It was a pretty stressful situation trying to get my old jalopy onto the bed, but this chap (whose name I've forgotten- Greg?) did NOT give up. At risk to himself he just kept trying even though my car's towing points kept breaking off. To top that off, someone was having their entire house moved and it was coming toward us, escorted by several police cars and spanning the road and both shoulders. Somehow they got by us by a whisper, but this fellow never lost his cool. He gave me a ride to Dunrobin Auto and even offered me a lift home. He has just recently taken over this business and I foresee that he will do very well. He is hardworking, warm and friendly, and super easy to get along with. The following week they told me that my alternator needed to be replaced at a cost of $1136.50 with taxes it comes to $1284.25. I then went on YouTube and learned that an older model Nissan's, if the air conditioner compressor is removed, you run the risk of a leakage or damaging the compressor. I then called the Garage and expressed my concerns about my air conditioner compressor to Jonathan. I asked Jonathan to remove the rad fans and the radiator and and do the job that way. He informed me that the Mechanic did not want to do it that way and wants to remove the compressor for my air-conditioning. I really receive my car back on 7 July 2026 and as I drove home, I noticed the air conditioner, getting warmer and warmer. I called the garage and the Mechanic informed me to go in on the following Friday which was 31 July. At that time the Mechanic put a full can of air-conditioning gas into my car and my car began blowing cold air but the closer I came to home the hotter it got . So I called the Mechanic as soon as I got home and he told me to bring it in on Wednesday July 5, 2026. Now during my conversation with Jonathan he guaranteed me that at the end of this process I would have air-conditioning and it would be no issues. The Garage charged me another $226 to inform me that my compressor for my air-conditioning is no longer functioning and that they would repair it for a cost of $1400. Meanwhile, they had my car locked in the garage and I knew they were not gonna give me back my car unless I paid the $226 so I did I would like to know exactly what caused my compressor to fail. I would like to know why you didn't follow my instructions to remove the rad fans and radiator and remove the alternator without touching the compressor to my air conditioning. You decided to do it your way and now the compressor no longer works. I would like you to respond to this letter before I have to take further action. A response is requested. I was guaranteed by Jonathan that when the repair work was done my air conditioner would be operational. It is now not operational and I cannot get into my car when it's hot having a spinal cord injury, which does not allow me to travel in a heated car without the air conditioning, I cannot travel in my own car. If a reply is not received I will be contacting Consumer and Corporate affairs I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau and they are waiting on your response.I will take this to court if necessary !!!

Throughout this process, I have never been given a clear completion date. Each time I ask for an update, I am told that they cannot provide an estimated finish date. As a customer, this has been very frustrating because I need to plan my transportation and daily activities. I understand that delays can happen due to parts shortages or unexpected repair issues. However, customers deserve regular updates and honest communication about the progress of their vehicles. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling that the service was not professional. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and customer service for future customers.

Just had a first rate experience with Kanata Collision. Rapidly got an estimate for some body work…read morevia insurance. Made an appointment to get the work done that included Kanata Collision having to order some replacement trim. Dropped the car off on the appointed day, and was picked up by Enterprise car rental shuttle to pick up a rental car. Nine days later, just one day more than original estimate, returned the rental, got shuttled back to Kanata Collision to pick up my car. The car was beautifully repaired and also beautifully washed. Since the damage was completely covered by insurance, there was no cost to me.
