However today I had a "manager" named Kristina refuse to sell me cigarettes and order ALL of her employees not to do so either even though I have a valid ID because she was having a bad day. When I asked why, and presented my ID AGAIN, she made up a reason saying she doesn't have to sell anything to anyone that calls her out of her name. Being as it happened with a store full of people however, I decided the best course of action would be to call customer service to let them know the issue, so now she can explain to the district manager why she was having such a bad day that she decided to take it out on one of her customers. Funny thing, after the fact I actually had other people that I work with that go to the same store almost daily tell me that she's hateful to everyone - not just me, so apparently this is the norm. She definitely ruined this store for me. If I were you, I'd shop at the other Speedway right down the street unless you like drama and having others smear their shitty day on you to make them feel better about themselves. Nobody likes a bully. I will take a moment though to also review Speedway's customer service if you have a complaint or a question. They were AWESOME. Because of this incident, they added quite a few points to my account and apologized for the ladies behavior. I wish they didn't feel the need to apologize for someone else, but still, it made me feel that my input was valuable and that at the end of the day, the actual company does value the business that I give them. I have been a reoccurring customer at this shell station for a few years now, but no longer. After…read moreabout a dozen incidents over the period of the past year or so, I have decided to boycott this station and perhaps the corporation as a whole as a result of this unbelievable experience in dealing with the stuck up, snotty and down-right rude behavior of it's employees. As an American Adult I feel it is my right to refuse to have my ID scanned for purposes unknown by a soulless corporation, but that's just me. In accordance with the current Ohio Revised Code, apparently the establishment also has the right to refuse service in the event that I refuse the scan to purchase age-sensitive products, understandably so (I guess). However, it is a dangerous mix to give a small amount of power and responsibility to those who would use it to make up for the downfalls of their own lives by egotistically disrespecting and irritating their customers. Please understand that this review is not based on the scanning requirements, but the belligerent disrespect and "I'm better than you" attitude I have experienced in dealing with these employees, having been nothing but polite and calm myself until this point. In summation, I would not recommend this particular shell station to my worst enemy. Certain female employees here should be demoted, fired or at least scolded for their inappropriate behavior. I will also be encouraging my friends, family and neighbors in this town to avoid this station until management corrects this behavior or hires ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS. WORST STATION EVER!!
