I have four kids and a couple have special medical needs so I'm often busy with doctors and follow ups, just not my own. After several medical issues of my own this year I decided it would be a good idea to try again to find a doctor I felt like took me seriously, knew what they were talking about and one that was not in a rush. A few had recommended Cool springs Internal medicines so I checked out their website. After reading bios I felt like dr. Dorsey Thorley would be my best fit. I have been to the clinic three times now and could not be more impressed. Dr. Thorley does not take my concern lightly. She seems to really want to find answers and not miss anything. She is thorough and not rushed. She also explains things to me very well. I have also been to their walk in clinic (which is so great because your always able to see someone). The NP that attended to me there was wonderful as well. I can not think of one thing that was not great about this office :)

The other doctors just wanted to keep me on prescriptions drugs, Dr. Potter cared enough to actually fix me instead of just prolong my illness. When I had questions, they answered them very quickly, in fact, much quicker then all my other doctors. If you are sick, Dr. Potter is the man to see. He will fix you instead of just keeping you on drugs. I feel better now then I have in over 8 years. My only goal was to feel good enough to play with my grandson, Dr. Potter not only got me there, I am able to do things I haven't done in years and feel better then I ever have. She's helped me recovery successfully from different sicknesses over the years. I don't have experiences with any other doctors at this facility. The office staff however, is not efficient sometimes. The best way to get a message to the doctor is register on a messaging app they use. Those messages get to the doctor more directly and she responds promptly.

The same can be said of the nurse practitioners I've seen at the walk-in clinic. The nurses and office staff are helpful and conscientious. We've never had any insurance or billing issues. The patient portal is easy to use. I'm able to schedule an appointment, pay bills, check health records, and communicate with my doctor.
