I received these beautiful flowers for my birthday. They looked great upon arrival a few days ago, and still do! I replace the water everyday and I do add a little sugar, but there was a card on the flowers that told me to water daily, so it's not like they just drop off some flowers and expect you to do nothing haha. When you care enough to send the best, DO NOT use Pampered Lady Florist. I received an arrangement that was sloppy, poorly arranged, a sub-par presentation. When I called to express my disappointment, the woman that answered was not open to my explanation but was clearly on the offense and said, "What are you complaining about, you are just finding a reason to complain." I mentioned the sloppily written note attached to the poorly arranged roses. If there is ONE positive, the mini roses were fresh. Also, the water had a leaf in it and was murky. read more

If you are ordering from their website (and they seem to have two websites!), you may have a problem. You may pay, you may get the automated notices like everything's great, etc - and then come to find out later they never actually received your order from the web-based floral clearinghouse third party the online orders go through. If you order remotely, try verbally phoning it in, and maybe you'll have better luck. I had been a PL customer several times in the past, including when I lived in Pasadena, and it had always been great either in-person or via the website. They do fantastic arrangements! However, when I discovered the delivery had never happened for my terribly bereaved friend, I phoned PL and was met with confusion (as in, they could not find my order, and my order number did not help), and asked me to call back after the weekend. I did, and still confusion, no problem-solving. I was told they were busy and would call me back. They didn't. Not a great customer experience. So I started the process for a refund via my CC on PayPal. That went smoothly at least. read more

Pampered lady is the best florist I've ever experienced, we will never go anywhere else. My husband always gets beautiful arrangements from them that last longer than any store bought arrangement. His mother recently passed so we wanted them to do the funeral arrangements. Just a standing arrangement and a casket spray. They were EXQUISITE! And what we got was double the flowers of what the funeral home florist charged the same price for! In additional the most thoughtful bit was that they dropped off an entirely separate standing arrangement as a gift from them for the family. I ordered online which was fairly easy and they had various selections to choose from which were reasonably priced in comparison to other stores. My husband had ordered me an anniversary bouquet on Sunday (10/8/23) and he wanted them to deliver on Thursday (10/12/23) before I got off work at 12pm. He even paid for expedited shipping. The delivery lady didn't drop off the flowers until 4pm. I was long gone from work since I had gotten off 4 hours prior. The delivery lady called me saying that it's my husband's fault because he put them in at 1pm that day. Which is a lie because we have the receipt and it says the order date which was Sunday and in the instructions it says "deliver in the morning before 12pm." I told the lady "no it is not my husband's fault I am looking at the receipt right now" and while I am talking this lady is cutting me off saying "NO NO NO NO THAT IS NOT TRUE" literally talking over me and yelling at me on the phone. We moved to Altadena a year ago and I was looking for a good local florist to send an arrangement to a friend. I called as soon as the store opened, spoke with Betty, explained, in detail what I wanted, she confirmed that she understood and we completely the transaction over the phone. I wasn't sure if my friend would be home at the time of delivery and Betty said she would call me if she wasn't so that I could text my friend to alert her there was something waiting for her at home (it is an 80 degree day here). I wondered if she really would call me and she did! That was above and beyond and so helpful. Floral arrangements are so subjective, I like what I like. Having never been into the store, I really wasn't sure how it would translate. My friend called when she saw them and was overjoyed at how beautiful they were. I love this flower shop. It's small and kinda dumpy inside, but the staff is great and the arrangements are beautiful. It's perfect for a guy who wants to impress his wife but really doesn't know anything about flowers. Last night, I called them on my way home from work and told them I'd stop by in 30 minutes. I needed flowers for my wife's birthday and my budget was $50. I've done this before, so I wasn't surprised that the arrangement was gorgeous and waiting for me when I pulled in. Plus the woman at the counter (the owner, maybe?) is always super nice and helpful. I've used some online florists in the past, but the arrangements are small (especially at their prices!) and the flowers aren't as fresh. Most of the time I'm flying blind since I order all over the country and can't physically scope out the scene on my own but I felt some good juju about this one. Staff was very pleasant to speak with over the phone, took the time to make sure I was going to get what we wanted and make sure our message was written correctly and such. I always feel a bit more pressure when it's a sympathy arrangement, no one wants an arrangement meant for Bill coming in as Bob and saying who the F is Bob and tell him to get his own damn service.... I'm very happy with my experience here. My lady was definitely pampered. I wanted to surprise my wife with flowers at her work, but I was concerned about the delivery because she works at a middle school and moves from room to room depending on time of day and scheduled activity. Latoya, who's not their delivery staff volunteered to make the delivery personally. She took the time and extra efforts to locate my wife who was not in her classroom, but in the cafeteria at the time of delivery. My wife was happy and later commented on how friendly Latoya was.
