Staff at the exit were friendly, but maybe a little sparse throughout the entirety of the store. This may be due to the vendor aspect.

I asked my sister and another sister in law if they would like to go and they said yes. When we got there it was interesting and creative to me yet I needed help to put something together that I had in mind for an indoor basket with some purple flowers that I was told she loved. Carol just didn't help me, she was patient and kind and very respectful. She helped me create exactly what I was envisioning even if I didn't know it at the time. They stock good, solid, pieces in a variety of styles, which are all tasteful. The staff is friendly and personable. Gideon's also keeps all of their various internet platforms up to date with what they have in stock, which is something I really appreciate. But the store is lovely, so go visit! As far as layout- upholstered items such as couches and big chairs are in the front space where they are better protected from the elements. The door to the back is where their tables, dressers, buffets, and other hard furniture are. The note I made is that they have sets but they are typically broken up into the type of furniture. For example you like a dresser and wish there was a matching nightstand for it then you will likely find it in the nightstands. Overall a very solid place to seek furniture.
