I can't say enough great things about Hayden jewelers! We brought my daughter here when she was 6 months old to get her ears pierced and they were wonderful and professional. I recently came here to just get my finger sized because I needed my engagement ring and wedding band resized. My ring was originally from Litmann jewelers who closed and now I would have to send my ring out to get resized and it was going to take at least a month. Mark from Hayden jewelers gladly sized my finger and when I asked about resizing they were very reasonably priced and they do everything right there in the store and he said it would be done in a week (which it was). I was so nervous going to someone outside of Litmann but he made me feel rest assured they would take great care of my ring. When I went to pick up my ring the gentleman who helped me was so nice and even offered my daughter a ring pop. I absolutely love my ring! I get simple fixes done as well (watch batteries, broken clasps, etc.) and always get my jewelry cleaned for free while waiting. If I ever make a purchase that the recipient doesn't absolutely love, Mark allows them to exchange it for something different with no hassle. My finace purchased my engagement ring from another local jeweler, about a month after he proposed we started having some concerns about the setting the diamond was in, it was getting snagged on everything and becoming loose. Our original jeweler insisted nothing was wrong with it and it was common. After multiple recommendations to take it to Hayden's for a second opinion, we finally did. I have been going to this jeweler for years. Two weeks ago I went in to get an engagement ring. The owner, Mark Hayden, personally helped get me the perfect diamond I was looking for. Knowing how excited I was, he ordered the diamond from his vendor, even though I didn't have any money for deposit at that moment. They took such great care of me. Unfortunately, things fell through with my girlfriend 2 days before I was suppose to pick up the ring and i had to cancel the order. Mark understood my situation, genuinely felt sorry, and professionally accepted that I could not purchase the ring. Bought my and my husband's wedding band here, so went here to have my band and engagement ring soldered together. After a rude few employees waited on my for my drop off (for which I e-mailed Mark Hayden about and he apologized for his brother's "lack of curbside manner"), picked up my rings - got home and realized they were soldered together, but not symmetrically. Immediately went back and explained my problem. Mark Hayden did have the problem fixed right away, but everyone in this store seems to act like you have some nerve for complaining (I mean... they are only my wedding rings...). So three trips to Hayden Jewelers later, my rings are symmetrically soldered together from the front but are still sloppily put together on the back. I was offered nothing for the inconvenience of three 40 minute trips to Liverpool for their mistake. If you are looking for beautiful jewelry but don't care about customer service then this is the place for you. They do have amazing pieces. I wouldn't count on great service or craftsmanship on their repairs though. P.S. The "don't mark up" their merchandise, so there's no helping you out on price. That coupled with lackluster customer service makes this place a miss for me. read more

I purchased my wedding band here recently. My band is gorgeous, they worked within my price range for me, and they custom fit the ring to my finger so it fits perfectly! My only complaint would be that you can tell the ring was cut and resized because where it is welded back together (the underside of the ring) it's not perfectly straight. You don't notice when it's on my finger, however, so no harm no foul. All in all, a great experience and they have lots of variety. Despite what other reviews say, I didn't find Hayden to be that expensive compared to other jewelers for diamond bands. read more

I have been doing business with Hayden's over 30 years. They are one of the most accommodating Jeweler's I have found in the central NY area. Whether it's something as simple as a watch battery replaced or something as big as creating your own engagement ring, Hayden's is the place to go. It's the professional staff that definitely makes the difference. My fiancé and I stopped in with several rings we had and asked Mark Hayden if he could come up with a design using as many of the diamonds from the rings as possible. I drew a rough draft of what I wanted - a heart shaped setting with the biggest diamond in the middle and surrounding it with all of the smaller diamonds while staying true to the heart shape. Mark understood immediately what I was looking for and both my fiancé and I were blown away with the finished product. It is the most gorgeous unique engagement ring I've ever seen and receive many compliments on it. When we ordered the wedding band for me, Mark again stepped up and created a wedding band that molded to the heart-shaped engagement ring putting small diamonds around the band to make the ring pop even more. We could not have been happier with the rings or the service from Hayden's Jeweler's. The price also was not so high that we couldn't afford it.
