This review is for Bracco's Towing. What can I say? My daughter's car broke down just 10 miles after leaving the repair shop due to a failed transmission, and it left her stranded in a left-turn lane on a narrow road where traffic moves quickly. She called me understandably shaken, and I told her to get out of the car and move to a safe spot while I headed her way. I called Bracco's Towing on the way, and they answered right away. Their response time was impressively fast, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. When they arrived, the driver was friendly, calm, and professional--exactly what you hope for in a moment like that. They handled the car with great care and delivered it precisely where we needed it. The pricing was also very reasonable, which was a huge relief given the circumstances. As a side note, their trucks are beautiful--even featuring pinstriping--which speaks to the pride they take in their work. All in all, they turned a frustrating and potentially dangerous situation into a smooth and positive experience. I'm very grateful for their help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

Again management uses their services to take people's car. Who actually knows if the cars are violating their rules, they just say they do. Especially in the cases of visitors who know nothing of the strict rules by management and Bracco comes all the same anyways. They call Bracco because they can, and Bracco takes it. Absolutely terrible experience. Bracco's Towing is outrageously expensive -- I was charged over $700 for just one day they kept my car. When I called for information, the dispatch person was extremely rude and unhelpful, and he was rarely even on the yard (if you can call it a yard -- their "office" is basically a shed). No professionalism, no courtesy, and zero concern for customers. I will never use them again and strongly recommend others avoid this company. read more

Yesterday my husband needed a tow. We called AAA and they sent out a tow truck from San Jose. Unfortunately the tow company wouldn't do it because it was considered a "recovery" problem given the location and dangerous circumstances of my husbands truck. He was near Uvas reservoir and had spotty cell service and we were having difficulty getting anyone else to do it. I was able to call Braccos towing and they sent out Jerry to pull the truck out. I called for help after AAA dumped me. First told me they would help, then hours later said that they couldn't. It was actually a pretty difficult job. Bracco's phone was answered promptly and politely. It gave me confidence that AAA just couldn't. Brian showed up, when indicated, despite the fact that he had previous jobs. He stayed with it, safely hooked up my Class B motorhome, and took care of the problem. Yes, there were complications, but instead of giving up Brian just worked harder to solve them. I would give 6 stars if I could. By far the best service I have ever had in this type of situation. Their equipment is new, but spotlessly kept so it looked even newer. Left a stranded Fed Ex driver outside my house for 2 hours in the freezing cold tonight. They lied and said they sent 2 drivers. We waited with him and can verify there were NO drivers to come down our street. We live in Gilroy so we know our home is easy to find off a main road near Christopher HS. Then I called on his behalf and the woman yelled at me once I told her that there were no drivers and that whoever said they came was lying. She YELLED at me that they came and they've been trying to reach the driver. Poor guy had locked his phone in the car so of course he can't answer. I started to be very firm and tell her to stop talking over me and she hung up on me. I called her right back and she said she hung up because I wasn't listening to her and it was her turn to talk. Then she tells me that it's ok for ME to talk now so go ahead... absolutely not acceptable. This poor guy was just trying to get home to his little kid. This company is terrible and has the worst company service. Our delivery drivers deserve better. read more

I had a really good experience with these guys today and want to make sure others don't hesitate to at least give them a call for a quote if they need towing services. I called several places to get quotes (one even had five stars on Yelp but hung up on me every time I called...), and the quotes were either pricey, the reps were rude or they just simply didn't want to do business on a Monday morning. When I called Bracco's I was pleasantly greeted, had a quick chat about my situation, got a fair quote, and my car was picked up and dropped off at home within an hour. Worse experience ever with this company Someone I knew vehicle got tow @3:05 today and we called to inform we were picking it up after getting release form from highway patrol. Upon arrival to this towing office . To be exact @ 5:10 we were charged an additional $125 more on of the regular fee for I guess arriving 10 minutes late.. Thought I had called to inform myself about picking up my vehicle and not once did the person answering business phone stated to me that if I arrived a few minutes pass 5 we will pay an additional $125 on top of the fee we had to pay to get vehicle out! I did suggested to please let each caller be aware of this policy. Plus I would of though with this COVID epidemic Company would of been a bit sensible with situation. read more

Outside of the long wait time, I was pleased with my Bracco's towing experience. It sucks to be stuck some place, especially when cars aren't really your thing and you have to trust a company to help you. Andrew (my tow guy) was genuinely concerned and very pleasant to talk to. He had my car hooked up and me dropped off at my destination within a few minutes. My insurance covered the tow, so can't get any better than that. I also got a nice tote bag haha, so that's cool. Given the nature of towing, I certainly hope I never have to use or call them again, but they will be top of mind if I do thanks to their excellent customer service. read more

