The roof was installed by the previous owner a year before we moved in. The roof was mostly in…read moregood condition, but there we some details they missed. They messed up the j channel trim and did not reset properly once the roof was set. The vent boots were secured at the center and not on the corners, so the corner bowed up after 10 years of age and resulted in leaks. If I used them for a full residential replacement, I would just want to be very specific with my expectations and have some means of guaranteeing satisfactory completion. I think I would likely just try someone else though. They have a really good reputation in town, but I'm not sure why if their work is kinda sloppy and rushed.

The price starts very high then they call their manager and start rattling off discount....... are you a veteran? Senior? Will you give us a good review? Will you put a sign in your yard? I fell for it. They want to install fast so you don't have time to change your mind. Mine have been up a little over a week and there is run off issues everywhere. It's like a waterfall coming off of the gutters in places. The day of installation after they pulled the gutters down I received a call from a manager and was told they had to install a board to attach the gutters to and blamed it on my roof. They said they wouldn't have known this was needed until the gutters were removed. This was an extra charge of course and they said it "had to be done so their system would drain properly but they'd wrap it in metal so it would look nice". The gutters they installed are way too small and the metal wrapped fascia boards they HAD to put in are holding water and dripping because the water is going behind them and catching in the half ass metal wrapped boards. I had a contractor and a roofer come to my house and confirm they are 100% faulty and I got conned by everyone involved!!! I also now have water under my shingles because they installed an improper water diverter under them. I have to get it all torn off and a new system needs to be installed asap so the water doesn't cause any more damage and since the roof is involved now. What a nightmare!!! Hiring a construction attorney and filing a lawsuit soon. This is ridiculous and such a waste of time, energy and money!!!!! It's a shame there are so many crooked companies and people out there. Also, I think this company used to be called Magic Gutter where there was a class action lawsuit about the defective product.

They had put on the previous roof 19 years prior so we called them. They said insurance should cover. Our insurance company was difficult, barely covering. Jessie from K & P kept up with us, checking for matching tiles on the roof (they didn't make them any more, no surprise), he had existing tiles tested, insurance co gave a little. Jessie told us KY laws have changed and suggested we complain to the state Department of Insurance. He walked me through my complaint and shortly after the insurance company came back with a large settlement. We had the roof done a few weeks ago and the workers did a fantastic job -- replacing all bad wood, checking with us making sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend this company.
