Plus, my older commuting car seems to run best when I use Sunoco Ultra over anything else, so I'm locked in. Most Sunoco's will wash your windows for free without being asked. Unfortunately, not this one. Perhaps that's a bonus you get for paying a premium when you buy Sunoco gas on the Turnpike.

The elder Indian-American gentleman and his younger coworker were so very cheery which is a surprise given the usual surly gas station attitude. They were clearly vested in the business as they were fast and attentive to the steady flow of incoming customers. There're neither convenience store nor air pump nor vacuum on site, it's a very small station. It's had many predecessors of many differing brands and so I'm hopeful these cheery owners will find success here. My fill-up over, I paid (actually paid earlier as they card before filling) and was on my merry way. Have a nice day!

They told us the police made a complaint so they towed it, but we did nothing wrong. It was moved a little every day and shouldn't have been bothering anyone. There was no ticket on it when we retrieved it, so I don't even know why it was towed in the first place. Must just be a way to make money off hard working taxpayers. The shop was busy, and upon arrival I parked in a spot I believed would not interfere with operations. In hindsight, I acknowledge the parking may have been improper. When it was brought to my attention, I immediately apologized and took full responsibility. However, during the conversation inside the shop, an individual who appeared to be in a supervisory/owner role said: "So you come here in a Tesla..." and "The Indian decided to come to my shop and park across three spots like that." I had already apologized for the parking issue. My race had absolutely nothing to do with the situation. Referencing my ethnicity in that context was unnecessary and inappropriate. If my vehicle needed to be moved, that could have been communicated directly and professionally, and I would have done so immediately. Instead, the interaction escalated to include a racial remark, which made the situation hostile and unprofessional. I am not posting this to create conflict, but to accurately document what occurred. Professional disagreements should remain professional -- without racial commentary. I hope ownership addresses this appropriately so customers and business representatives are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.

Coincidentally, I had an issue with my vehicle which was disabled on my driveway and told him about the problem. He related that he would be happy to look at it. After making the necessary arrangements, he was able to repair what I thought would be a real problem and had it back to me in less than 24 hours, for a fair price. Franky is a skilled, knowledgeable mechanic and technician who cares about doing the right job. The shop is conveniently located on Route 9 South in Manalapan NJ and I would recommend his services.
