Using the rewards app is super straightforward, and I like that I can track and redeem points whenever I want. It's not because a hustler is asking to pump your fuel for money, it's because the attendant pumps the fuel. My service today was topping off my car with gas and I received .03 cents off by using my shell rewards. One can also use Stop and Shop redeemable points to get a lower price on fuel. There is a miniature convenience store located on the premises, which offers a vacuuming for your car, trashcan for cleaning your car. In the miniature store there's cigs; New Port, Marlboro, etc... Oil for your car, antifreeze, and snacks. I did not see windshield washer fluid which is what I were looking to purchase.

I wrote a detailed work order/plan, including a request for photos of the differential magnet, pan and gears for present condition reference (and this was done without any issue). The jobs were completed neatly, within estimated times (based on book times which I had read prior to bringing my 2013 GMC Savana van in). The price was well within normal expectations, both for the time and for the local area. I confirmed the work afterwards by examining the brake and power steering fluids, noting the work area under my hood clean and neat around the fluid storage sections. I also noted that, without asking, they filled my windshield washer fluid. Nice touch. :) I was promptly called when the job was finished and found my van doors locked when arriving, believe it or not something that too many stations fail to do. I was pleased with the work and feel lucky to have such a professional service station so close to my home.

I've seen the workers sitting in the back for up to half an hour waiting for the boss to wake up and open the business AFTER business hours have started. In terms of value, I wouldn't say I'm getting the most out of my monthly membership because they're closed at inconsistent and random hours and half the time I drive by for a wash I can't really get one. The quality of the wash is great, however, consistency and reliability are equally important for a business.

I standby that review, however, I bought the Ruby membership a Few weeks ago and since, this car wash has been closed the two times I've been there when there when they are supposed to be open. It's not convenient, especially in the winter months when you want to get your car washed more frequently. The first time they were closed, I mentioned it to the owner, and he said it was because the machines broke down. At least leave a sign at the entrance that you're closed due to mechanical issues. I won't stop going to this car wash, but I will not pay for a membership that I can't use when I need to use it.

The staff was super friendly and let me know about their 50% off promotion on 3- and 12-month memberships. They even came over and grabbed my all-season weather mats to run them through the mat machine for me. I stopped in during my lunch break so I was a bit rushed, but I definitely plan on coming back to sign up for the promotional membership. Overall, it's a great value and a really convenient setup.

The most…read morerecent experience was bringing our Toyota Highlander in for NYS inspection--and I asked Neil to also check out the front brakes and the running board because at the local Toyota service, I had been advised that the front brakes/rotor needed replacement soon (estimate $700) and that the running board had a large crack underneath that needed to be replaced (estimate nearly $600). Neil checked it out--"The front brakes aren't even close to needing replacement" and "There is a broken bolt in the running board that we took care of for you." All auto repair shops should be as competent, honest, and fair as the Roslyn Car Care Center! Keep up the great work!
