Staff was nice. Did paint room. So disappointed. Kids ran out of paint with 2 minutes. I had to ask for more. Had I not headed back with them they wouldn't have got anymore. Place was dirty and smelly. Went back to retrieve paintings and no one was there. I spoke to someone the day before and they confirmed hours. Look on google and said open yet it was not. Wasted a lot of driving time. If you go- bring extra stuff to cover up. They provide short thin plastic poncho- will no cover past mid thigh. Paper shoe covers also provided but paint soaks thru. They said they could not give any extra because that would be wasteful. So we had ruined shoes and clothes from ponchos ripping!!!! read more

Wouldn't recommend the rage room. The glass items to throw are fun but the room is small and super hot, air did not appear to work well. Also the suit they gave me was wet, they said it was because it was sanitized but to put on a wet suit over your dry clothes and touching your dry hair is just gross. Even the waiting area had torn couches, paint cans on the ground and of you wanted to watch your friends you have to crouch down into a hallway and look thru a tiny window, I would think there would be a camera so you can watch the feed on a TV. read more

Took my son to the rage room for his 16th birthday and had a great time. The staff was really friendly and the experience was pretty good overall. The room was a little small and hot (the motorcycle helmet and coveralls probably contributed to that), and I wish there had been more stuff to break without having to pay extra. read more

I found this place online and thought it might be fun with my sister and two friends. I called and spoke to a representative about what it entailed. It costs $160+ for the four of us. This was NOT as advertised. The website and the employee I spoke with said you can use sledgehammers, baseball bats, golf clubs, etc. to bash/destroy glassware, tableware, electronics, and furniture. Once in the room, we were equipped with safety helmets, padded coveralls, and gloves. The helmets were too big for us and constantly slipped over our eyes, making it difficult to see what we were doing. There was only one small, one medium, and one large coverall available. Two members of our group requested large coveralls and we were told they only had one available. There were two sledge hammers, one of which was way too heavy for any of us to lift, one small shovel with a broken handle which snagged in the gloves everytime it was swung, and one large bent and broken shovel to use. We asked for a baseball bat and a golf club, but these were unavailable. We asked how we would know when our time was up and we were told that we would probably be done in about 10 minutes as the coveralls were very hot and we would be tired. We were given aproximately 10-12 small glass jars, some only 3 inches tall, a plastic child's toy, and a small canvas covered lamp. There was a 4 compartment metal sink, several tires, and some wooden boards. There were no electronics available to bash. We had to ask to close doors outside the room, because the glare from other, better lit rooms made it difficult to see our friends take their turn in the room. The employee we dealt with was VERY nice and apologetic about the limited selection. In order for this to be a satisfying experience, I would recommend that the room contain many more objects, including all that are advertised, the "weapons" used for destruction include baseball bats and golf clubs, the room should be kept colder, various sized head gear, and more than one coverall of each size be available. The lighting was dim which also inhibited the experience, so brighter lights would have been helpful. Black lights would make it more fun. The room should also be bigger as it is a very small area. We had to ask to close doors outside the room, because the glare from other better lit rooms made it difficult to see our friends take their turn in the room. We were quite disappointed that we paid so much for this experience that lasted less than 10 minutes. I would never do this again and would not only refuse to recommend this to others, but I would discourage others from this activity. Very disappointing. read more

Super fun time! You have to start using your brain the moment you walk up to the front door because at night it doesn't like like an escape room place. My bf and I did the rage room and it was so fun and a great stress reliever. We definitely recommend bringing in some of your own items to smash too. We made a playlist of our favorite hype songs that we could connect to the speaker intercom so it played loud as we smashed our hearts away. Did I mention we got to go in together too? How cool! After that we did the Western Bandit Escape room with our host, Bree, she was so helpful throughout the game and made the game that much more fun for us to be immersed in. My friend and I did the pirate room while on vacation in Temecula. I enjoyed the room but I would recommend one do it with more than 2 people. We did it with 2 people and it was pretty hard! We made it out with 4 minutes to spare but we also asked for many clues. Some of the ways they did things (I don't want to give anything away) and some of the locks were very cool! BEWARE... this business willfully creates unsafe situations for you and your family. I visited Brainy Actz in March 2018 for my son's 15th birthday. They put us in a room with five other strangers, two of whom were highly intoxicated, and when the experience nearly turned violent and police were called, the staff admitted that they knew the other guests were drunk from the beginning. As for the place, I've been to another escape themed business and while this one is slightly better - it's still below average and not very much fun. Especially when your children are emotionally abused by foul-mouthed degenerates. The two females in the other group brought in flasks of hard liquor that they tried to give to my son, and when he declined they made fun of him, called him names and tried to fight my wife. The two females cursed repeatedly, fell on the floor and screamed at each other again and again before the real mystery started... how was I going to salvage my son's ruined birthday and get a refund? Oh wait... did I mention the "manager" on site offered me a coupon? When I called their corporate office, "Josh" laughed at me and said he didn't know when I could get a refund. There are other options in town, look elsewhere unless a drunken brawl is what you are hoping to escape from. read more

Customer service can make or break an experience and in this case it BROKE our experience. Jeff, a manager was nowhere near helpful. My group of 2 had to reschedule for a later time due to our dog having a seizure and soiling all over himself and the house. Before we could go anywhere we had to make sure he was stable. We called as soon as we could after the incident. They had an open time slot later in the evening and charged us a $25 dollar reschedule fee. Then claimed there were no refunds. I'm all for policy... but when I give you my CREDIT CARD information over the phone you think the LEAST He could do was tell us of these fees and how the experience was non-refundable. We are disappointed in the unprofessional approach towards our booking and the lack of support. We feel SCAMMED to be honest and the only reason we did not cancel is because we would lose $86 from our booking. There are better escape rooms out there people. read more

