We were looking for a nice, non-chain, dinner near Camby and decided to check out Ralph and Ava's…read moredue to their glowing Yelp/Google reviews. We visited on a Saturday night toward the tail end of dinner. We were greeted by a smiling hostess immediately on entering and opted to sit at the bar to enjoy some beers on draft. They had a nice selection of taps, and also bottles and cans. They also had a full bar and a number of signature cocktails. Our server at the bar was attentive and kept our glasses full. For dinner, we don't usually get appetizers, but we read so many good reviews of the Crab Rangoon Dip that we had to try it. It was excellent - a generous portion of cheesy dip with real crab, drizzled with a sweet and spicy chili sauce and plenty of fried wonton chips. Would be enough to share with 4 people, but the two of us had no problem finishing it. For dinner, I had the buffalo chicken wrap with house made chips. The wrap was a good sized portion and I had enough for lunch leftovers the following day. I appreciated that they used a spring mix blend instead of iceberg lettuce. Following our dinner, we mentioned our meal to friends and family who live in the area, and all of them said they had heard great things about the restaurant. Happy to have a great local place to visit again next time we're in Mooresville!

Today, Monday, at lunch, every table was occupied except for the big table in front that seats six or more. I sat at the bar and service was instantaneous. My napkin was linen! I love that. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with chips. The sandwich came with provolone cheese, sun dried tomato, garlic aioli, and fresh basil on brioche. I held the bacon jam. The sandwich was delicious. The chips were good but seemed a tad overcooked to me. Street parking was available for me across the intersection next to the new vacant corner lot where the tornado wiped out the old jewelry store.

Upon walking through the door, I was taken aback by the heavy cigarette smoke. There were only four customers. I should have left. I had a hard time eating my meal because I'm not used to be around smoke. I wasn't aware smoking was allowed inside buildings anymore but that's okay, I just will not be back for that reason. The hamburger was okay but dry and too thick. Nowhere near the "juicy" label it had on the menu. I mustered up the strength to get through half the burger. The fries weren't much better. I was able to only eat about a third of them. The soft drink selections were limited. The TVs are hard to see siting at the bar and only one had closed captioning. It amazes me how the people owning establishments expect us to watch talking heads (ESPN) on TV with the sound off.

I so enjoyed the karaoke it was worth the hiccups. I sang all the songs I knew and I had a great time. The service was good. The guests that sang were good and fun. I will go back and take a can of tomato juice with me should I need it.

Food came out fresh and fast. This is your typical Chick-fil-A with fresh flowers at tables. I especially like that there is a play area for 3 year olds and under. I would highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Deluxe. It's always one of my favorite items to order when at Chick-fil-A. The Chick-fil-A sauce is also a perfect addition (this is a must). This was our first time here and won't be our last.

I don't get out to this westside Chick-fil-A very often, however, I was in Plainfield for a work training and grabbed dinner on the way home. Truthfully, I love the "My Pleasure." It's warm, friendly, and it's a greeting I look forward to. I'd be lying if I said there aren't times I say "thank you" just to hear it. So yeah, other greetings are fine but it's that greeting that makes Chick-fil-A stand out. Okay, I'll stop. Otherwise, this was the usual Chick-fil-A combination of good food, good service, friendly people, and an accurate order. I ordered a 3-piece chicken strip meal and upsized it. The order was accurate, tasty, quickly delivered, and reasonably priced. Is it the best food ever? Nope. However, it's top-tier fast food and I enjoyed it. Like most Chick-fil-A's, this location has switched to one lane for drive-thru and one lane for mobile orders. Both employees in the drive-thru were friendly and I liked seeing a supervisor come out to make sure one had gotten her break. I've been eating a bit healthier these days, however, this was a definite splurge and I enjoyed it. This Chick-fil-A is like most locations - it offers just about the best fast food experience around and easily blows away the majority of other fast food options in this area. I'll easily return when I'm in the area.

From the ceiling, to the bar, to the plants, everything had a Valentine's Day theme and it was so fun. Our rice was even shaped into a heart! There is a big, shared parking lot behind the strip of businesses with plenty of parking and we walked in through the back. We were seated immediately by the hostess and had some tasty miso soup brought out along with waters. Two of us also ordered Prosecco and we could hear them opening the bottle up at the bar, so it was fresh and bubbly. They also allowed one of my friends to substitute silver noodles (her fave) into 3 of the different lunch special options for a slight up charge. I ordered the mussaman curry with chicken and it was perfect on such a cold afternoon. The only downside to our lunch was that I asked for medium-hot and didn't taste any spice. The silver noodle dish my friend ordered was really good, but a lot of food, so we ended up getting to-go boxes for the rest of our lunch and they were just as good for lunch the next day. Our other friend ordered the cashew nut and ate most of that, minus some rice, which she put in my to-go box for my lunch the next day. The lunch special is such a good deal- it comes with soup, salad, spring roll, and your choice of entree for one affordable price. I can't wait to come back and try something new!