So here's a great story that restores my faith in customer service: i had a 1972 Beetle... it kept having starter problems, but this time i was in Gilroy and my mechanic was in Santa Cruz, i needed a tow... So i called my insurance and they sent Bracco's Towing out... A very nice looking maroon and gold truck came out. The tow operator was a friendly young guy. He took at look at my car and quoted me for the tow. THEN he had a great idea... "why don't we try to push start it?" "well, ok let's try" i agreed... so he actually got behind my car and pushed it while i tried to throw it into 2nd gear and start the motor... IT WORKED!! I gave the young man a $20 tip for his ingenuity, but honestly the time he saved me, saved my day! I drove to my mechanic and then walked the 2 blocks to work and wasn't late!! Bracco's Towing saved me from getting chewed out by my manager :) which was priceless... read more

My 2001 Rav4 was stranded in Morgan Hill after a day of whale watching at Moss Landing. I used my roadside assistance through AT&T and they linked me with Bracco's because I needed a tow to Walnut Creek, which is a little over an hour away. AT&T wouldn't pay for the tow because they only provide the first $50 which covered the hook up to the tow truck. I needed a place that would take credit card because I didn't have any cash on me, but the rate Bracco's gave was reasonable at $5/mile and they take CC. It ended up costing $340 from Morgan Hill to Walnut Creek, which isn't bad in the grand scheme of things. James, our driver, called 30mins before he came to pick us up to let us know where he was and was super professional and friendly. His tow truck was immaculately clean and definitely the best tow ride I've ever been on. He even provided water for the ride, which I thought was a very nice touch. Once on location, he parked my car, which was completely dead, into the spot perfectly from his tow truck. If I had cash on me I would definitely tip him for the excellent haul he provided, hopefully this is review makes up for my uncouth cash-lessness. I can not praise Raina enough I locked my purse/keys in my trunk.! When I called Bracco's, I though it would be a simple unlock. However, my alarm was set and that dis-engages the button that pops the trunk. Getting into a locked Hyundai Elantra is no easy feat!!! So, once Raina finally got the doors unlocked we were both frustrated that there was no access to open the trunk.After trying all sorts of tricks to re-engage the trunk button (without success) our only option was to tow it to the dealership (less than a mile away). Problem is, I was in a parking lot and it took time and SKILL to maneuver the truck into position just to get my car loaded. On Sunday August 20th at 6am I got a flat tire on my way to work. I pulled over and I called my roadside assistance through my insurance. They sent a tow truck through thus company to tow my car to the closest garage until I could fix the flat since I didn't have a spare. No problem I let the guy tow my car and walked to work. The next day I get my car fix the tire and drive to dinner then to target. I go over a speed bump in the target parking lot where I hear a horrible screeching sound. Then again over the next speed bump and when I went over the dip exiting the parking lot. what the heck?! The next morning i asked my son to look to see if he could see anything hanging and he said yes mom! I see it. I look under and sure enough there's this piece of metal hanging there. I call the towing company explaining all of this and they ask me to send pictures. after an hour they call back and state no thats not from the tow. no way no how! later that same day i get an email from Dion asking what time do I work and where so they can come check it out and make sure it wasn't done by them. The man calls me again in the morning asking for the address and what time would be good to come by. I told him 1030. @950 my co worker tells me the tow truck is here so i go outside where shes already talking to the guy. I walk up and he tells me oh I was going to call you at 1030 that damage isn't from us but we hammered it back up for you. You probably hit something. I dont know about you but to me this seems so shady. why ask for a time then come early to fix something you didn't do in the first place and try and leave with out talking to me?? Next time I need a tow I will definitely be staying with the tow truck through out the whole process. Lesson learned. read more

I love my Honda Fit, but seriously, sometimes size matters. Those little tires are at risk for some flats, and the battery can't seem to use the emergency blinkers long enough to keep a charge! Not only did I end up needing a jump start, but a rescue from a bad location on a tiny shoulder of the 101... Ruben from Bracco's showed up and dealt with the situation flawlessly. He was great company and did his job with ease, which is important in these situations that have potential to ruin the day. He dropped me at the nearest tire place, which was a wonderful/cost effective recommendation, and I was able to safely return home feeling grateful for the help and quality service. read more
