It's fairly well maintained for a par 3 course, easy to walk and there's beautiful nature to observe! They do take tee times online, though that isn't a bonus to me since I like being able to show up and tee off anytime. However it does let you plan ahead a bit! All in all, it isn't anything super fancy, but for a par 3 course in the cities, it's a good option.

The staff has always been extremely helpful and when purchasing balls there is also a large selection of sandwiches, beverages and snacks. Each time, I have got a water only and there are plenty of nearby garbages to toss items when finished. Lastly, the range has the big 10 sports logos on the green which will measure the distance. This is a beautiful city of Minneapolis run course. It's not a long course so there are plenty of…read morepar 4s under 400 yards. The longest tee boxes are less than 6300 yards. The holes have some elevation changes and there are a lot of mature trees. Some of the greens are a mess due to people not fixing ball marks. But most are in good shape. The course gets a lot play. The cart paths could use some maintenance too. There is a ranger on the course to keep people moving and we played our round in under 4 hours! The club house is over a 100 years old and is in great condition. There's a snack bar on the lower level with sandwiches and hot dogs. I will definitely be back.

When you hit a bad shot you can usually get back in play easily. Even with the almost 40,000 rounds played here each year, the greens are in good shape. If the City of Minneapolis would do a little more maintenance, this would be five stars. There is a nice clubhouse with hot dogs and sandwiches. The staff here is friendly and helpful.
