I figured it was about time I wrote a review. Over the years I have been very, very picky about the…read morephysicians my family and I choose to visit. And, I've found it quite difficult to find the right fit, to be honest. So, early on, I really struggled to find the right physician and group for my kids. And, the fact is, when you choose your child's doctor, you aren't just making that choice - you are choosing the office staff, the physical office space and location, the hours, the other group physicians, etc. We lived in Franklin years ago, when my kids were little. I have plenty of "horror" stories of the various physicians and groups we tried out then. From 2004-2008 we were in Florida, and it was even more difficult there - I never found a physician I was confident in! When moving back to Tennessee, a lot of prayer (yes! prayer) went into my search for a new pediatrician. Dr. Pinkley was the first we saw, and we've never regretted that decision. Fantastic facility (and I've been in some nasty offices!), pleasant and helpful staff, generous office hours, great nurses, and we've had good experiences with the other doctors, the few times we were unable to see Dr. Pinkley. We've used this group for 7 years now, and never looked back. We love Dr. Pinkley!

I heard about this practice from a few women where I work. My son is brand new, so I am very…read moreparticular about who gets to give him care... ;) I have to say that Dr. Christina Lohse is incredible, and her nurse Tammy is amazing as well. Dr. Lohse is so personable, so caring and clearly explains things - usually using visual examples. My son has had tummy issues, and they were so sympathetic, kind and knowledgeable. I could go on and on. I highly, highly recommend. The practice also has an on-call nurse available, so you can call in during business hours with any questions - fabulous for a new mama. They follow up after appointments to check on us, and make sure we're doing all right. They've given us samples of formulas, probiotics, etc...above and beyond. They also have an awesome website with a ton of FAQ's and such.

This is my fourth visit in about 9 months due to my little one needing shots. Besides the fact that…read morethey didn't have our shots twice (although we scheduled months ahead); it appears that my time is not valued what so ever. It seems that having an appointment means nothing anymore and the wait time have exceeded thirty minutes more then once. My visit today was before my appointment time which was nice yet I believe that's only because I mentioned the issues before while checking in today. It's sad that a company providing "primary care" gives me the feeling they don't care at all. I truly wish these people the best yet I will be taking my family somewhere else from now on.

The office is upstairs with no way of getting a stretcher up there if an emergency occurs…read more(unfortunately we know this from experience). The elevators are too small. The EMT's were blown away by this and asked us "sooo....how did you guys find this place?" I interpreted that as "run!" There's always a line to check in. So even if you have a 5 DAY old baby, you still have to wait in the waiting room with all the other sick kids because you can't get checked in due to the line. I had to swat children away from my baby who was less than a week old. It was crazy. Also lots of children working there. Staff is SUPER young with the exception of a couple older doctors, who don't seem to be there full time. They send what seem to be interns to take vitals of newborns and practice things like rectal temps for the first time. All in all it felt like we were at a clinic in a third world country. Very chaotic and unorganized. Stay away.
