Being new in town and not…read moreseeing many reviews on shops around Storm Lake I decided to bring my car in to have a heater issue looked at on my 87 accord. Heater core valve was stuck and simply needed to be unstuck. The staff was very short and not very welcoming but that's the usual it seems with these mom and pa shops around here. After calling a few times during the week, only to be told that it wasn't ready and "we'll call you back", I finally got a call to come pick up my car. As winter was approaching I was excited that this vehicle was going to blow warm air. Boy was I wrong. The tech gave me a rundown of the work that had been done and went on to show me that indeed the heater was working, but only about 30% of it and he said as the car warms up more the heater should get warmer. Never did it get warmer. It only got worse. The car blew semi warm air for a minute at the shop and from the same night and on it feels like the AC is on at all times. Seems like I left the shop in worse shape. Wouldn't recommend.

Background: We were on our way from NW Iowa to Memphis for the Liberty Bowl on 12/28/2923. After…read moredriving about 60 miles our car's radiator "bit the dust." The plastic nipple that connects the coolant hose from the radiator to the engine block broke off spewing ethylene glycol everywhere under the hood. I immediately took out my phone and started looking for a repair shop in Storm Lake...the closest big town. I gave A&A Automotive a call and spoke with Gene. While on the phone, Gene check with several parts distributors close by. I was thinking, "Better get a room for a night or 2. Where are they going to find a radiator for a 2014 Subaru Outback nearby? Oh, and kiss those Liberty Bowl tickets goodbye!" Gene came back on the line an told me he found a radiator In Storm Lake! He gave me contact info for a towing outfit (props to Tyson at Storm Lake Towing!) The car was towed to A&A and 3 HOURS LATER we were back on the road! Amazing!!!! And, reasonably priced, too! Thanks to Gene, Nate and Adam at A&A Automotive for making a bad situation the best. BTW, made it to the game. Unfortunately the Clones lost. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are in need of auto service in Storm Lake, look no further than A&A!

We walked in and I was not wowed by the decor but the staff was friendly enough, we had a sit and started ordering. The sushi menu was great for a first timer since they break down what's in every roll. So no wasted money on something you don't like. That was a huge plus. Our rolls arrived and they were perfect I got the spicy crunch tuna,spider roll and my friend got the pink lady roll. The bill was under 40$ and we were both delightfully surprised how fresh and delicious this sushi was since this restaurant is in a shopping plaza. Eight years I've been introducing people to this little hidden treasure and my own mother started to eat sushi because of this place . I hope you read this and go cause you will not be disappointed in anything you get off the menu.
