Had 11,000 miles on it. Environmental Auto failed it. Said it needed wipers and an oil change and wanted over $300.00 to do the service, what?? I declined and took it to the NAPA Store across the street, they said they wouldn't change the wipers as there was no need. Finally got the oil changed today as this was the recommendation on the sticker in the windshield. I took it back to Environmental Auto on the way home to get my sticker and they said nope, it's been 34 days since we did the inspection, we need another $119.00 dollars because it's over 30 days. I don't have another $119.00 to give them. Now I'm driving illegally waiting on my next SSI check to take it somewhere else.

It takes 15 minutes at Jiffy Lube and other places, even without an appointment. Also, I sent 3 emails and made 3 unanswered phone calls to ask them how much a synthetic oil change costs. No response. Then, after learning that the oil change would take 1.5 hours, they told me the cost would be $96! Jiffy Lube charges $70. That was the last straw. What are those guys thinking? I would not recommend Capitol Hill Auto…read more They performed a front brake job for me and after only 366 miles, that brake job failed and my car became unsafe to drive on the highway, with violent jolting, extreme heat from the front wheel area, and a burning smell. I had to take it to the nearest open repair shop and pay again for front brake repairs to make the car drivable again. I later learned Capitol Hill Auto had used aftermarket parts without telling me or identifying that on the invoice. I asked them to reimburse the front brake portion of the original repair, and after one defensive response, they stopped replying. I would not trust them with repairs again. Update: Capitol Hill Auto ultimately reimbursed me for the front brake portion of the original repair after multiple follow-ups and filing an official consumer complaint. I appreciate that they eventually did so. Given the circumstances and the amount of effort required to get a resolution, I still would not return.
