March 2023, I brought my Mom to the Siegen Lane store to buy a new bed. She is 90 years old and…read morenot quite 5 foot tall. We were looking to get something that would fit her size and ability to safely get in bed. Taylor helped us pick out the set. She told us if we were not satisfied with the bed we could return it. Because the bed needed to be low for my Mom to get in the bed, Taylor suggested a mattress base that could be lowered as low as she needed. She told Mom if she didn't like the bed or had any issues, it had a warranty and could return it. She also sold us a mattress cover with cooling properties and protect the mattress. Mom was very excited to get her new bed. On the day of delivery, the crew removed the old bed and came in with the new setup. When they went to open the new base, Jesse, one of the delivery guys, saw the frame was bent. This was late in the afternoon and he said they would come back at a later date with an undamaged frame. I told him they would have to temporarily make it work so my Mom was not sleeping on the floor. He had me take a picture of the bent frame and said he would tell the warehouse about the issue. Informing me that they would either replace it or give her a credit. They also said the bed could not be as low as she needed it. After contacting Taylor about the issues, it took a few days for a response. It took about a week before they came back out to lower the bed. Jesse, who had been there the first time, asked me to show him the bed. I said I was glad he had come back and he told me he had never been to this house. Taylor was told these were two different guys that came out the second time. He said he had never been to the house which was not true. I have cameras with him walking up the driveway so I know it was Jesse both times. We tried for several months to make the mattress cover work, the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed because the mattress cover is slick and the sheet will not hold. Yesterday, I went to the Siegen store to return the mattress cover. I talked to another sales person and told him I wanted to return the cover and explained Mom's dissatisfaction. After trying to give me a sales pitch and skirting around the problem, he looked up the account to see what we had purchased. He then said he needed to talk to the manager/supervisor to see how to do the return. He asked to go in the back to call so I am not even sure he called or what he told them. He came back out and said because I did not have the package it came in, I could not return it. We were never told we had to keep the packaging. At this point, the delivery people unpacked everything so maybe they took it. Because of promises not kept or untruthful and after talking to Taylor again, she told me returns are not allowed. I am writing this review because they never contacted me after emailing. It is still too high for her and at some point she will not be able to get in the bed by herself. The frame is still bent, the delivery guys did not tell the truth and what Taylor promised, low bed, and return policy was not accurate. NEVER buy from this company, their service and warranty are not as promised and if you have problems with their product.........good luck because they could care less. Only want the sale!!!!

The showroom is not impressive. It offers the various mattress types made in twin sizes for customers to try out. The staff was always very knowledgeable and helpful, though. What makes Wholesale Mattress and Factory different is that they really do manufacture the mattresses they sell here in Baton Rouge. They will make the mattress with the firmness you want, with or without memory foam and with or without a pillow top. They are even able to make mattresses that are different on each side of the bed. If one partner wants a firmer mattress than the other, MW & F can make a mattress that suits them both. Here's the kind of customer service they offer: we'd had a four-poster bed made. When they came out to deliver our new mattress and box springs, the new mattress sat much too high on the bed. MW & F took the box springs (which is really only a fabric covered box) back, made us a much thinner box springs to fit our bed perfectly and delivered it at no extra charge! Maybe the best thing about MW & F is the prices. We were able to buy two high quality, custom made mattress and box springs sets for less than any of the mattress stores wanted to charge for one! There are no secrets about how to make a great mattress. MW & F can make mattresses just as good or better than the name brands and sell them for much less. My wife and I will never go anywhere else.

The saleswoman was very down to earth and very friendly. Not pushy at all. Sales people...that's what sells more....NOT being pushy. To a customer, a pushy salesperson seems sketchy. Great furniture! When we got to the delivery the two nightstands were damaged so they had to order them. To be delivered the following Monday or Tuesday. They first delivered a mattress that was torn. And though they offered to replace it, they have yet to bring the new one and take the torn one away. We have been told they would be out on three different occasions now to replace the mattress and no one has shown up. When initially delivering the chairs to my dining room table two were very wobbly so I sent them back. Instead of receiving them the next Monday or or Tuesday I was quoted (because they forgot to take it off the truck) again we are at Friday July 19 and I have to return to the store again to pick them up. Now on the 19th I am able to pick up my chairs and bench I ordered. But, again they do not have my end tables or my mattress. The end tables weren't on the truck they explained. I am told the mattress is coming tomorrow. They are telling me they might be able to deliver them on the 20th but they are not sure. They will have to call me and let me know if they are able to deliver them. Again, I found out they forgot to take it off the truck. They deliver ever the same defective caris with exTra pads under the feet to fix the short legs. "They are just made that way" In summary, they have been really nice about selling me several thousand dollars worth of merchandise. And extremely nice about telling me my furniture is defective, on order, not on the truck, or plain ole not delivered when it was supposed to be.
