Dr. French was scrubbing outside the operating room as I was scrubbing and prepping the patient's surgical area. As Dr. French tried to get into the operating room the door stuck. I stopped, scrubbing the patient and went over to the door. Staying in sterile mode, put my arm under the latch to open the door for him. He then kicked the door open with his boot, knocking me into the wall, to the point where I slid down the tiles. My own physician happened to be in the room, and when I looked up , the rest of the staff in the rooms faces were in were in total shock... mouths hanging open. Since I hade been able to continue to maintain sterility, as I slid down the wall from his kick, I worked myself back up to a standing position and went to continue to scrub the patient and prep her for her surgery. No words were ever spoken. I never received any type of acknowledgment or apology from Dr. French, and only by word of mouth, heard that he had to go to anger management for his actions. He showed no concern or consideration for what he had done. His surgery techniques were very good. Yet, his interaction with an actual person or show of concern in any way we're nonexistent. If you want any kind of compassion from him, forget it. He is all about the dollar.

If I were mandated to express my feelings here towards Dr. French, I'm concerned readers would think it was a purchased review. In summary, Dr. French is the most talented, knowledgeable, and considerate Orthopedic Surgeon I could hope to cross paths with in my lifetime. His ability and desire to convey the level of explanation I needed for each of the surgeries helped me to prepare for the pending trauma. He has always been there for me. My only concern is that when Dr. French leaves his practice, I'll lose my go to person for helping me with all of my orthopedic needs. I went to four or five therapists in the Lewiston-Clarkston area and only two are worth mentioning. The therapy department at St Josephs Hospital in Lewiston which I consider fully adequate but then my hands down favorite is Twin Rivers PT in Clarkston. They are skilled, effective, supportive, and while they do take care of business, they give me the impression they aren't in this just for the bucks. Dare I use the word "dedicated". OK so I don't trust 100% reviews either so let's see.... The background music is just off the air and usually sucks. Take your headphones and small radio. Also (compared to other PT places) the women don't dress like they are heading to a cocktail party. OBTW, when your regular therapy program is over you can go back for a very affordable Wellness Program. You are allowed to use the equipment but without the usual therapist's attentiveness. Also, the deal is that you avoid their busy hours. Still, this a really nice touch.

The young woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, and none of the health care providers were condescending or impatient. They carefully explained my options and patiently listed to my questions. I noticed a negative review about staff from nine years ago, and all if can say is that the staff he complained about must have all left; the staff I've met with couldn't possibly be better or more professional. My only request is that it would be nice to have a sign at the main entry of the hospital, because I had trouble finding the office the first time I came in.

Terrible experience at the Idaho pain clinic. They require two appointments in order to find out if…read morethey are going to continue you on pain medicine or not. I went to the clinic on the advice of a nurse practitioner who had cut me off pain medicines after prescribing them to me for fibromyalgia and orthopedic pain for many many years. She claimed that this clinic had continued many of her patients on pain medicines after she stopped prescribing them. This proved to be absolutely false. I did not expect only see a physician assistant, a young woman who likely has never experienced chronic daily excruciating pain in her life and thank God for that. They need to have practitioners who are empathetic to the kinds of pain that people who attend their clinic are in. I should not have been required to go in for that second visit requiring me to travel an hour and a half plus my sister had to travel 3 1/2 hours and an hour and a half to get me to this appointment as I have been disabled by being cut off of the pain meds. They could've told me over the phone that they were not going to prescribe them based on information they received from the nurse practitioner who cut me off from the meds in the first place, because she was fearful to continue providing opioids, and she's now promoting herself as an addiction specialist! This group like many others around the country are cropping up due to the fake "prescription" opioid crisis, that is causing pain patients to lose access to pain meds all together. So these clinics are now dangling the possibility of prescribing pain meds to pain patients to get them into the clinic, where they only provide experimental interventional, sometimes dangerous procedures. These clinics are a sham, and should be shut down in my opinion.
