What makes Wholesale Mattress and Factory different is that they really do manufacture the mattresses they sell here in Baton Rouge. They will make the mattress with the firmness you want, with or without memory foam and with or without a pillow top. They are even able to make mattresses that are different on each side of the bed. If one partner wants a firmer mattress than the other, MW & F can make a mattress that suits them both. Here's the kind of customer service they offer: we'd had a four-poster bed made. When they came out to deliver our new mattress and box springs, the new mattress sat much too high on the bed. MW & F took the box springs (which is really only a fabric covered box) back, made us a much thinner box springs to fit our bed perfectly and delivered it at no extra charge! Maybe the best thing about MW & F is the prices. We were able to buy two high quality, custom made mattress and box springs sets for less than any of the mattress stores wanted to charge for one! There are no secrets about how to make a great mattress. MW & F can make mattresses just as good or better than the name brands and sell them for much less. My wife and I will never go anywhere else.

The best thing was they have same day delivery for $80 (paid to the driver) and we had our furniture by 7pm that day. Lots of options for mattresses and sofa/loveseat sets at good prices. We are supposed to be sleeping on firm beds... best for the back =) The Mattress Firm staff member, Jeffrey, greeted us immediately and helped us pretty much right away. He was super helpful and gave us the lay of the land. Of course we loved the Tempur-pedic beds, however that price tag was a bit steep for something we were unsure of that we'd like for the long term. The bed we tried was a firm, which was comfy, but wasn't sure how it would be after we purchased it an slept on it for years. My husband wasn't too keen on the hybrid bed after a while, but initially loved it. Anyway, we selected the Beautyrest firm bed. I felt better about that price tag and knew I wouldn't feel bad if my husband ended up disliking it after a couple years. I could sleep on any type of mattress, honestly. I'm the least pickiest these days. Anyway... we had a great experience there and Mr. Jeffrey went above and beyond to help us. The situation that I had at Mattress Direct with Ellis on Airline Highway is so detailed, I don't want to bore you with all of the needless back & forth that has nothing to do with the promise of a 365-day trial period on nectar mattresses that I purchased from him. I tried 2 Serta mattresses that he said he had available. I never got to lay on them but I specifically asked him if these mattresses were hybrids & he said yes when they arrived, they were only memory foam which was stamped on the bottom with a plastic label that said "MEMORY FOAM. Therefore it was not what I was promised but I was told I had to wait 30 days before I could return them. technically this should never have been even a trial. He told me they were hybrid mattresses when they arrived. they were memory foam. They should have, IMPORTANTLY, because the description given by the salesman and the description on the mattress itself were not the same thing (it wasn't a trial period) given me a REFUND at that point. no a TRIAL PERIOD"! I should have DEMANDED my money back right left the store, & bought ELSEWHERE (were they at least offer two trial periods, as Mattresses Firm offers) & none of this would be happening. HOWEVER , now well within my 365-day trial period, Ellis told me that they only offer ONE trial period, even though when I asked him what the trial period for Nectar was, he replied "they offer a 365 day trial"! I have a witness that heard a conversation i subsequently, had with him. Now they refuse to honor it. I've contacted Nectar as they promised me that if this company would not honor the 365-day trial, that they would pick them up. Now I've received a letter from nectar asking for more details that I provided them more than 2 weeks ago, but now I've heard nothing back from them. I've contacted both owners, sent them letters, left several messages & they do not return their calls, as you can see from the other reviews. This company promises yet they never deliver. As you can see from other reviews, they look for any way they can to get the most money from you & yet, not honor any kind of warranty/ trial periods. These mattresses were slept on for 2 months. I didn't want to deal with Ellis but it got to the point where I had to & it's exactly the nightmare that I thought it was going to be. All of this, he said /he said between the salesman & I are all needless chatter, but they'll find something they will claim, watch them, but they have no proof of it. NEVER buy from these people EVER, or you will be stuck with two miserable mattresses that you paid over $2,000 for that are not even comfortable enough to lay on for one night! however, look at the receipt, add the numbers up and subtract what I paid for it and you will see that they owe me $187.65.. simple math! I share the receipt that shows the description of an iComfort Iona mattress that I was told was a hybrid and it was not. ..as you can see from the AI generated response. She was very nice and listened to what we were looking for. She didn't try and sell us stuff we didn't ask for. She was very knowledgeable about the items. Not pushy at all. If we didn't like it, she moved on quick. It was refreshing. And when mom found the one she wanted, Jas told her to make sure it was what she liked. We actually found out after it was her first day there. I think she did amazing on her first day. The sale was easy and the delivery went very smoothly.
