Original review almost 2 years ago (just didn't quite get it posted ). Battery Service Requested Oct 2025: The response was fast and Michael Valenzuela made sure I understood everything about testing of my RV battery before and after replacement. I realized I had the original battery and it was way past the expected life. He didn't push the replacement but when I requested a replacement, he did the job quickly & well. Also a perk, he was a really nice guy. As it turned out 2 weeks later my truck battery died (also a seven y/o battery) and called AAA for help. Michael gave me the same great service. TODAY May 2026: RV wouldn't start, couldn't jump or charge it. After a short wait, Michael Valenzuela came out again. Checked everything out & a connection had rattled loose. No need for anything but tightening connections & charging battery. 2 YEARS AND STILL SAME GREAT SERVICE!!! Seems like Dick's Towing has a culture of quality, great service and hopefully taking good care of employees. We had our first flat tire in our EV and had no idea how difficult it would be. First of all, our Polestar 2 is not equipped with a spare but rather a quick fix kit that is not easy to use. We called AAA and they picked us up with a flat bed and dropped us at home with our car since it was getting late. So the next morning we removed our flat tire, had it repaired and returned home to install. It was not only too heavy for me and my 78 year old husband to pick up, it doesn't have a guiding pin. You literally have to pick up and hold a 60 lb tire and line up the lug bolts . I called AAA back for assistance since our driver the night before said they could come back and install if needed. Much to my surprise, that is not standard procedure and typically EV tire changes are not covered since they require special torque when reinstalling. Thank the "Gods" AAA sent Michael V. to us from Dick's Community Garage. I had to sign a waiver for the torque requirement but he was our savior today. He was so pleasant and kind, re-installed our tire in no time, and was such a pleasure to work with while explaining many aspects of the EV differences from a regular vehicle.
