I have lived in Manhasset for 26 years and never could believe the prices for gas posted at this station. Their prices are anywhere from 70 cents to a dollar higher than any other station around. Why would anyone buy gas here? I also heard that the owner rents out a huge parking lot on his property to commuters from other towns. We pay high taxes to have a great commute in a train station that is not overcrowded. While he lines his wallet he is continuously causing overcrowding in our train station and traffic on our streets. Could any of this be a reason for paying his outrageous gas prices and patronizing this station? Many of the residents in this town work in finance and know finance very well. Do they not use what they know and do when they pay these prices and encourage these practices? I just don't get it. read more

I stopped by here on a Saturday late morning for an emissions inspection. It's normally a 10 minute job max. The manager told me he was closing and can't take any more cars. Obviously they do not need the money nor wanted to provide the service. Also note that this gas station has the highest prices in the entire area. read more

Word of advice: If needed push your car to another mechanic before going here. Dropped my car off for an oil change and about an hour later received a call from them recommending a tire rotation. I politely advised them no as the car was a lease and going back shortly. Later on I went to pick up my car and to my surprise they charged me for the tire rotation. I spoke to Bob and told him I said no and he apologized and indicated he could not remove the charge as only his manager Rob could. Bob guaranteed me that the next day he would talk to Rob to credit my account and went so far to write on my invoice that I said no. Well of course a few days go by and I hear nothing so I call and speak to Rob who now nastily says he won't remove the charge as Bob told him I said yes! Why didn't Bob tell me this in person? Are Rob and Bob the same crook of a person?? Most likely I was able to just dispute the charge with my credit card company and prevail but I have to wonder how desperate are you to try and cheat a customer out of $50. Let me not forget they also charged me $5.75 to refill my windshield wiper fluid!! Not sure why as I topped that off a week before. Stay away from this place, unless you love hidden charges. They charged me almost $300 for an oil change. When I picked up my car there were charges for brake fluid, washer fluid, labor- these charges were not made clear when I dropped the car off. This place is a rip off! When I called to dispute the owner told me to take my business elsewhere. Gladly!!! read more

Terrible service! Terrible attitude! And... Dishonest. Took my car here for a flat tire a month ago.. It was supposedly fixed for 50+ dollars.. Well, it has the exact same problem now.. Slow leak resulting in a flat tire! I took car back to have it inspected and mentioned the repeat issue I was having.. Well, the mechanic dismissed the leak, saying it had some other issue that would require a replacement tire now... (???) saying the tire wasn't there for inspection before, now it was. Clever attempt to make yourself unaccountable for the continued slow leak. Anyway, I still dropped the car off for Inspection and encountered a long list of fabricated issues. Went to another station a day or two later, guess what? My car healed itself!! That's all for now .. read more

My 82 year old mother had a flat tire on her rental car and she was down the block so she got the car there (barely). They told her she HAD to buy a new tire without even checking for a spare. When they found the spare, they STILL convinced her she HAD to buy a NEW TIRE for a RENTAL CAR rather than reminding her to go to the rental place for them to change the tire. They charged a hefty fee to put on the spare and an even bigger fee to put the new tire on after making her sit on a single chair for over an hours AFTER they called her to pick up her car because it was READY! The folks at Enterprise were mortified at how she had been treated. Who takes advantage of an older confused woman like that? A LONER CAR! This place destroyed my car. Went in for an oil change and they cracked the oil pan which I found out later, causing irreversible damage. Ironically, it's very expensive too. I think they get away with things like this because of their location and proximity to the LIRR. I do not recommend. read more

Station is located right next to Manhasset train station. Stopped in to fill up the tank at this Full-service-only station. Service was fast, friendly and efficient..unlike typical sloth-like experience at other fill up stations. I was impressed enough to write a review on a gas station! read more

My husband and I have been taking our cars to be serviced at this service station for many years. I think it's been over 15 years at this point. We've had many makes and models including Audis, Toyotas, Hondas and a Chrysler minivan through the years. We've never been disappointed with the quality of service. All of our vehicles have stood the test of time and lasted of us beyond their life expectancy. I can honestly attest to the quality of service that Rob and his staff provide. I'm not so certain why previous reviewers gave poor reviews but I have nothing but great things to say about this auto repair shop. My parents and I have been bringing our cars to be serviced here for more than 20 years. While you might be able to find a mechanic who can provide services for less it's very unlikely they'll be able to match the quality of work that they provide. Case in point, my 2008 Honda Pilot kept making this loud rattling noise. I brought it to another mechanic near where I used to live because it was more convenient. That mechanic has charged me nearly $1,000 and told me the belts needed to be replaced. I brought it to Rob and within 30 seconds he was able to correctly diagnose the problem and told me it wasn't the belts but the brake pump that needed to be replaced. He replaced the brake pump and we no longer have any noise coming from the car. This is doubly important because I have two small children and safety is our number one priority. If you think of your car mechanic as a car doctor, would you actively look for the Doctor who is the cheapest or the Doctor Who makes the right diagnosis and fixes the problem? In the end you'll save yourself a tremendous amount of time, aggravation and money. Don't hesitate to bring your car here to be repaired. These guys are honest and they do a great job read more
