Fraud is rampant at this shell location, I had a horrendous experience last month when I got gas at…read moretheir pumps. I paid at the pump to fill my tank and had a digital receipt (thank god for shell rewards it sends you e-receipt) but the attendant started claiming my payment didn't go through and that I'd have to pay inside or get cops called on me for leaving without paying (when I asked why did the gas dispensed at all, no answer to that). Anyhow, I show my digital receipt only to be called a liar and if I left I'd be charged with a theft. I had no choice but to pay again, of course when I asked to speak to a manager he was not at the store and that I'd get a call from him. Mark, the gas station owner, called me asking to email the digital receipt for investigation and that he'd get back to me in 24 hours. It's been a month I got no call back no refund and the corporate office doesn't care either when I made an online grievance. Fraudsters, stay away from this location if you can!!!

It boils down a simple phrase: When you gotta poo, the BP in Bridgman is the place for you. I had enjoyed a Portillo's beef sandwich (dipped in sauce, with cheese) not 24 hours before chance led me to drive through Bridgman, so you can imagine the vulnerability and anxiety I felt as I exited the car and prairie-dogged my way towards the restroom. When I arrived, I felt at peace and did my business with ease and comfort. Jane D., from Chicago: I'm sorry for your ankle incident, I really am. I stubbed my toe on my doorframe this morning and you bet, emotions poured out in the form of expletives. I cursed privately, and got on with my day. But for you to blame my man, working at a gas station for not "having (the ground) repainted" is uncalled for. He went the extra mile despite a statewide minimum wage of $8.50, got you ice because you tripped on a handicap-accessible ramp, and you attack his kind soul. Do you think that other gas stations in western Michigan are better equipped to accommodate your clumsiness? Perhaps it's been a while since you've taken a roadtrip. Yesterday, I stopped there around noon, stepped out of my car into what I thought was a puddle of water, but turned out to be a puddle of gas. My shoes were soaked in gas. I reported this to the cashier, and he said there was nothing he could do about it. I am concerned that there was no awareness on the station's part for safety , and also am pretty annoyed that after soaking and washing my shoes, they still smell like gas. I tried to call and talk to the manager today, but the call was not answered.

An attendant over charged me on my credit card in regards to getting kerosine and when I showed them the receipt that indicated the mistake, the attendant yelled at me saying, "You'll have to go to your credit card and tell them the issue!" Really? When I had the credit card receipt to show them? This place has very incompetent and very unfriendly workers. So now I have to go and dispute the $10.00 overcharge that this very rude Speedway gas station in Berrien Springs has exhibited. If there were "Thumbs down" icons, I'd give them 5 thumbs down for sure.
