This is a small jewel florist nestled in Old Town Pasadena. I called asking for a sympathy basket to take to a friend. I purchased a small basket with pink African violets, greens and another flowering plant. They dressed it up with a pink butterfly, ribbons and tissue. I ordered a sympathy arrangement for a funeral in South Pasadena this week and WOW, they were gorgeous! (My parents own a flower shop so as someone who grew up in one I know a bit about tasteful flowers and I couldn't have been more impressed). They were so elegant and gorgeous, and the two things I loved even beyond the design were the wooden cardholder and the handwritten note. Some shops have computerized note cards that feel so impersonal and what a difference it makes to have something other than ugly plastic card holders; the wood was a surprise, I had never even seen that before! Everything was about this place from the owner Brad to the design of the shop was so delightful. It felt like a cozy floral cottage from a painting filled with the most gorgeous flowers and lovely unique items. I needed to order an arrangement for a friend in Huntington hospital. I checked yelp and tried this florist. I ended up ordering again on behalf of my job and later visited the hospital and wow. Both were the most elegant, beautiful arrangements that i have ever ordered. Even the name tag on the arrangements were so classy..in gold foil.i only wish i took pictures. As I was doing my stroller run back to the parking lot. I happened to past by this beautiful flower shop. There was this one particular pink cactus sitting on a shelf that caught my attention. I decided to go in the shop and asked how much, and they told me $20, and it was sold, I couldn't say no to this gorgeous piece of nature. I met the owner Brad and he is such a total sweetheart, he even watered my cactus so I wouldn't have to worry about it for a couple of weeks because it was low maintenance. The most touching part about bringing this pink cactus home which I named 'Pink Lovey" was how Brad elegantly packaged it with so much care in a adorable small box with pink tissue, and a business card attached. Anybody who is looking for something cute whether it be a just because day, special occasion, or to add a very loveable touch to your home, you must definitely stop by and check this cute flower shop in the middle of Old Town Pasadena. I guarantee you will want to bring back something that you can treasure for a lifetime. I definitely can't wait to go back and bring home another divine piece of nature. Walked in and immediately was in a magical fairy land. The flowers were all top notch and beautiful. The shop was not to small and was filled with flower arrangements and decorative pieces. I ordered a $100-$125 bouquet of flowers for a family member recovering from surgery. I picked two of the fabulous suggestions from their website and asked if they could combine them for my price. What they sent was FABULOUS. The recipient sent me an image of the delivered flowers and they are truly outstanding. And, the recipient just emailed me to ask me how I described to the florist to get such a wonderful result. So, I thought I should at least share the information. Had a problem with wilted roses for a Rose Bouquet that had been delivered to my work for my 20th Anniversary. They were very apologetic and willing to fix the problem.
