Honestly I do not know how I'm just now writing a review for this place. I've been going to this specific location foe the past few years and every time I am greeted, directed, given quality customer service and informed. Visits are typically on a Saturday morning bright and early however today I got off work early and desperately needed to pay them a visit. Alex and Zoey were great. Alex informed me on all the things, some of which I was already aware of and knew I wouldn't be taking care of today. What I appreciate about Valvoline is I've never felt pressured to purchase a service. I also was able to meet the acting area manager, Pedro. Pedro if you see this and I said your title wrong I'm sorry. Haha. All in all between my yapping and getting my oil and 2 lights changed I was leaving within 20 minutes. valvoline destroyed my engine and refused to pay for the damages. They denied my claim before I submitted evidence. Both I and the dealership reached out to them and they refused to listen to reason. They are horrible. Do not go there. I had to get a new engine. RUN RUN RUN read more

8/16/24 Pulled in at 3:25 for oil change & coolant ck Near 2nd bay. Obeyed sign & waited for employee to tell me which bay. No one approached me, after 20 minutes, car pulls in behind #1 bay; employee pops right out. I waved at him and explained I was first and had been waiting for over 20 minutes and he said OK. I'm next; car in #2 is ready to pull out. Not the case. another car pulls into my right, waits five minutes, and goes into bay 3 when that car leaves. I call Valvoline customer service and get transferred to employee inside who is yelling through a phone picking up Traffic outside and I cannot understand or hear him. I tried to explain my situation when he said, how can I help you? He interrupted me and said you're being rude and I'm trying to help you. Never once said I'm sorry for the wait, So I said this is completely inappropriate and hung up the phone and he started waving cars behind me so I could back up and leave. Why he never could come to my car and talk to me. I have no clue. read more

Two days after I got my oil changed and air filter replaced at this location, my car started to breakdown. I had to have it towed to a local service center to be fixed. The mechanic found a piece of paper in my engine that was blocking airflow and caused my car to stop running. This mechanic stated he thought it was left under the hood from when I got my oil changed. I filed a claim with Valvoline. They denied the claim. I have called customer service several times to ask for a written explanation from either the manager, Brittany, or the area manager, Micah. I had my oil changed and air filter replaced at the Founders Square Valvoline on 8/24/2024 and have yet to receive any written statement denying the claim. I am not a car person, but I do not understand how else a piece of paper gets under my hood unless the hood is popped? Speaking with customer service representatives have not moved this situation forward. I am hoping to receive a letter, call or email from them soon. read more

I left this place without service today because of the demeanor and misery written on the face of the employee that was getting ready to service my vehicle. Instead of walking up to greet me when I got there, I was pointed at and directed with his finger on which lane to go to. Then while waiting I watched him work on the car ahead of me. He walked around the car like a turtle and the look on his face was pure irritation like he just hated being there and hated what he was doing. I absolutely do not trust my vehicle in the hands of someone like that!!! I left and went to Take 5 in Avon and I am so glad I did! As soon as I pulled up, an employee walked up to my car, greeted me with a smile, a water and a Take 5 candy bar! From start to finish, the service was IMPECCABLE!!! I will never go back to Valvoline in Speedway even though it is more convenient for me! The employees are in diar need of customer service training!!! read more

I am in absolutely shocked of how the customer service skills at this location has performed their business last week. I took my son's vehicle there for a basic oil change the next day. He went out to his driveway and there was oil leaking. We contacted Valvoline we were told to get the vehicle up there, my son managed to get the vehicle up there after having to add oil to it that we've already had an oil change on and because they forgot to put a cap on and also had to replace a sensor because they broke that in the mix of it well guess what it cracked my sons engine, and when I went to go, let them know politely Brittany that has the most professional attitude ever towards the situation in the most sarcastic voice ever that there is nothing that they can do for my son's vehicle. The last I check Valvoline, you guarantee a vehicle to leave their safe after you perform an oil change and because you neglect to put a plug back in because you higher incompetent managers and backyard mechanics to try to fix vehicles not even Fix do a basic oil change on and then tell me there's nothing that you can do when I have a professional mechanic review the car and tell me and let them know that this is not my son's fault this is from the oil change I do not want a manager from that location to contact me. I would like the regional supervisor or another corporate associate to please get in contact with me as soon as possible because this is totally asinine to #1, belittle and demean a customer over the phone and heinously talk down to the customer as well so please pull out the phone call records on that I'm not too pleased with the customer service at this location my sons vehicle had absolutely nothing wrong with it before he went in there. He gets an oil change wakes up the next morning and can't even drive his vehicle. He had to take off a school that day as well as get the vehicle to the shop in a proficient timing because your staff gave us a time limit on this procedure that needed to be done on the vehicle but yet you guys did not complete a service and also let my son leave your establishment in an unsafe vehicle at this point , I am not too satisfied with Valvoline right now so please contact me as soon as possible and I don't care that it's the weekend read more
