    9th hole.

I had never played Keller before the recent renovation and at the end of the day it's still a muni course, but for what it is, Keller is pretty great. The course was in great shape for an early summer visit with surprisingly quick greens that were well maintained, as was the rest of the course. While it's definitely not a long course, it is mature and not without some challenges to prevent it from being completely overpowered. Back in the day Keller was host to a number of large events, and while that won't be the case in the future due to it's limited length and facilities, this place still has a lot of old charm going for it. The clubhouse and event facilities are much nicer than you'd expect for a county run course and while I don't think anyone will accuse the restaurant of being gourmet, it's a fine spot to grab a post round nosh and a pint. I'd gladly give Keller another shot any time due to it's combination of affordability, charm and quality of golf.

Dropped in for a quick round of drinks and bites with my husband before a comedy show and, as…read morealways, had the best time at The Puttery. The space is vibrant, playful, and beautifully designed -- there's something fun to look at around every corner. The staff is consistently warm, welcoming, and all smiles, which makes the experience even better. For drinks, I ordered The Revitalizer, a zero-proof cocktail that basically tastes like a piña colada (my favorite!) -- smooth, sweet, and absolutely perfect. My husband went with the Rock & Rye Old Fashioned, which was light, smooth, and super easy to sip. We kept it simple with the Chips & Dip and House Cut Fries, and both delivered. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, paired with perfectly toasted, well-seasoned chips. The fries were out of this world -- hot, crispy, and served with a delicious Sriracha ketchup. I also tried the horseradish mustard aioli (not pictured), and it was SO good with the fries. We always have a wonderful time here and keep coming back for the great vibes, tasty bites, and consistently amazing service!

Comfy couches, multiple bars, great tables for eating and all intertwined between the three mini golf courses. It was $25 for unlimited play which was so fun. We played one course, stopped at one of the bars for drinks and to watch the Wild and then back to golfing. Each course is only 9 holes so they go fast. Great drinks!

Everyone had a smile and that definitely contributed to a fantastic atmosphere. The course had lots of terrain and mature trees but wasn't too punishing for novice golfers (90-110 scores) who only play a couple rounds per summer typically but are working to play more often. I would highly recommend making the drive during the summer and can only imagine the views in early fall with the river valley leaves. Finally it looks like the clubhouse / restaurant is set up to host events and wedding receptions with amazing views. We will be back as the views, course, and staff made the easy 1 hour drive from Eagan well worth it.

A couple of switchbacks on the road bring you to a ridge overlooking the Mississippi River. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape. The forward tees were around 4800 yards which is a bit more on the shorter side but the many narrow fairways created plenty of challenges. Staff was friendly. Carts did not have GPS. We had a great experience and would gladly return for another round.
