa has great subs too. You're able to customize what you want on the sandwiches and if you want them hot or cold. Great place.

It's listed as a steakhouse because they use premium cuts of steak in their sandwiches. Menu: they are so busy on the weekends that you can only customize the sandwiches on the weekdays. I let my son order and he chose "The Classic" for us to try. Since we were having dinner in a couple of hours, we decided to share. It is pricey for the size. I'm used to having it a footlong at most other places and these are more like half the size. After placing our order on the kiosk, it was ready within minutes. The Classic consists of prime rib, Cooper sharp cheese, buttery steakhouse seasoning with sautéed onions all held intact by this sesame hoagie. OMG!!! My son and I loved it!! I'm salivating as I am writing this review. The Cooper sharp cheese just melts everything together. You can tastes the high quality cuts in their meats. It is now in my top #3. I will definitely be returning to try their other popular creations. Seating is limited. My one little complaint is that I wish they would wipe the tables and barstools down. It was sticky and dirty. Service is excellent even with the soccer match crowds.

The burger was perfectly smashed with those crispy edges, the cheese was melty, the caramelized onions were packed with flavor, and that soft, buttery milk bun tied everything together perfectly. Every bite was messy in the best way possible. The fries were just as impressive, they were hot, crispy, perfectly seasoned, and impossible to stop eating. We found ourselves reaching back into the basket over and over. What really stood out was the customer service. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy we were there. It's refreshing to find a place where the food is outstanding and the service matches it. Then came the surprise of the day... the cinnamon roll. We bought one to take with us and didn't eat it until about an hour later. Somehow, it was still one of the freshest, gooey-est cinnamon rolls we've ever had. Every single bite tasted like the soft, warm center of a cinnamon roll. Honestly... it was even better than Cinnabon. That's not something I say lightly! If you're in Philadelphia, HUDA is absolutely worth the stop. Great food, fantastic people, and a cinnamon roll I'll be thinking about long after this trip. My son and I are already talking about coming back the next time we're in town.

As for the food, the Philly cheesesteak was massive, but tasted just okay. It seemed quite heavy on the bread. I think my husband maybe ordered wrong as he should've gotten the cheese whiz or maybe gotten the one with peppers. We've definitely had better cheesesteaks. The waffle fries were fries: tasty and delicious. My MIL's caprese salad was interesting. It was atop a bed of greens which was unexpected. Ok, onto the eats! 1. Della Casa ($18): A 12-inch soft seeded sando layered with a schmear of balsamic sundried pepper spread, fresh mozz, and hot cappicola dried with Calabrian chili oil and filled with fresh arugula and house roasted eggplant slices. This was good, however, the eggplant felt kind out of place. The slices were large and a little bit too mushy for my liking and it felt like it could have benefitted from an extra meat or contrast to the softness from the mozz, such as fried eggplant instead. All in all a 7 out of 10. Good but wouldn't order again. 2. Turkey Salumeria ($18.50): Another (delicious) 12-inch soft seeded roll saturated with a house creamy balsamic dressing (could have honestly drank this) + mild prov, LTO, sliced turkey and really great cherry pepper relish. This was a pretty basic, but all the parts came together to make a solid sandwich. I wouldn't necessarily order again but the combination of ingredients and the hellish relish made it a 7.5 out of 10. All in all, the quality of the ingredients, the combinations available on the menu and the stellar staff all make LK popular for good reason. While the selections we had this go around didn't wow us (just lacking a certain je ne sais quoi) I do look forward to going back to try the kale chx caesar, some of their cutlet sandos, roast beef and pork and of course the tomato pie and CCC's!

The ribeye was thin cut, delicious and the portion was pretty hefty. Second visit I went with - The Nad - $15 Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, Mike's Hot Honey that came on an unseeded Liscio's roll. The portion size was good, chicken was fresh with good breading, the hot honey was a tad on the heavy side, but the flavors all came together pretty good on this one. Sweet, salty, light bitterness from the arugula and some heat from the hot honey. I added Thin Cut Idaho fries to make it a combo for $3 extra and I have to say they were delicious.