We booked the rage room for a birthday party and were grossly disappointed. When you go on the website, it shows videos and pictures of people smashing TVs, bottles, microwaves, etc. We were so excited as they led us to the rage room. We were asked to put on suits and helmets which had obviously never been washed in months. The suits STUNK and the helmets were plagued with sweat (and probably tears). When we got into the rage room, there were only flattened pieces of metal to smash in the room, 3 tires stacked in a corner, and small bottles the size of my palm in the room. But.. what fun is it to smash metal? You can't even smash a tire. There were some paintings that were already ripped in the room. I could break that with my fist at home after a solo-art day. I'm not trying to smash a painting? I'm trying to smash a TV . Also, we thought we would be able to view our friends and family in the rage room but there was only a small window that you could barely see in or out of. The window was fogged and blocked by TWO chain link fences in front of it. So the rest of us sat in another room with a couch that seats one person comfortably. $40 per person for that? I wouldn't pay $10.. read more

Over hyped, over priced, and extremely underwhelming. My friend and I went to the rage room for my birthday and this place is not what they advertise online. To start, the girl who was leading us around was so uncomfortably awkward, we had to lead the conversation. Not what you want when you're getting hyped up to go break stuff. Takes us to a room and tells us to pick a suit and eyes or face cover. GROSS. Suits and face coverings just get used and used and used. No sanitation. Smelled awful. For the actual room, they show they have a variety of electronics, appliances, glass, etc. Not the case. We were brought into a TINY room that was half filled with trash, metal, and tires with no room to move around and the floor was lined with the glass we brought ourselves and a few pieces the provided. She turned on the AC that didn't work at all, said have at it and went back to the front. The protective wear did not work. I got glass all over my face and in my clothes. We were dripping sweat. Got through the glass in 5 minutes and had nothing else to swing at but metal and tires. They have nothing easy to swing. Everything was massive and heavy. How about a baseball bat? We came out, put our stuff back for the next group and left. read more

This is my 4th escape room experience from various different company's. I can honestly say that the Pirate escape experience much different and unique from all the rest. We came here for a team building experience with 9 adult dudes and we all had a blast. It was challenging enough for us and we still had to ask for a few clues. We barely made it out with a couple of minutes to spare. Major props to Taylor who made the experience so much fun. She was very upbeat and nice the whole way through. Didn't even offer to take a group picture like all their competitors do. Super fun! Tagged along with some friends to solve their pirate themed room on Friday night. Since it was our first ever escape room, we were skeptic about being successful. We were lucky to be paired with a family that had escape room experience along with the hints from our walkies haha. The theme of the pirate room was incredible and detailed. It was cold and dark in there, which pieced the "pirate-y" vibe together. The clues were smartly placed around the room. The customer service of this company is fantastic as well. Our host Brandon was very accommodating and enthusiastic, which complimented our fun experience (thank you for the clues!). My friends and I will plan another visit. First off this was our second room wait the Brainy Actz company and we did the Legacy room! We got out in the nick of time with just two people and had a great time! The design of the room was awesome and enjoyed the hybrid mix of locks and more Gen 2 style puzzles and even some new things we've never seen before in an escape room. We spent a good amount of time wasted on things that could have been mitigated with a larger group but the story seemed a little non-linear and often confusing about where we were headed next. This room was a lot of fun so lets hit some pros and cons! Pros: Great set design Clues that were helpful but didn't just tell us what to do Engaging puzzles that were difficult but rewarding Great customer service/ Good Game master ( Thanks Chelsea) Location Cons: Thin walls ( could hear the music the employees were listening to) Confusing/ill-portrayed story line Overall, we really enjoyed this room and everything they had to offer but the room was just lacking a certain "wow" factor to achieve five stars in my opinion. Still worth the trip and we will definitely be back to try the other rooms in hopes to sway our thoughts and opinions. read more

We decided to purchase tickets for a group of 6 in celebration my friends birthday. After the rules were explained we were taken into a western themed escape room and locked in 2 separate jail cells. The first clue we needed wasn't placed in the correct spot so it was impossible to solve the first clue. The room in total was never reset after the previous group. The safe with the winning gold was already opened. The two workers were very nonchalant about the situation and rushed us out in order to bring the next group in. My group of 4 decided to do the "Legacy" room this past Sunday (9/3) and we didn't have any appointments/walk-ins. The staff was friendly and accommodating and asked us to hang out and wait in the game room until our room was ready. The game room was pretty spacious, it had a basketball game, darts, and tables full of board games. Our host also had a display (which I thought was pretty cool)of the different types of locks in their rooms so people can try them out before the room. The room we did only had the directional and lock and key types of locks. Onto the room, it was pretty simple and well decorated. The tech in this room was pretty cool and the story flowed pretty well. My main critique on this room was one of the clues was not accurate/not glued correctly and there was a mental stretch in one of the clues which lead to some confusion and a slight delay. My group had a couple of rookies so we unfortunately didn't escape in an hr but our game master was nice enough to give us an additional 3 minutes since we were so close to finishing. Great for children's parties (there was a children's party the day we went) and the kids looked like they were having a blast. read more
